posted a message on Hearthstone Quest Update - Big Increase in Requirements and Lower Increase in Rewards

You can use rerolls to move all the quests to ones that you can get by messing around (like play battlecry minions, deal damage to enemy hero etc).  I did exactly this and have been playing the new BG stuff stress free.  The 15 win requirements are brutal and I would realistically not hit this without deliberately grinding for it - absolutely not what I'm looking for in a casual IPad card game.

Ridiculous change and I hope someone at Blizz gets a severe telling off

Prerelease cards that are uncraftable until release seems extra scummy - if the card is meta, this is pure P2W.  And Corridor Sleeper looks pretty damn good to me

No compensation for diamond Velarok seems a bit mean - card is pretty much gutted now

posted a message on Account Bans for Duels Exploiting - Tavern Tickets for Impacted Players!

This isn't messing a bit of messing around with a bug (e.g. playing a deck that exploits an unintentional card interaction), this is using third party tools to hoodwink the client into doing crazy stuff.  Players who show that they're willing to do that need to be gone.

It's refreshing to not have a variety of easy, cheap draw for each class. And there's not a ton of discover, which is nice. But instead of putting this in a sidequest mode, they should just remove discover and reduce card draw in the main mode.

Exactly - Twist feels more like hearthstone.  My decisions matter much more.  I dont lose or win because of <insert BS here>.  Turns dont go on for 10 minutes while people draw and discover endless cards.  Standard is so stupid right now.  Titans suck.  Just high roll heaven for bad players and noobs.

That being said, most games are still decided by card draw & getting your outs before the other guy.  No way around it.  But it feels way more legit now than in Standard or Wild where its 99.9999976% luck and every game is decided by turn 3.

Totally this.  In Twist, I've had actual constructed games where the board state was a contest not a steamroll, evolved over a few turns, and determined the games outcome

posted a message on Introducing Mass Pack Opening: The New Way to Open Your Pre-Purchase Bundles

Doesn't look like you can, but if you're opening say, 100 packs, you could open 60 using the mass feature and then do the remainder manually.

IMO what would be cool is an "open until legendary" option, that skips past all the non-legendary packs and lets you flip over the cards individually for the pack with the legendary in, then finally gives you the rather stale pack opening report shown in the vid.

posted a message on pre-purchase motivation

If you're willing to spend money but want to cheapskate through this expansion, you can probably get by with the battlepass plus one of the bundles blizz puts out when the expansion drops - there is often one with 10 expansion packs, 10 standard packs and 2 legendaries for around half the cost of the small preorder.  This assumed you're willing to burn through some of that dust, and it's a risk as they don't announce those bundles in advance.  I've been trying to cut down too as similarly have ridiculous amounts of dust unused.

posted a message on Heroic Brawliseum Legendary Quest Update - First Portrait for Playing 3 Games

1000g for a skin and brawl ticket seems fair if you like the skin, and encourages participation in the brawl even if you're not really competitive, making the other brawl rewards slightly easier for everyone else.  I hope this becomes the standard for future brawls
