This is pretty exciting! Once all cards are owned of a particular rarity you can then disenchant one card of that set to try and open a golden version if you’re into golden collecting like me =D

The dust you received on launch was the HoF award and you can keep the cards. 

You can dust the cards if you feel you won’t play them but they will be at normal dust rates and you will not keep them.

It looks more like it’s out of ahn'qiraj. Which would speak more to the old gods influence and I still think one of the later expansions this year will feature the return of some old gods like N’Zoth 

Not sure how Mecha'thun is gonna survive the rotation honestly. I mean, warlock can’t play it anymore because no Bloodbloom or Cataclysm. The priest version has always been mediocre at best and is also losing the activator withTicking Abomination. And Druid is losing Naturalize

Honestly unless new control and activator cards are added Mecha'thun is dead already. 

But as far as the new bomb cards are concerned I think they’re just intended to create a time bomb effect and support a new archetype. 

Or just be patient because with the drip feed schedule and pre release dates we only have to wait 10 days to know all the cards. 

This is is a vast improvement over the olden days when they would announce the expansion a month or a month and a half before release (without supplying us with a date) and then painfully slowly release drips up until a week or two before. Then we’d have to wait that long knowing all the cards before we could play them. 

TLDR; get off my lawn young whipper snappers!

Set release.

There was a glitch where players were receiving the golden cards right away but they were improperly indexed since the new set hasn’t been patched into the game and therefore not real cards. 

They shut down the shop temporarily to fix. After it’s back up you should only get the new hero portrait and the cards upon release. 

That’s my guess at least. Not being a blizzard employee take my word only as opinion 

what even is your point?  does the gender of a character on a card really matter

 The truth is that the salty people in this thread are jealous because they are unemployed or stacking shelves for the n'th year.

Right now Krip has 16k viewers of hearthstone. And hearthstone has 50k viewers. For sure this for krip is a lie.

For the record, I'm not quitting casting. I hope to still pursue some casting on the side while working on the design team. :)

Final Design is primarily balance related, so the requirements were strong communication skills and Hearthstone gameplay. I have a BA in Broadcast Communication and 5 years of competitive Hearthstone experience, so I fit the bill pretty well. It will certainly be a learning process, but that's why I'm starting as an Associate and will have to work my way up. 

Dude why are you posting negative comments under every post on this site? If you hate Hearthstone so much just stop playing it or seat quietly and let others enjoy it ☺ Also in my opinion Blizzard is doing a realy good job right now... Maybe I am not a professional designer/developer but I can imagine how hard it is t balance a game with hundereds of cards... There will always be weaker and stronger ones and devs can't change a couple of cards each week cuz they are too strong or too weak. Moreover, Blizzard probably works hard on the next expansion now 😁

I love all people here who think they know what Blizz requires of a game designer and think they would do it better. Its the same people who watches a hockey game and knows exactly what they would have done. Stop hating and enjoy the game instead.

Its totally newsworthy and I look forward to what Hearthstone has coming in the future.
