posted a message on i need keleseth (help needed)

Keleseth is good at the moment, you can play it in rogue, warrior, paladin, warlock and you can actually play it in budget decks..but it's a little hard to craft it with your collection,I mean you will have to disenchant 2 legendaries so it's not an easy decision!Arfus is bad,Lilian Voss pretty bad..that's all I can say :p The final decision is yours! :)

posted a message on help on crafting pleasee

All the cards you mentioned are good..Kazakus is very powerful, but if you are not going to use it then don't craft it(also rotates out soon-ish, definitely sooner than the other 2 cards),Keleseth is very important in many decks after the nerfs so it's a good choice and DK Rexxar also started gaining popularity lately, it's not the best DK but it's decent and very fun to play..I would definitely craft Keleseth, not sure about Rexxar though (I don't know your collection,so I don't know if it's the best choice).

I saw your collection, you don't have bad legendaries. The "worst" one is Lilian Voss,so I guess you could disenchant it if you really need the dust and don't want to spend gold on packs. However I think I would go for the packs,400 dust is like 10 packs and you may even get lucky and open something good! It's your choice though...

posted a message on Blizzard should consider a Casual Casual mode

I really can't understand why someone who just started playing would expect to win ranked games with minimal skill and (probably) bad decks...I agree that new players should be matched with new players and players of the same rank even in casual so that their experience is better, but the deck your opponent plays shouldn't be relevant! You play KFT,you should expect to see decks with cards newer and better than the ones of the basic/classic set, also you can't lose stars below rank 20 so that should be enough for someone starting the game now.People play meta decks at rank 20 because they want to stay relevant,i don't judge them and I won't play a classic deck because some people chose not to pay (with money or gold) to get new cards, furthermore many skilled people have reached high ranks and even legend with cheap decks so stop blaming "meta decks" for your inability to play well and go past rank 20,if you are not new and you are in rank 20 you probably belong there...In conclusion, yes new players should play against new players and players of the same skill, but the game can't be different for f2p and paying players and you have to deal with it!

P.S My response is not only for you OP,I respond to all the ideas written in the thread :)

Well your collection is not public so I couldn't see what cards you have, but dusting Arfus is probably safe,it's a pretty bad card. Finja is a good card, but I think you can live without it especially if you are f2p..it's not as versatile as Keleseth and many murloc decks don't run finja anyway!Keleseth seems pretty good for now(in rogue, handbuff paladin and some zoolock decks) so if you feel it will give you the boost you need and like the kind of decks that play Keleseth craft it! :)

P.S You can also disenchant wild cards if you don't use them and golden cards

posted a message on Taldaram in Kazakus Priest?

I have only used Taldaram in Druid...it was ok.You just need to have something good on board to be worth playing Taldaram and I feel the only class that can skip 3 cost cards, play big(and good) minions fast and draw Taldaram when you need it is Druid.I probably wouldn't use it in priest decks and the main reason is shadow word death,it's not a card you can skip just for the possibility to play a "good" 3/3,it's too big a trade off!

    Quote from DiViNE_Priest >>

Ice block is no OP itself, you can counter it in many ways(eye for an eye, fatigue, eater of secrets etc). The problem is multiple ice blocks+freeze effects+quest! You pop the block and get the mage to 1 health and then they freeze/clear your board and play the next block and then the same for 1-2 more turns until they finally kill you with a combo you couldn't possibly prevent even if you are the most skilled player..in my opinion the problem is that mages can play even 4-5 ice blocks in a game and freeze the board for like 4 turns, not playing 1-2 ice blocks.

