I made some minor balance changes. Took out the health related effects. Now it is like a nourish/ shadowform combo with Death Knight flavour. Very slow card, with great value.
My first ever submission. Introducing the "Subclass" concept. What do you think? Any balance issues? Without further adoo:
New Hero Power and Token:
Death Knight Cards:
I think this is a little bit too powerful. It is very similar to Lord Jaraxxus, so they should be compared. Since this is a neutral card, it needs to be weaker. Yours costs 1 less, which is pretty important because it means your hero power can be used on the same turn that you cast it. It also gives you 5 more health when you use it. Plus, yours adds 3 cards to your hand. In total, it is a lot more powerful than Jaraxxus. I think it should cost 10, for starters. If you want to add the cards to your hand, it should make you discard cards to compensate. And it should also give you less health.
Not sure I agree. The strength of jaraxxus, is in his weapon and hero power, which comes pre-equipped, this is more like a flavourful Lay on Hands. It could be a bigger heal, but it could also be worse, the hero power is only slightly stronger than base hero powers. So using it the same turn is almost worse than a 2-drop. This also doesn't replace your starting hero, just modifies, like shadowform. Ultimately, the cap of health at 20, probably hurts more here, than the cap of 15 for jaraxxus. Not to mention, you will likely want to become a Death Knight as soon as you get to turn 8, as you deck will be built around the hero power and card synergy, so the health will likely be more of a wash.
I can't believe no one has mentioned the power of 0 - drops in this brawl. Everyone is stacking their decks with all the big drops and a simple curve. I am destroying everyone with my decks. Here is an example:
The power of this deck is in the Mulligan for 0 - drops like Target Dummy, Molten Giant, and Inner Rage. There is no need for card draw in this brawl. It is all about creating too much tempo for any other deck to defeat.
My Dragon Priest deck wins like 90%, not because its a net deck, but because when I get a 0 mana Circle to heal my already OP starting board the other decks just can't keep up.
I also find that Dragon decks work for most classes as Twilight Guardian is one of the best 4 drops if it is guaranteed to proc. With every big mana dragon that is useful in the deck, it is nearly impossible to not get one in your starting hand. My tempo dragon shaman uses this mix of 0 - drop and dragon tempo as well.
Day 2 or 3 of TGT Noxious played 3 games with a poisoned blade sideshow spell eater deck. Went 3 for 3, thought it was a fluke, and "retired" the deck.
Surprised you don't have a Sideshow Spelleater or two in a Poisoned Blade deck. If you plan on finishing the game with the poisoned blade, sideshow spelleater is excellent. You get a useful hero power for the rest of the game. I would replace 2 Ogre Ninja and grab 2x Sideshow Spelleater.
Wow, looked at bit closer at the deck and realized I am an idiot. This deck is PERFECT, just as it is.
I will keep that in mind. I still want to test Boneguard as it is a really great target for a health boost. As once the health is increased, it becomes exceedingly hard to remove and is one of the key cards for the confuse combo as its health increase has no cap. Hopefully its survivablility is higher than expected as compared to many other targets in this deck it is a lower priority. In fact its slowness is part of why I like it for this deck, as it can be a major win condition later in the game. If it fails to perform as I hope though, it will be cut pretty fast. And at that point, I might just move away from inspire as a theme of the deck as well.
^ This. I love Kripp and Noxious. They are my favorite steamers and players. They are clearly not the best Constructed players, but both of them could reach legend if they had any desire to do so. The fact that they don't care about grinding and grinding to achieve something that validates their skill and just love to have fun and explore the crazy things that can happen makes them entertaining. Its also the reason I enjoy them so much.
Not sure why people jump to the conclusion that because someone doesn't enjoy the grinding involved with competitive constructive play that nothing they say can be taken seriously. Besides if you actually listened to the video he never said "No one should buy packs." He said IF you are the kind of player that prefers to play for free, don't feel the need to buy a gazillion packs to stay competitive. That was his main point. Most people saying he is salty over the poor cards in this expansion clearly didn't watch the video or any of his other videos. He is pumped for the expansion. And why wouldn't he be, it is by far the biggest fuel for his livelihood. I mean now he can continue his "How good is ****" series for months. And I will watch them all, because he is entertaining, and good ENOUGH.
Also I find it funny that people say "just play for fun" as if it is an argument against Kripp's point. When that is probably one of his number 1 hearthstone mantras.
The idea behind this deck is not to hero power for the sake of the inspire just whenever, it is to inspire when it make the most sense for tempo (when it means you can get a favorable trade where your minion survives and is likely to continue surviving). As with any inspire deck, one of the key ways to win is to maximize hero power value while still playing on curve. It may yet mean that confessor paletress is not good enough, but I am going to test it anyway. Ysera might be a better fit, what with its 12 health.
As for Auchenai Soulpriest. The goal of this deck is not to use it for burn. The Auchenai is in there as a tempo removal piece. Auchenai Flash Heal/Light of the Naaru/Circle of healing are some of the highest tempo removals available to priest (and they work against 4 attack creatures).
All that being said, I am sure there will still need to be tweaks.

Not sure I entirely agree

You should put a faceless manipulator in as your 5 drop, that way you can copy the warleader or old murk eye

Try it. It's fun to destroy.

I have been having a lot of success with this deck that I put together. I find it even wins decently without AC.
My deck write up is coming soon.

Anyone watch Noxious go 3 for 3 with his poisoned blade rogue? He used sideshow to make his HP not useless. Was really fun

I would put him in for a kodorider. Care to check out my inspire combo priest?

I think you will get more milage out of one turn of Velen then 1 turn with Kodorider.
