People here forget one thing Soggoth the Slitherer is not killed by silence. It's still a 5/9. The more important is silencing Soggoth the Slitherer is that it's one silence baited out. At this point in the game probably your last silence. Next turn then a bigger nastier can be put out silence free.
Also if you silence a Priest or Druid Soggoth the Slitherer they will just buff it up next turn and wrek you. Actually any class can re apply the taunt to this card if it lives. Of cause The Black Knight wreks this, but past this, if you silence Soggoth the Slitherer, you'd better be on a lethal turn or killing Soggoth the Slitherer on the same turn. Keeping a silenced Soggoth the Slitherer alive for a few turns could be disaster for you once they buff it up.
If you did that, I would instantly say thank you for a successful bait out of your silence and next turn put something nasty down you wish you had that silence for.
Spells to your face counter this. If you don't have much health, this minion will do nothing from a few spells to the face to make you lose. You need some health (ideally at least 10-15) to make this minion worth it. Enough health to be out of the spell death range.
Pyro and other spells to the face remove it by killing the enemy hero first. This card if in the meta will only force player to focus more on spell win conditions.
The best use for this as mantioned over and over here is a same turn 4 health, two card enemy board clear. Of cause shields and deathrattle are a counter to this but you can work around that. I do think a 7 damage minion used as a board clear is expensive if a 7 damage minion is not needed. Still if you need the 7 damage aoe this is good to have.

17 damage beats Gahz'rilla any day of the week though. Even as a charged Gahz'rilla.

I would argue the best class 6 drop is Fire Elemental.

In normal it might live longer. Who knows.

Call of the Wild makes Tundra Rhino much more powerful. Late game if Taundra Rhino lives a turn (at 10 mana), then you have 17 damage to attack with.
Buffed Tundra Rhino = 3
Buffed Huffer = 5
Buffed Misha= 5
Leokk = 2
Hero Power = 2
Total damage that turn = 17
3
Steward of Darkshire + Twilight Drake OR Faceless Shambler = fun.

So you can get rid of it once it's silenced. If it's 0/1 base you'd not be able to kill it off.

If you hate overload then don't use this card. Most of the decent Shaman spells have overload.