Eye for an eye can counter Ice Block but that is 1 weak card in 1 class that people dont play because it isn't worth playing, unless you get it through RNG. Eater of Secrets is the only real option and that card is literally terrible in every other match up dramatically shitting on your win rate against other decks. So yes Ice Block can be countered at the expense of being a lot weaker against every other deck which is never worth it.
You are right though, Mages can RNG more than 2 Ice Blocks buying extra turns and they can RNG for more AOE Freeze spells to buy more turns as well as the 4 AOE spells they already run to buy 4 turns, which makes losing to decks like Exodia Mage feel completely uninteractive and makes you feel cheated.
Eye for an eye is a card you almost always get from Hydrologist (an auto-include in all paladin decks) and Eater of secrets is a good card to include in your deck if you feel the reason you lose games is ice block..it doesn't have to work well against classes that don't play secrets because that's not what it's supposed to do!So in the end it's your(or anyone's) choice to play something against ice block or not.Personally if I felt mages were good against my deck and eater helped I would use it and it would probably even increase my winrate, however I don't feel like I need it(actually I don't feel it's enough against exodia mage)..mages now have 15 ice blocks so I would have to get really lucky to draw it on time and also have lethal! :p

posted a message on How do I have fun?

Hearthstone is a strategy game,so you need to adapt..new expansion equals new decks that you can't always counter if you have a "poor" collection. So, disenchant old useless cards(you don't have a collection anyway, you said it),experiment with cheap decks(some of them are good),play with friends to do the quests and get gold, play arenas if you feel confident and generally play the game and get better and "rich"(with gold)! If you don't want to do anything of the above and expect the game to give you free wins or packs,well...that won't happen! If you really don't want to quit the game you have to put time in it and do your best with what you have right now so that you are able to get more in the future! If you are too bored or not having fun then you can watch some streamers and learn from them, some of them play with cheap decks every now and then(and get to legend) or make f2p "guides" or you can actually play/do something else..:P

1.Jade idol-gives infinite cards/infinite huge minions, unless you are lucky enough to draw geist(but it's still possible that the Jades are already big)

    2.Primordial glyph-discounted ice blocks,freeze effects,pyroblasts(or any extra spell) for just 2 mana

3.Ultimate infestation-better than any possible Kazakus potion, can be played in any deck without conditions(usually on turn 6-7)

4.Barnes-summons a 1/1 of a good end of turn effect minion(ysera, yshaarj, lich king) or deathrattle(deathwing dragonlord) on turn 4, especially problematic in priest decks

5.Thrall,Dethseer-well it can be too good sometimes and there's nothing you can do about it,clear the board all you want, burn his evolves,if/when the Shaman hits 10 mana you're dead

P.S That's just my opinion,I am not salty about any card,I am actually pretty happy with the state of the game at the moment. However some cards really are problematic and we can't deny that..

posted a message on Should "gimmick" decks be stopped, and if so, how?

I don't think I would call what big priest or keleseth rogue do exploits..they are more like OP synergies that don't even work all the time.I also wouldn't like to "forbid" people to play gimmicky decks as you call them, these decks can be fun for some people(in my opinion they are boring but whatever!) and they are high risk-high gain,so I consider them as meme decks, inconsistent but if you get lucky draws you automatically win!All in all what I do and what I would suggest anyone interested in my opinion to do is just play the game, build good decks that can counter most of the shit you see on ladder and enjoy, you will probably be fine even against "gimmicky" decks! And if you lose to a meme it's ok,I mean I would care if I was outskilled but losing to a 4 turn 10/10 although annoying doesn't mean anything..just keep playing and be happy! :P

Play ooze, early game removal,taunts/heals(depending on the class you play),mc tech. The kind of tech you would use against any aggro deck... however if they get lucky and draw everything they need fast you can't do much! :P

posted a message on Diverse Meta is Back!

Well I took a short break before the nerfs and came back to the game now and it does seem like the meta changed..I am happy to see people play hunter and rogue and warlock, trying meme decks and mill stuff,it's definitely more interesting and fun than before! However I don't think the meta changed that much due to the nerfs,I believe that most people just got sick of playing OP decks! :p

posted a message on is it safe to dust my jade druid deck to craft razakus priest?

In my opinion don't disenchant any basic/classic cards or cards that can be used in other decks as well. However,it's probably fine to disenchant Aya or any other (non classic) legendary if you are sure you will never want to use them again or they are bad and you need the dust to craft something you like/is powerful!
