Stats feel too low for a class minion especially compared to the neutral Gentle Megasaur. Would a 4/4 really be as broken? In Wild maybe but Standard? May not be "unfair" enough to warrant a spot.

Sleeper card? 57.2% people on the Card Reveal thread said it was playable. I think a handful of people see the potential, unlike the infamous Piloted Shredder.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but are the targets chosen first or do you choose the Adapt first?
It's a powerful card regardless – makes for some nice Tundra Rhino + Volcanosaur shenanigans – but choosing what Adaptation you get first is super flexibility.

Probably THE most useful priest card across the archtypes.

Purify Priest: Make a copy, drop it, then silence it. Full health minion. Hope its deathrattle or duration effect wasn't needed.

Quest Priest: Ups the deathrattle rate, and who knows, maybe you duplicate the quest reward like mages duplicate Reno Jackson.

Dragon Priest, Thief Priest: Hold onto your copy of Netherspite Historian. When you have the mana and ready to activate, drop it and this new card. A few turns later ... SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH. Duplicate another to SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH. And we haven't even touched on the possibility of facing another priest to obt- SECRET AGENT COMING THROUGH ... (if you've played Dragon Priest vs. Dragon Priest, you know what I speak of).

Spell Priest: Is it possible to get Medivh's staff twice?

Randuin Wrynn: More options for insane possibilities. Although I wouldn't drop this with Noggenfogger on the board ... oh wait, you're doing just that. Good luck!

Shadow Priest: You probably need another heal, right? I mean, Priest of the Feast, Mirage Caller, a few spells here and there ...

Highlander Priest: Kazakus, Brann Bronzebeard couldn't come with us to Standard play. But here is your new friend.

Unfortunately it summons the copy, not add it to your hand like Shadowcaster does.

Man that first match. His opponent's like "Everyone knows Pavel, yeah a lot of his fans from China have gifts for him so I'll give it to him later," while Pavel's like "Fuck if I know who this Chinese dude is. I just wanna win." xD

This quest could've easily been "Play four cards of the same name" and it would be less of a problem.

That would make it too broken. How? The Coin
Sure it's an easier Quest, but how fast do you really get to play four Coins? Not counting Counterfeit Coin of course.
You get 1 if you go 2nd, so half the time that's one less Coin.
You get 2 from Tomb Pillager, which is rotating out.
There's Cutpurse who is not only unreliable, but he's also rotating out.
The only Coin generator left is Burgly Bully, and how fast will you get 3-4 Coins from him?

Where do you get those 4 Coins now? Sure you could argue this deck will be busted in Wild, but then again what isn't busted in Wild? How busted is it even? How fast can you play 2 Tomb Pillagers (who need to die) + 2 Cutpurse (who needs to hit face) / 2 Burgly Bully who needs to proc from a spell? Compare that to how fast you can do the other quests.

The problem with saying "We have Thistle Tea and Mimic Pod" is that you're not guaranteed to draw a minion, and a minion heavy Rogue deck just sounds strange. This quest could've easily been "Play four cards of the same name" and it would be less of a problem.

Nope. he said "it gives the discarded cards +2/2 and returns it to your hand."
I think the downvotes speak for themselves. If you want to continue thinking that though, go on ahead.

Well tis' done. I'm disqualified and tbh I feel a little burned out. I think it's high time I do something else in my free time. Best of luck to everyone and the hearthpwn forums. Bye to Asylum as well since this was meant to be your farewell competition.

    Ciao :)

posted a message on Would you play a "no rewards casual?"

People have been saying "this is the sort of thing you do with people on your Friends list". If so, why not start adding each other? Basically start a group of people who want to try weird decks for fun? If someone queues up with netdecks that's against the spirit of the "Casual Group", you and the other members just remove them from the list.

Dang, so what, am I disqualified?
    Please don't hate me. ;_;
Like I said, I do feel bad about it because I could and should have been more attentive in my initial reviews to give you and some others enough forewarning to change it. But, at the same time, 41 entries did meet the challenge, and so I hope you understand that it simply wouldn't be fair to them not to disqualify somebody who didn't.
For whatever it's worth, I thought that card was particularly clever, and if I'd realized it before I would have suggested you keep it and boot one of your other minions instead. I get that the intent was to play with your minions that gained bonuses for having adjacent minions, and that was a cool synergy effect, but it also read as "Summon two minions, but just with a requirement that you already have one", see what I mean?
Well I can't hate you for doing your job, Asylum. No hard feelings here. I just thought it would be allowed. It just feels bad when you read a rule, think you get what it means and turns out, you didn't.

Wait, would my Command: Backup! be breaking the rules? I mean it summons minions, but it's not a mere "summon X minion". It's "summon two X minions on either side of a friendly minion", so it's not merely skirting around the rules.
Yes, unfortunately that is one of the violations, and I don't feel it's a particularly dubious one. Literally all the spell does is summon two minions for you. I feel bad for not being more meticulous is my initial reviews of every entry, but at the same time 41 entries still managed to abide by the challenge, and so it wouldn't be fair to them to advance any that didn't. =/
    Quote from ZardozSpeaks >>
Yeah, some entries are tricky. It depends whether you'd count something like Polymorph as "primarily" creating a minion. I'd say that's not the actual point of the polymorph spell, just a secondary effect.
No no, I wouldn't count anything like that. Transform effects are usually buffs or debuffs. They definitely don't summon anything, which was the stipulation brought up as part of the challenge. I also haven't disqualified cards that add minions to your hand or shuffle them into your deck; I'm kind of side-eyeing those a bit, but they don't summon minions and thus don't break the rules. I also haven't disqualified anything that summoned something for your opponent, because those are being used as secondary downsides to other primary effects, as I clarified early on in this Discussion Topic.
Dang, so what, am I disqualified?
I read that part of the rule but I thought it was simply to prevent people from saying "I wanted to include X minion, so I'll just wrap it up in a spell to cheat the system"
