posted a message on A curious phenomenon...to me at least.

With the little time I have at my hands (being adult and having tons of shit to do every day Q_Q) I know I will never reach legend or have enough time for a tourney, so conceding to jump into queue again is not as appealing as trying to win the match I'm already in, I hope for my opponent to be inneficient, incompetent or simply miss his/her chance to win so I turn the game around, it's just something I got used to when playing magic, you lose only when YOU LOSE, if you have 1 hp left you're still able to win.

Well, she kinda did, depends on what you think is best, being a ball of emo-like hermits or a ball of eternal demigods in the elemental realms but under the influence of otherwordly elementals/gods.  (I would pick the second every time).

Complaining about jade druid and im facing 24/7 mono pirate warriors on rank 3 currently

So fun. reno t6 or no reno t6

Jade druid is far more fun to play against then full power face smorc explosions

You would love to play against "red deck wins" or "simic infect" aggro decks then, turn 3 wins ;3

metas has cycles, read about it, it's  common in card games. People complaining about the state of the game right now can be good players inside HS but doesn't know much about card games as a whole.

posted a message on Fixing the broken cancer meta: quitting HS Play Mode.

You seem to play a lot of hearthstone but few understaing of what a card game is.

Welcome to rotations: There are 2 types of sets, a rotating set and a complementary set.

Rotating set: This set is designed to propose new archetypes and keywords since many are removed during the rotation, it is usually a large set.

Complementary set: As of now, adventures in HS are used as the complementary set, this ones are designed to propose meta swings, extend existing mechanics or be the starting road for new incoming deck shells. Gadgetzan seems to be this kind of set, it brought many support cards to make ignored shells be usable (maybe not completely, sadly) it helped prepare the ground for future shells (look at some of the shaman cards, the look at some karazhan shaman cards and you will see a tendency to promote control shaman in the future sets).

That said, when a set is released the game always has to roll through a series of changes, this happens in all other card games I've played during my life so I don't see why HS would be different:

    - Set released.
    - Players seek the fastest decks possible to win during the turmoil.
    - Midrange decks appear to slow down the meta.
    - Control decks appear to stabilize the meta.
    - Players try to make new combos develope the combo decks.
    - This is your new meta, after 'round a month, almost 2, some times it takes longer. Bare in mind that only here you can judge how good or bad the set was because if the meta gets stuck in one of the phases then there is something wrong with the card pool, and is the dev's responsability to fix it.

posted a message on C'Thun and MSG

The C'thun buffs are a global bonus, independant from anything else in the game, you can add the bonus stats without even having a c'thun (effectively triggering the +10 atkre c'thun quirement in some minions) So I don't see why any other buff will affect the global bonus or if the extra bonus will remain with C'thun when revived.

Agree with you except on the most crucial part: note that RNG is what makes a card game

No sir, sorry but no, there is a big difference between card drawing (wich is heavily altered in most card games and in all physical card games is a must) and card like yogg-saron wich give 0 control over what you have just played. Randomness in spells and summons are BAD for a card game, it makes you feel horrible when they don't hit and happy when they do, when the card should be like the "if it did" option 100% of the times, you are suppose to be in control of your deck, if not, why did you built it? But heavy RNG is what team5 use to balance this game, so, it's common to asume heavy randomization is okey in card games if HS is the only or one of the few card games someone have played.

posted a message on Sergeant Sally is a board clear with Rogue synergies

Sally is clearly a lot more useful in warlock with power overwhelming, 5 damage (10 to an specific minion) and only 2 cards.

The only reasonable option I see with rogue is what Andokai said, just because kobold is already a proxy card for malygos when.. eh, malygos don't appear.

posted a message on For the first time in HS history aggro will finally be dead!

but my impression is that Blizzard desperately forces a control meta.

And my impression is that blizz released those cards first to make people feel confortable with the expansion and direct the market to buy the product.

We have allready so much anti aggro tools and if this trend keeps on going until all cards are released there won´t be any aggro deck left on the ladder.

Aggro is completely needed, is what prevents excruciating LONG games, put the players at the edge of refining and without it, midrange will dominate. So pray for aggro to exist in a meta dominated by midrange shaman.

Thanks for your opinion, but it seems to be the byproduct of exactly what the marketing team wants the player base to think, I kudos to them for doing a good job this time around!

Kinda weird that its not a beast considering its just a hyena with a combover but still this is a great card

It's a Gnoll, and Gnolls are "humanoid" type in warcraft.

I would not waste silence on this card. By the way card have more synergy with warrior. Upcoming cards may bring more synergy for this card early to tell what is the value of this card.

Sure is not a GOOD target for purify, but is a good early control board card to prevent snowballing and if you don't hit a good silence target early you can silence him and draw a card. Not saying is a great idea, nor if  it will work for a meta deck, but is something cool to play test with :P

posted a message on A little bit disappointed with the new set
    Quote from WonderBoy9000 >>

There are a lot of great cards so far many of which are something new BUT:

Everyone of them is much weaker than:

Fiery War Axe, Fireball, Hex, Preparation, Innervate, Flame Imp, Tyrion Fordring and tons of other Classic and Basic Cards.

In M:tG they almost always had the expert expansion a power level higher than the basic set - so excitement was correlated to the power as well as the freshness of the cards.

What are you talking about? what "expert expansion" are you talking about?

There was a coreset designed for new players and the normal block (made of 3 sets) and then suplemental content for commander, from the vault, etc. The core set was never designed to be the baseline to compare the other sets of the year, but to introduce new players into the game, that's it.
Now that the coreset doesn't exist the clash and planeswalker decks are there to fill that spot.
TL;DR, you're supporting your opinion on wrong ideas.

posted a message on Tri-class system = No new Classes

The factions in this expac is pretty common in magic, they have 5 colors but for example, the "khans of tarkir" block depicted those colors in 5 different combinations in each set (each block has 3 sets... HAD, now only 2) in order to make sure the themes were easily identified and to narrow the space the players had so make the block feel more unique and to prevent going too wide in the design.

set 1: abzan, jeskai, sultai, temur and mardu, each one with 3 of the 5 colors
set 2: dromoka's wing, ojutai's wing, silumgar's wing, atarka's wing and kolaghan's wing, each with 1 main color and 2 "split" colors (like, this new kabal cards, your class in hunter, but you are able to play a shaman and a druid spell in the same card just that the card DEMANDS you to being able to pay a shaman or druid spell).
set 3: clan dromoka, clan ojutai, clan silumgar, clan atarka and clan kolaghan, each with only 2 colors, in the lore each dragonlord shuned the use of the third color for going against the "natural order of their wing, comply or die".

And every set has clans or tribes like this, fusing colors into groups. SO I think this is a great direction for hearthstone, they are clearly testing waters here, seeing if the idea catch on, and imo, it should, please, let it catch on.

    Quote from Rhyolth >>

Not too bad, i really like the concept of a 1/1 summoning a much bigger minion, as it is a very useful tech card to have against some secrets. (Snipe / Mirror Entity / Repentance).

Still, i wish the 1/1 had charge, (even if it meant summoning a slightly smaller "token") so you could use it against Freezing Trap as well. But i guess you can't have everything...

I would prefer if the 6/6 had taunt, considering he's a bodyguard and all that.

arena card, pretty good, in constructed it will not see play in competetive decks because evolve shaman has better plays than this and might not even be any good, hasn't ever been meta before.

Just like shaman in general hasn't been meta since the beginning of the game, but hey, look at standard now ;)

So, that's just a bad excuse.
