well the best way to get to know this kind of things is...trying it xD. just do it without thinking, try it and then you'll know for sure.

Megapumpkin posted a message on how good is doomsayer in renolock?Posted in: WarlockFunnily enough, I was thinking the exact same thing. Doomsayer seems like a pretty good card in renolock since it can be a pseudo board clear or pseudo taunt and can eat silences and be taunted up late game post silence. Will try it out and get back to ya!
However, one problem is that I don't know what to take out for doomsayer. Seems like all my cards are already darn good!

prophit618 posted a message on How veliant is handlock on jarraxus?Posted in: WarlockI don't think Alex is really a win condition on her own, more of a setup. Rag is a good option as mentioned above, and Ysera is always a decent choice.
In my opinion Jaraxxus isn't necessary, but it does give a huge bump in power level, and you will definitely find him worth the investment if you enjoy Handlock even without him.

iandakar posted a message on y does no one plays Coliseum?Posted in: General DiscussionIt's the 6 mana that creates teh situation everyone is declaring.
Coliseum is horrible vs combo/control as they'll only have one big minion they care about and coliseum won't remove that. If you see 2-3 big boys you could remove, you're probably dead or close enough were leaving one behind will finish you off.
Coliseum is bad vs Tempo since it leaves a minion up and kills your board as well, which means you aren't stealing tempo away, which is good enough for yoru opponent to keep chugging.
The card is GREAT vs aggro since keeeping that 4 attack minion and removing the 4-5 1-3 attackers is awesome. 6 mana, though, means that the card is too late to save you vs aggro.
It's pretty good vs Midrange, but I'm not sure Paladin really needs yet another anti-midrange tool that doesn't work anywhere else.
Thus the problem with the card.

eviltwin94 posted a message on Tempo Mage, I dont get itPosted in: MageQuote from eviltwin94 >>mech mage is the cheap unskilled deck for mage. Usually wins because its so fast that you cant do nothing about it, and they kill you with damage spells to face. They suffer if you can clean mechs in the first 4 turns, usually they ran out of fuel and end up loosing.
Tempo mage is more skilled because you need to think ahead, and is stronger because it can be a great oponnent against everything. But have more RNG factor(depends of the version, for example casino mage is a joke deck on HS, fun to play tho), and if you have bad draws agaisnt a strong start, you may be screwed.
While I agree with the first part that mech mage is unskilled and can be completely shut down with aoe, I don't think tempo mage requires better draw. A tempo mage getting a bad mulligan is fine against non tempo/aggro decks because their late game is good enough to stand toe to toe with control (for a while at least), but if a mech mage misses early game, they are completely screwed.
But if Tempo mage dont curve well, they are really screwed. The only case when they stand a chance is against control because they stall early game. For example, if you dont have removal spells in the first 5 turns agains midrange decks and aggro decks(wich is more likely to be found in meta today) you loose your game around turn 6/7.
Still, i get your point and agree with you, but i still think RNG influenciate to much for my taste in tempo mage.

Lich King can be replaced by Ysera but they don't exactly fulfill the same role.

Ideally Amara is your greater healing potion, I would not suggest fitting the potion in because this deck is already way too heavy on 4's.

Yeah N'zoth dragon is the other kind of control dragon warrior, but I don't like it since you can't play too many dragon synergy cards to make room for deathrattle cards. That does not make it worse though, it's a matter of preference.

Hi all,
This is a rather strange deck I made that I have had moderate success with, although I would like to hear your guys' opinion on whether it is any good. Thoughts?
The reason why the deck has mana wyrm and mirror image in it, other than to improve early game, was that in an earlier version of this deck which was a lot more top heavy I found rhonin to be milling me whenever I play it, so I added some tempo mage element to empty my hand early and refill it later. Arcane intellect is missing for the same reason, I find there to be enough late game and card draw as is.
Cheers,

I have been experiencing this for a while now, HS would randomly lag or disconnect me from my game. This hasn't happened until a few weeks ago, and my Internet is pretty good (good enough to run 3 1080p videos at the same time) so that is not the problem. Does anyone has some idea on what's going on?
Thanks,

So conflicted on whether this card is good or not in the current meta; on one hand warrior, rogue and paladin all become less weapon reliant; but on the other hand destroying a doomhammer instantly wins the game...

This is pure gold LOL

I have heard people saying that renolock is objectively better (or almost objectively better) than handlock, but I can't remember where that came from.
So I wonder what is the general public's opinion on comparison between these 2 decks?

a "show only owned golden cards" option would also be nice for those of us that don't pay hundreds of dollars and want to get rid of golden cards.
