posted a message on Anyone else see entomb getting out of control in the future?

I think it is a strong card and makes control priest scary in some matchups.   However, HS is rock/paper/scissors at its core and their will always be hard counters to this type of deck.  I do agree that if the deck becomes more popular it will really limit the usefulness of control warrior for instance.

So, no I don't think it will get out of control and I like the card from the standpoint of giving a boost to the priest control archetype.  It needed it.

If you like fast decks, Zoolock is pretty tough right now.  I personally prefer demonlock but zoolock seems the better deck in the current meta.

Secret paladin is OP, I have a 74% win rate with it, but hate the deck and don't play it anymore.

If you like mid-range decks then consider Kolento's faster renolock with faceless/arcane golem, and no giants.

    Kolento's quicker combo renolock

Its pretty OP as fun to play as well.  Strifecro has been playing the hell out of it last few days

posted a message on secretdin is not broken

So I joined the secretadin clan this month.  According to my stat tracker I have a 74% win rate with the deck.  Thats over about 40 games.  Its real easy to play as other have pointed out.  Mainly just play it on curve and draw MC....win.  Aside from the high win rate, I really don't like playing the deck.  Very few strategic decisions need to be made, and this is why its the perfect deck for bots to run.  I have used it mainly to do daily quests and to comeback from a losing streak with other decks.  I used it from rank 18-8 or so.

In single digit ranks the deck is not as silly strong, but its still one of the top 4 decks out there.  So there's no argument that the deck is powerful. Is it too powerful?  Not sure really.  It has good and bad matchups, but even the bad matchups are winnable with a perfect curve.  MC needs a mana and/or stat adjustment in my opinion.  Maybe make it an 8 mana 6/6 or a 6 mana 6/3 (like Justicar)

posted a message on What's your favorite deck and least favorite deck to play against?

Favorite for me is Renolock.  I used to play a lot of regular handlock, but renolock is way more fun for me.

Least favorite to play against is probably secret paladin, but is followed closely by control priest.  STOP STEALING MY CARDs! :)

posted a message on Useable vs used cards

I find Highlander decks to be fun to play as the card variety is interesting to me.  That said, I would not play "worse" cards in a non-Highlander deck just to feed my ego or give me some sort of sense of accomplishment.   Boom is fun.  Screw Onyxia. lol  :)

Renolock is my current favorite.   I played a lot of handlock so I already liked the deck, but the Reno version is more fun due to the many different cards in the deck.

posted a message on OK so can we nerf Aggro Shaman please.... its 10x worse than facehunter or eboladin...

I have played two dozen games with aggro shaman.  I have a 60% winrate.  Ho-hum.  It was really strong a few weeks ago, I think I started out 8-2 with it,  but Reno warlock and control priest are all over the ladder now and kick the stuffing out of it.

posted a message on What are some good decks vs aggro shaman atm?

I have been teching in harrison in a few of my decks, he is almost insta win if you get him off against doomhammer.  I don't even care if it overdraws me, the doomhammer along with shaman cheap burn can kick your ass quick if you don't have a way to deal with it.

posted a message on Thoughts and opinions on OTK Murloc Paladin

I didn't read the whole thread - but I have been watching Strifecro play this deck the past two nights.   He has a positive win-rate with it, but its around 60% for him (and he is a top level tournament player) so its certainly not OP.  Win rates with Grim Patron before the nerf were routinely in the 70-75% range.

The combo is expensive and draw dependent.  Paladin has okay draw mechanics (lay on hands) but not crazy draw mechanics like Warrior has (which was another reason the warsong commander combo was so powerful).

So all in all, meh, it sucks to die from 30+ damage burst, but then it sucks to die to druid combo, oil rogue combo, freeze mage combo, etc.  This combo has not yet proven to be consistent enough to get all in huff about...

Would be pretty sneaky with a "stealth" spare part.  Way to inconsistent, but would be trollish if you got that combo out against a face hunter.  They would have no way to remove it.  I am laughing just thinking about it. :)

posted a message on Why people generally hate on aggro so much?

Meh.  Its the same old same old.  As others have pointed out there will always be aggro/control/midrange, or rock/paper/scissors.  Aggro is a playstyle.  Aggro decks have their good and bad matchups just like all decks.  Sure its not fun to lose (ever), but it stings when you feel like you never had a chance because the aggro player had perfect curve and you did not draw your answers, but its a just one game.  Be thankful it only took 3 minutes, and move on to the next game.

There is nothing new in this thread.

There is no defense for roping every turn.  Turn 1?  Rope?  That's the epitome of immaturity.

He could be in the middle of something else. If it takes me 30 seconds to clear the table, i'll do it during the turns where i don't need much decision making.
There is no rule that says one must be glued to the gaming device no-lifing it for the entire game.
This is a mobile game, people play it on the go. Some players have bad internet connections.
Just so many possibilities that i don't see how one can fault their opponent for maximizing the full turn.
Everybody ropes from time to time on early turns when they are afk, run to get a drink or take a piss.  I get that.  There is a big difference between this kind of behavior and simply roping every turn just because you can.  I hope you can see the difference...  Maximizing the full turn is not needed on 1 mana.  Ever.

I actually rope every turn and try to think of my turns ahead in time, sort of like Lifecoach. I see this as "stealing time from your opponents to decide your future turns" and yes, i rope on turn 1 if i have nothing to play. The deck i play or the deck my opponent plays does not matter to me, i take my time to play as efficient as possible.

I watch Lifecoach often.   He does not rope every turn.  Usually the first 1-3 turns he does what any sane human being would do and makes the obvious plays that limited mana allow.  He ropes in later turns as he is thinking out his moves.  I am totally fine with this type of behaviour.  If you rope turn 1, you need professional help.
