I get a good curve I win I get a bad curve I lose. My opponent floods the board: I get aoe I win I don't get aoe I lose.
What happens when you get a good curve and the opponent floods the board and you don't get AoE? Or when you get a bad curve and your opponent floods the board but you do get AoE?
The curve problem is not luck/RNG, because you chose the curve when you designed your deck. There's a reason why aggro decks are much more consistent than other decks.
Similarly, you chose the amount of AoEs in your deck (or AoE equivalents, like taunts).
It sounds like your problem is meta positioning, rather than the luck of the draw. (Of course I'm not saying that luck is entirely irrelevant though. You win some, you lose some.)

Class: Gotham Vigilante
Hero: Bruce Wayne/Batman
Set: Basic
G
Game Mechanic Changes:
When swapping to a different hero if you have used that hero before it retains its previous Armor and Health totals.
Weapons are no longer destroyed when changing heroes but they can be replaced if the new hero holds one innately like Jaraxxus.
Hero Power Clarification:
Bruce Wayne to Batman - Happens during the attack like Truesilver Champion.
Batman to Bruce Wayne - Happens as the spell is cast and before it resolves.
Designing a Basic set should be able creating staples to introduce theme and iconic cards that create instant recognition of the class.
Batmobile is intended to show how vehicles will be working for the class. To represent the armor bonus, all vehicles will have divine shield. Also designed as a game ending "bomb", the Batmobile powers both itself and Batman to victory.
Grappling Hook is an iconic Batman weapon. Designed to help both Batman and his minions get past the opponents defenses.
Wayne Enterprises was designed to represent both defensive base of operations and a place of research for Bruce Wayne.
The first 3 cards are Bruce Wayne aligned but Solicitor is the first card that blends into both territory - designed to enable Bruce Wayne to become Batman without the need for a weapon.
Mana Servants is designed to fit in the 1 mana 1/3 staple design space. A conditional card draw mechanic which will make you want to switch back to Bruce Wayne for the card advantage.
Event Organiser is themed about the parties Bruce Wayne throws and a way to trigger a swap to Bruce Wayne.
Batarang had to be in the basic set. It's Batman's iconic weapon and a way to trigger Batman every turn.
Henchmen are an example of a minion that "anger" Batman, increasing his number of attacks per turn - crucial for a weapons based class.
Invest is an introduction to the classes secondary theme - "your next turn". For the sacrifice of spending mana this turn you get a bigger pay off next turn. Future sets use this mechanic for Bruce Wayne themed cards alot.
The last card was designed to be a strong card. Batman and Bruce Wayne have low health pools and the healing mechanic of Double Life requires planning to "combo off" a life reset for both personas. Batman being a weapon based class can lose a lot of life through attacking minions so this intended to balance that as well.
I hope you like my basic set. The classic set will provide better themed minions for Batman (Deathrattle > Batman, Battlecry > Bruce Wayne) and the first legendary card - Robin!
Hope to see you again soon!

Class: Gotham Vigilante
Hero: Bruce Wayne/Batman
There is currently no rules in game about swapping back and forth between 2 characters, for example we do not know what happens if Jaraxxus turned back into Gul'dan. So I am going to make the ruling here:
When swapping to a different hero if you have used that hero before it retains its previous Armor and Health totals.
Secondly, weapons are no longer destroyed when changing heroes but they can be replaced if the new hero holds one innately like Jaraxxus.
Now with that out the way, Bruce Wayne/Batman's hero powers allow him to swap between his personas depending what the player does. Weapon attacks (or any hero attacks) transform the player to Batman and any spells cast return him back to Bruce Wayne. (Also, for the purposes of effects like Inspire, swapping heroes in this fashion counts as activating a hero power.)
Because of this interaction, weapons for this class are themed towards Batman and spells are themed towards Bruce Wayne. Lets take 2 examples:
As a result of these 2 themes, you will not see a spell that "Assassinates" but you could see cards show the power of money such as research or political influences. Weapons are all simply bat-gadgetry.
So what about basic minions you may ask? Sure Legendaries are pretty easy for comic book character - but simple minions are a little trickier. Here is an example:
Class minions, like spells and weapons, are to be aligned with personas too. The above example, Love Interest is aligned with Batman. Batman aligned minions could also be enemies/goons that anger him or a bat-vehicle. Bruce Wayne aligned minions can be police, lawyers or any general "do-gooder".
Buffs like the one explained above do not effect personas that are not currently active. So if you weren't Batman, the Battlecry would simply have no effect. This added complexity is part of managing his 2 natures.
So you are probably wondering how this Hero would develop through the expansions? Initially it would be about setting up the Batman essentials, like the Batarang above. Cards gained through Adventures would focus on bad guys that match the theme. GVG will have the most complicated bat weaponry/machinery and The Grand Tournament would be about "being a symbol" for Gotham.
Please vote if you'd like to see me in future phases!

Mistcaller has two problems. It's a 4/4 for 6 mana that only pays off over long games - and it destroys the souls of cards, because if you change the power and toughness of cards it loses its soul (thats why Warsong Commander is still a 2/3).

Won 5 games to get me some 60g quiet easily. Nothing got close to killing me and pulled off huge damage combo twice in those 5 games as well. Very amusing - have an upvote.

Condolences. I can't say I've ever heard of a good story of people making "friends" in hearthstone this way.

I do not recommend this deck. I am fond of my priest prowess and this deck simply does not work in this meta. Lost 5 games out of 5.

This is normal behaviour. This has been spoken about by Ben Brode himself when the interaction was shown during the Alpha.
When you are the Active player and hold a weapon -
Then you have an attack value -
Which means you attack minions back if they attack you -
Like from a misdirect.

Like playing a warrior with Deaths Bite with 1 hit left and might have execute? Or a priest that might have Shadow Word Death? Or Mage that might be holding Polymorph?
How does BGH differ from any other removal that a player will hold back to kill a late game drop?
