Only reason TBK isn't used nowadays is because the biggest taunt minion most decks will have is Sludge Belcher, and you can see why that wouldn't work out very well for TBK. Should the meta slow down from aggro-midrange to midrange-control (likely given the direction of the currently released cards for this expansion), then bigger taunts (like this) become more appealing and thus TBK also becomes more appealing. He'll always be most relevant right when you'd want him, the benefit of being a tech card.
Plus he's a hard check that helps prevent cards like this from ever really dominating. Can't build a deck around a massive Taunt creature and expect it to be tier 1 with such an efficient answer to your play existing as a neutral. Exactly the same case made with BGH and anything over 6 attack nowadays.

What if they are all frozen (enemy hero included)?

People are forgetting the obvious. This is going to make silence way more powerful for rogues. Cloning the Ironbeak Owl.
Also anything with a decent deathrattle wins here as well.
Don't think Ysera or Yogg-Saron, Hope's End or similarily priced fat cards. Shadowcaster is better for the lower mana cards that you don't care for the body. This is better as rogues are not really known for going long game control.
Good cards to clone with Shadowcaster are:
Ironbeak Owl for more silence
Patient Assassin for more kill cards
Edwin VanCleef at only a 1/1 penalty
Xaril, Poisoned Mind for more cheap toxins
Sunfury Protector for more taunt
Acidic Swamp Ooze vs weapon users
Big Game Hunter for obvious reasons
Saboteur good vs control warriors and other HP heavy decks
Defender of Argus for obvious reasons
Master of Disguise very situational to clone this but it might be useful
Loatheb vs certain classes this would a great card to clone
Shattered Sun Cleric Nice cheap small boost to another minion
Reno Jackson this kind of end game cancer is enabled again by Shadowcaster unfortunately
The Black Knight for taunt heavey metas
Cairne Bloodhoof for a nice cheap Yeti
Sylvanas Windrunner for obsious reasons. Just watch out the clone is not priest stolen
Ragnaros the Firelord for obvious reasons
Shadowcaster is all about cards where you don't give a [insert profanity of your own choice] about the initial body. This is a battlecry/deathrattle/end of turn ability cloner.

Both are just vanity content. You need neither to have a full game experience.

If you are all ok with this cardback existing then you are a hypocrite for hating on the iOS promotion.
Many of you are ok with a Samsung only promotion but hate an iOS only promotion.
Looks like this more more about being anti Apple then it is about equality for access to all promotions.

Love the throw back to the Faceless Manipulator using a 3 cost minion to remind us of the base 3/3 that Faceless Manipulator is.

Slow as a snail. Silenceable, no immedate effect. Can break decks if that’s at the end of your deck. Most dragons are higher end, well the ones you want with DW2 are. Midrange dragon decks will not use DW2. This means rush decks will wrek you.
Also the name of Deathwing is not so inspired.
Also the art of this Deathwing is bad. Well the ard of standard old Deathwing is bad too. Golden old Deathwing looks amazing though. (I know I got golden old Deathwing in a pack). I want to see what golden new Deathwing looks like

This just prevents being forced to use Auchenai Soulpriest to do the Circle of Healing board clear. Also this now allows a T2 priest board clear. Totally an anti aggro card.
Also it allows a player to use Flash Heal, Zombie Chow, Corrupted Healbot and others for even more damage when on your turn.

People here forget one thing Soggoth the Slitherer is not killed by silence. It's still a 5/9. The more important is silencing Soggoth the Slitherer is that it's one silence baited out. At this point in the game probably your last silence. Next turn then a bigger nastier can be put out silence free.
Also if you silence a Priest or Druid Soggoth the Slitherer they will just buff it up next turn and wrek you. Actually any class can re apply the taunt to this card if it lives. Of cause The Black Knight wreks this, but past this, if you silence Soggoth the Slitherer, you'd better be on a lethal turn or killing Soggoth the Slitherer on the same turn. Keeping a silenced Soggoth the Slitherer alive for a few turns could be disaster for you once they buff it up.
