The old style golden packs never had pity timers, and didn’t interact with pity timers on the normal packs - I’d expect the signature packs to work in the same way
In current standard, it's more like: 3/4, kill a creature if you have candleshot down. Pretty good if you have it, and absolutely terrible if you don't. Definitely doesn't make the cut in current hunter decks, but maybe it'll get more support support.
Should caveat that - you can only get each minion once! At 3:30, Roffle says that once you've chosen a minion, it won't be offered again, so you can't abuse this to get three Jaces or Xymoxes.
It's one hell of a card though - I think you're playing Jace, Xymox and possibly one other dude, maybe something early for tempo. Kinda rude that you can even tuck away Renethal with it.
Thanks for this! I'd been hesitant to click on it to find out in case it somehow caused the most valuable weekly quest to vanish or turn into something else.
Hmm - superficially it looks pretty awful, but if you do this against a full (or nearly full) board you're locking your opponent out for quite a while. I think this might be a lot better than it looks.
Don't see much problem - 3 casual noz v noz games takes around 5 minutes and then you're done. Even if one player AFKs the game is swift as the rope timer is cut to nothing
Fully expecting that on day 1 we'll see a 3 deck meta of utter brokenness: triple frost DK, triple unholy DK, triple blood DK and everything else getting trounced.
It will be amazing fun for 48 hours until literally everyone's either netdecked or given up then we'll all be screaming for nerfs.
There’s been a bug for ages that double counted classic set cards on the mass disenchant button. This was introduced with the introduction of the classic set. You would actually see your mass disenchant figure go down by 10 if you disenchanted a single common from the classic set. It was counting the classic and wild version of the card, and I tested the mass disenchant on an alt, you couldn’t get the double dust.
This bug has been fixed - I tried disenchanting a classic common now and my mass disenchant figure went down 5.
I’m guessing OP has a ton of classic cards and saw a big unexplained increase on the mass disenchant figure when Classic was introduced.
Even if the cards look mediocre at first, it's almost always worth buying the mini set - you only need one of the legendaries to be playable for it to be worth it, and meanwhile you've insured yourself against opening the bad legendaries in the set.
However, in terms of gameplay, I'm not seeing a lot to get excited about other than the mage cards. The two 'good' legendaries look like they're trying to keep you playing an actual game of hearthstone rather than annihilate the opponent's board or win on the spot, which is what top end stuff needs to do. So many of the mini set commons/rares are total filler.
Kinda wish they'd put in an "I can't be arsed with this, just give me the pack" button, or give you the pack for playing a game even if you lose. After hitting a run of bad luck, that's 15 minutes I won't be getting back.
Anyone notice that (in the UK at least), the cheapest rune denomination is the best value - 500 runes for 3.99 GBP? Pretty sure that's an error
Overall, this is a super annoying update and aside from a sunk cost of leftovers from an amazon coin bundle done for Nathria, I'm tempted to go FTP for a while
There is a slight benefit to players, I think - provided you can purchase Runestones on the online blizz store, you can do foreign currency purchases on everything that uses runestones.
Right now, foreign currency purchases aren't available on in-game shop bundles that don't appear in the blizz store.

Has anyone cleared up what happens if you get a diamond and signature of the same card ?

Looks as though some new cosmetic coins were added in today's patch, requiring full older sets to claim - e.g. Naxx, GVG.
Pretty sure I have (at least) the adventures complete but didn't get the coins. Anyone manage to claim them?

Would have been great in DH :(

I think I know this one.

Hunter, Skeleton Hero Power Mage, Denathrius Token Druid and Imp Warlock all seem like amazing decks to me, making these the ones to go for:
Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable
Topior the Shrubbagazzor
Kael'thas Sinstrider
Imp King Rafaam
Ara'lon
Huntsman Altimor
Obviously, Sire Denathrius and Prince Renathal would belong on the list, but they're free.
