Exactly that! The darkmoon races and deadmines introduces quite some balance issues and Onyxias lair received a mixed reception, although Kazakusan arguably moved the meta in the right direction. So far it's only 1/4 mini sets that have significantly improved the meta from what it was before, likely correlated with that particular mini set (wailing caverns) followed a rather bad meta. It's too easy for a mini set to overly favor 1 deck type, which rarely makes a more diverse nor balanced meta.
Now we just got one of the most balanced and diverse meta's in years and barely gotten to explore nor refine the new viable decks. I love getting new cards, but I'm not exactly craving them at the moment.

So, there are some changes here that technically nerf wild cards (e.g. Catrina can only resurrect undead, and entertainingly the huge Black Knight buff should also count as it is losing a point of health)
Are we getting dust refunds on any of those?

UUU Death Knight feels completely unfair, and suspect that its consistency will give it better numbers than Evolve Shaman.
Evolve Shaman’s best draw of T2 premier 10 drop is impossible to beat, but it’s a 3 card combo and needs the coin to work.

On IOS, obviously now that March has dropped, I want to open my standard packs before new packs to maximise the chances of getting March cards. The client freezes every time I try to open a standard pack.
Anyone else hit this?
Edit: I tried opening a March pack and it works, but Standard packs are still b0rked. Annoying, in order to play with March today I’ll have to open my March packs first, which is definitely suboptimal :(

Has anyone cleared up what happens if you get a diamond and signature of the same card ?
1
I'd kinda hope you get to reroll the signature to a different signature then

Hmm - superficially it looks pretty awful, but if you do this against a full (or nearly full) board you're locking your opponent out for quite a while. I think this might be a lot better than it looks.

Fully expecting that on day 1 we'll see a 3 deck meta of utter brokenness: triple frost DK, triple unholy DK, triple blood DK and everything else getting trounced.
It will be amazing fun for 48 hours until literally everyone's either netdecked or given up then we'll all be screaming for nerfs.

Um, what is the point of having exclusive premium full art cards and then (a) removing all the color and (b) stamping a name banner right across the middle of the art?
I'd just about got over the initial garish horror of diamond cards and I've started to appreciate them now, but these I don't see myself ever feeling good about.

Even if the cards look mediocre at first, it's almost always worth buying the mini set - you only need one of the legendaries to be playable for it to be worth it, and meanwhile you've insured yourself against opening the bad legendaries in the set.
However, in terms of gameplay, I'm not seeing a lot to get excited about other than the mage cards. The two 'good' legendaries look like they're trying to keep you playing an actual game of hearthstone rather than annihilate the opponent's board or win on the spot, which is what top end stuff needs to do. So many of the mini set commons/rares are total filler.

Kinda wish they'd put in an "I can't be arsed with this, just give me the pack" button, or give you the pack for playing a game even if you lose. After hitting a run of bad luck, that's 15 minutes I won't be getting back.
