Yet it seems so far to be the most playable mini set of all time. Only ever usually a very small number of playable cards. People always seem to forget that. Also - this mini set is incredibly fun. Go cry about something else.

Thats extremely false. There are 36 locations alone. 42 heroes. 42 ultimate abilities that can become cards. They all have passives and non ultimate abilities. It could easily be an expansion on its own.

That's not true, they've always sold 2 types of Skin bundles
Skin+5 Packs for 10€ and Skin+5 Packs+Cardback for 15€ the last batch of skins, Kel and Vash, didn't have the Cardback meanwhile Elise does, there's no increase its literally the same
The thing that drives me up the walls the most is that they said that they wouldn't make prices that can't be fit properly in the available bundle sizes, and yet literally the very first batch of prices they add, they are selling battlegrounds hero skins for 150 runestones, with the lowest bundle size being 500 runestones...
Like literally the very first batch of items, they already apply the predatory pricing that everyone was worried about and that they said they wouldn't do, it's just insane to me...As for BG skins, they used to be sold in packs of 15€ for 8 of them or 20€ for 7+1 Bartender Skin, which means that the lowest amount of money you needed to spend for 1 single skin you wanted (never mind not liking the resr of the skins) was indeed 15€
With skimds being 150 Runestones, the treshold to not having leftovers runestones is 1500 (15€) which would net you 10 skins of your choice, that's a 20% increase in skins PLUS the ability to chose the ones you want compared to having to stick with a bundle, and since you were forced to buy the bundle having the option to buy 1500 runestones is exactly the same but with added benefits
Hate it all you want but that's not a good reason to do so

And if you look at the last graph, they have priced the rune packes in such a way that any usual purchase you would make can be done 1:1 with a common package of Runestones.
So, this is not an issue right now, unless you get suckered into buying an emote for whatever small amount of Runestones. but then you are asking for this problem with your purchase behaviour, not by some big evil corporate plan.

2. We used to get 0 battlegrounds skins in the battle pass so they are not replacing anything, in fact we used to get NOTHING on those slots, making the paid track kinda lame since all you got was a diamond card, a coin skin and like 7 hero skins...
HOWEVER, at first i did think this Paid track was kinda lacking this time since we only got 10 skins (1 for each class)... Looking at sunken track city we got 12 (shaman and druid got 2), but i guess this expansion we are getting 2 epic cards instead so that balances out? we did get 13 hero skins in the alterac valley and stormwind rewards track but they were doing those rank 1, 2 , 3 hero skins for each mercenary and i think most people can agree those kinda sucked since all you got were 4 different skins for 3 classes and 1 "full" skin for a random class.
i think this paid track is better than the stormwind/alterac valley but not better than the Sunken city one, not a fan of the 2 epic cards replacing 2 hero skins too. But thats for me, i believe for most players getting those 2 epics are going to be more value than 2 skins they might never use, another thing i find strange is the "full" hero skin this time around is a warrior skin, the same as the pre-purchase bundle, and they look very similar too...
TL:DR i think OP is full of shit and this paid track has some amazing skins, but i dont think its as good as the sunken city one and value is subjective for different people - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

You get one "pull" for free, 10 bucks gives you two more "pulls" and after paying every top4 win gives you another "pull". So 10 bucks + 7 top4 wins gets you everything, which makes this a pretty good deal if you ask me.

How are they even remotely similar?
In Snap each game has 3 location of which you have to capture 2 (by playing cards there) to win the game after 6 turns. At the first 3 turns one of the location gets revealed and they either have a passive or one time effect
Here locations must be drawn and played at a cost. All of them have active effect that can only be used a limited ammount of time and have a one turn cooldown between uses. The only thing they have in common is that they feature locations in their artwork and that it's harder to interact with them (with other cards). Both of which is fairly standard stuff in most card games.

Some Constructed and BG portraits appeared in mercs pve encounters with the latest X.4 patch. It's unknown wether it's a feature or a bug...or both.

They already announced in the Year of the Hydra post that they shifted most of the merc focus to X.4 patches, similar to how X.2 patches focus on Battlegrounds. The patch is confirmed to launch once the current N'zoth event is over on May 31.

Instead of Disenchanting a legendary for 400 dust and crafting a golden legendary for 3200 you can now just upgrade your regular legendary for 1600, saving you 1200 dust for example.
