posted a message on Druid combo isn't op

Druid Combo is not OP.  Its P.  High P, but not OP.  It is however, overused, and very limiting for the design of future class cards.  Therefore, they will nerf savage roar with standard release.  So lets see how this shakes out.

posted a message on Aggro Shaman - does it need nerfing?

i played zoo this season. 7-1 against face shaman. Last season aggro druid and tempo mage, both with positive win rate against face shaman.

I think it does not need nerf,it has bad matchups and good matchups, like any other deck.

As stated before, refering to when the Standard Format comes out, not the current meta.
With standard we will also get the next expansion.  Which will contain cards.  We don't know what those cards will be, so its impossible to say which deck will be OP in the standard meta.   So we can't answer your question.
In current meta, its a good deck, but not in need of a nerf in my opinion.  Assuming the next expansion has replacements for healbot and sludge, the loss of crackle is actually a pretty big deal for this deck.  This deck wins with cheap burn.  Burn goes through taunts so its just as  important to deck as doomhammer.

Right.  A petition.  To remove a class from Arena.  Honestly, I assume you are joking, so good one dude...

I run......mech yeti.  *mind blown*.  Reasoning:  The spare part helps with antonidas and flamewaker.  Also sometimes can be a game winner outright depending on the part.  4/5 body trades well and usually gets a 2:1.

Piloted and water elemental are both good as well.  If you face a lot of weapon classes go water elemental.  If not, maybe go one of each for the utility.

I suppose it does have some value but it feels kinda odd to play a mechanical yeti in a deck that has no other mechs or mech synergy.
Piloted shredder is a mech as well.  No mech synergy with piloted shredder either - you are playing it because its a good card.  Same with Mech Yeti.  I like the Yeti's 5 health and the spare part better than the rng of Piloted.  Its a personal choice.  :)

lol.  Its free to play.  Nobody is getting "discriminated against".  Your hyperbole is over the top.  The introduction of standard is a natural evolution that has to happen in card based games.  Yes, blizzard is a for profit company.  They develop hearthstone to make money.  If you can't handle that concept for what its worth, move on to something else.

I have about $60 in this game.  It was worth every penny to me.  And I am in favor of the standard format as it gives new life to the game for me.  Your wall of text is not going to change my mind or make me feel bad for you or anyone else.

600 Euros?  Whats that in greenbacks?  Like $1000?  You paid $1000 into HS?  How is that even possible?  If you were going for a golden set, then what is the issue?  Your shiny golden cards are still in your "digital collection" for you to look at whenever you want (as they have no other use ever since the only difference is purely the "bling").

    First world problems....lol

No DE for me.  I plan to play mostly standard (really excited about the change), but I will keep the out of rotation cards for ad-hock tournaments and nostalgia sake.

posted a message on How to finally convince Blizzard to nerf Secret Paladin

Solution:  Play standard when it comes out in 2 months.  Avenge, shielded minibot, muster for battle - all gone.  Without those cards secret paladin is going to move down a tier or so.  It will still be an effective deck, but not OP anymore.  Enough about secret paladin already.  Get over it.

posted a message on How much gold do you have?

I have about 2800.  I usually have about this amount at this point between expansions.  I will pay for the next expansion with gold.  I have only been playing about 1 arena a week over the past month or so, so my gold accumulation is stagnant.

posted a message on Wild mode is a joke

The move to standard is the normal evolution of this type of game.  It has to happen.  Get over it.  Embrace it.  I am excited to play on standard where the powerful cards and decks will rotate out and be replaced by other cards and decks.  Its the future.  Its here.

Wild will eventually simply be an occasionally fun diversion.  Thats fine with me.

posted a message on Thalnos vs. Ysera

Like any of these questions - it comes down to which classes and kinds of decks do you play?  Mal'Ganis is a staple for Warlock and is used in both demonlock and mid-range demonzoo.  Ysera is great in lots of control decks as a secondary win condition, most usually in priest and warrior, but also in dragon decks for all classes.  Thalnos is a nice card, but used mostly in rogue and freeze mage.

My order would be Malganis first as I love warlock and could not play without him.   Ysera second, and Thalnos third (I have not yet crafted Thalnos and have no plans to)

posted a message on What your deck says about you

I can't really answer the poll because how I play (and probably applies to most of us) is a combination of many of the things on the list.  For me, I get my deck ideas watching my favorite streamers.  I find a deck that looks fun and copy the basic shell, then make a few (sometimes more than a few) tweaks to the deck and give it a try.  Then I tweak some more after playing for a bit.  Looking at my current 9 decks - 8 of them came about this way.  One of the decks is a legendary/reno only deck that I play for fun occasionally.

Also the question "what class are you using" is way too specific.  My 9 current decks cover 6 different classes.  Warlock is the only class that I play multiple decks with, and its my highest win total class, so I guess that is my answer.

posted a message on Upcoming "radical" solution concerning Secret Pally

MC should be a 6 mana 6/3, just like Justicar.  Problem solved without ruining the deck's core.  The 6/6 body is just silly for the mana cost given the battlecry.  Done and done.
