Pyroblast is better in my (and LaughingHS's, for what it's worth) opinion, mainly because it doesn't need to be combined with anything to deal damage.
You'd need to cast 2 spells with Antonidas on board for it to out damage Pyroblast, and we don't have the cheap spells that Tempo Mage does to ensure we get two or more fireballs before he inevitably gets killed on the next turn. You also can't afford to depend on Thaurissan ticks, since even if you do end up drawing him, you might want to save some of your spells.
All that said, he's definitely not terrible and easily the best substitution if you don't have a Pyroblast and want to try the deck.

What are your best/worst matchups?
1
Replaced pyro with antonidas (cause i dont have it). Is it viable?

Im gonna try this, looks good.

So, even though I stopped playing Hearthstone a long while back, my friend still plays it actively, and today after school I came over to his house. He had just shown me Noxious' "Ultimate Arena Drafting Guide," and this conversation ensued after he opened up HS...
Him: "Oh, I drafted this Warlock arena run a few days ago..."
Me: "Alright, play it, then."
Him: "..."
Me: "...? What?"
Him: "Man, I don't want to play this deck... Alright, I'm retiring! Let's go! Noxious strat!"
Me: "Wait, what? No, don't do that!"
Him: "Hah! I've done it!"
Me: "Alright, well... let's see what you get."
*opens 30 gold and a Classic pack*
Him: "Hah, I only lost 20 gold--"
Me: "--and you got to draft too, which is your favorite part of playing Arena."
Him: "Exactly! Value! All right, let's see what we get in this pack..."
Me: "Hey, can I open it instead? I haven't played Hearthstone in a while, so..."
Him: "Okay, here you go."
Me: "Watch, I'll probably open up some really insane pack..."
*clicks a card*
Both: "WOOOAH!!!"
Both: "..."
*cue laughter*
Me: "Oh my God, it would be..."
Him: "Wait, wait, wait, keep going..."
*clicks another card*
Both: "WOAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
Both: "..."
*cue ROFL* (I actually rolled on the floor)
That was probably the funniest Hearthstone moment I've ever experienced, long after I quit playing Hearthstone... Just wanted to share this. xD
And for the record, he already owned a Lorewalker Cho... Now he's refusing to dust any of the three. Not now, at least.

indie company strikes again. cheap enough to cut a pack from players because of their mistake. well played blizz

at last Deathwing is coming!

Dude you played so wrong. Why didn't you kill the charger?
2
Yes. I wrote that BUT for an example everyone feels comfortable with an eater of secrets and you have 2 ice shield.
I never said this deck is easy to play or an autopilot deck. You have to learn how to play properly, think at least 1 turn ahead and always calculate damage you can do or done to yourself next turn.

Best matchups are shaman, paladin (especially secret), zoo and priest, rogue (especially deathrattle type).
Hunter is like between 40/60-50/50 (how fast they start and mulligan defines course of game), other mages can be pain in the ass if they can discover you are a freeze mage early.
Worst match up is Warrior as always. Only you can defeat aggro type. I saw only two Warrior after 5th rank and defeated one so I was lucky or they are out of meta in EU. If you see too much patron type you can tech with flame strike and anton but beware of armorsmith and berserker. Armorsmith is their main shield mechanic and berserker is a power house If they draw it early. Kill these two ASAP! (even you can throw a fireball).

Thx mate. Yeah playing freeze mage on the go is an absolute nightmare. I missed leathal couple of times because of little distruptions.
1
Freeze Mage is the best in this meta if you are experianced with it. On my way to legend I had the best winrate with torch freeze and the hardest matchups was hunters. Almost all hunter decks are equipped with flares and eater of secrets. You have to use your ice lances wisely to stop them from damaging your face and dont open two secrets at the sametime cause most people wont play eater of secrets to get max value.
Also for the priests. Anduin is my first golden hero and does pretty well against almost all decks but freeze eats them for breakfast.

It gets worse and worse with every release content. I dont understand how developers think. Crap total crap.

My first golden legendary missed those times

No cause Mr. Brody loves aggro meta!
