This looks exactly like every other evolve shaman deck nothing new here.
For example?
In this state of the game, it's a deckbuilding challenge for the most efficient deck. They're obviously going to be similarities considering this is already a set archetype, the point is to make the most successful adaption to Frozen Throne. Just because there are similarities, it nullifies the deck? That seems ignorant considering that would mean decks would never evolve (not pun intended) to their most efficient form.
Aside from exactly Rattling Rascal, it has all of the basic evolve jade cards. It is only slightly different from a deck we have all seen many times. It hardly qualifies as NEW EVOLVE SHAMAN, when if runs 28 obvious cards and 2 copies of 1 that is pretty questionable already. Unless Rattling Rascal dramatically affects its performance than its not anything to write home about.
I wouldnt say you need 50 games per se, but it should be tested a decent amount (20+ games?) and certainly should note the ranks its been played at before typing in caps as if its something obviously different.
Hold the phone. Not that this really has a significant impact on the cards worth mind you, but how does it actually interact with Prophet Valen? Valen doubles damage, so 2 damage to all, then the healing becomes 2 for each minion hit, then does it double that healing effect seprately? Do you see what I'm saying? The healing is based on damage dealt, valen doubles healing effects, so if the damage is calculated, then the healing effect triggers it would double that number right?
Again, this doesn't make or break the card, just curious. Obviously we'll find out in August.
Keeper of Uldaman is crazy tempo against the 7/7 as well, they get overloaded and you get a favorable trade
There are answers people, the meta is nuts but it will settle and then you can tweak your decks against what you play against mostly. Keep track of your opponents and reassess your deck as you climb, the meta at 20 and 10 and especially at 5 and below is completeley different.
I haven't actually seen Rag yet, only Pally's I have come across are C'thun or divine aggro. (At Rank 9 right now) I would imagine he is good but I don't know if Pally is a class worth crafting for yet.
I won't lie, Yogg Saron is the most fun I have had with this game in a long time. He isn't a win condition, more of a last ditch effort to save a lost game, don't play him when you are ahead!
After N'zoth I would hold onto the dust and see where the chips fall. I had 6k dust going in and spent a lot of it on rares and epics I wanted, I only crafted 1 legendary, The Twin Emperors.
EDIT: Fandral is probably a safe bet, as is Halazael, but its possible they don't see play.
In playing since middle of beta, I have noticed something absolutely astounding in my time.
Every deck I have ever lost to is OP. Should be nerfed. I have yet to lose an honest game of Hearthstone. My winrate is 100% when you strip down all the rng and OP decks and opponents who play anything turn 1 -10.
Real talk: In an honest effort to positively impact someones perception of the game, keep your experience in perspective. We all go through win streaks and losing streaks. The most popular deck in the meta isn't always going to be OP. Your sample size is going to be small, unless you somehow simultaneously play 9 different decks on 9 accounts for 8 hours a day. Observations are great for discussion, to pool experiences, but good lord, every new good card isn't automatically OP.
Also there is a QQ thread, use it. We all get salty sometimes, don't let that time define your entire experience.
On more current events, there has been a lot of hubub about Mysterious Challenger. Is he strong? Obviously. Is he OP? There's a tricky question.
He might be. However it is a lot easier to get a good discussion going when you state your position as from your perspective or with some more credible information than: "I always lose to it". What decks did you use? Was MC even the reason you lost? Was he even played when you lost to secret pally? How many games we talkin? What ranks? Lots of variable to consider. Track your games, it provides some interesting perspective, it won't always be contrary to what you think is happening, but when it is its interesting to think about.
I just want some decent discussion. I hate losing. Few people get a real sense of satisfaction from it. Use it to learn. When you want to rage, use the QQ thread, or yell at your keyboard and whatnot. It doesn't have feelings anyway. (Yet) The big question is: Is this a QQ thread about QQ threads? QQ-ception.
I love how people STILL bring up that Trump or someone was wrong about one thing or another that they reviewed months ago. When you are reviewing a large volume of cards without having seen how they work, some mistakes are bound to happen. If you let that one mistake discredit everything he says, then I'm sorry for you. Obviously you don't have to respect him, but if that's your reason why, it's a poor one. Coming back months later with 20/20 hindsight and acting superior is simply laughable. Not defending Trump or anyone whatsoever, but disagreeing with that sort of behavior.
However, it is important to take what they say with a grain of salt, they are talking about a very finite portion of the game and, as mentioned, cannot foresee what changes the meta will undergo. They also make it pretty clear that they are doing their review in a cautious manner and not proclaiming that what they say will be the way things are, regardless of your interpretation, it's not a science. But they've put thought into it and have to believe what they are saying to a degree, otherwise there would be no point in conducting a review in the first place. I'm waiting and seeing, but the reviews give insight to a "pro's take" on the new cards.
To be fair, there have been some pretty meta-defining cards that they have misfired on. (Patron, Flamewaker, Boom, Mad Scientist) They are both talented players but there aren't many streamers/pros (if any) who can or will accurately predict how things will change.
Again, its been stated but if TGT slows the meta down significantly, then thats already a buff for priest, who excels at the long game. You don't even need any new OP cards.
I would agree that the TGT set seems underwhelming but who knows, it will be fun to experiment for sure, if nothing else, a lot of new deck archetypes are worth trying. (Control hunter, Pirates, Inspire decks, Joust decks, dragon priest, taunt warrior, etc.)
I don't remember anyone saying Juggernaut was OP. At best some people thought he was viable.
This card clearly has some potential. Could be a bust, but the value by the numbers is too strong to ignore.
You do realize that by stating your position in such a condescending and arrogant manner that you come off as a fool right? Most of us have learned by now that almost any card can't be completely written off until it is tested somewhat. There have been many many underrated cards in the past. Again, the value for mana is super slow, but far too strong to simply state "This will 100% be trash".
Adding a value late game legendary isn't going to kill CW vs. aggro. It wins against aggro by drawing into and utilizing its early game tools to clear and build armor, running aggro out of gas and getting into the mid-lategame where CW shines.
If Varian ends up being only really useful in a version of Warrior that sacrifices a lot of early game cards for more late game then sure, aggro will probably do way better against it.
As said already. Even if he doesn't play a single minion and only draws 3 spells or weapons, its till value.
Super late gamey but ultimately if you arent staring down lethal he has a strong chance to just win the game. Then again, if you are CW and not staring down lethal on turn 10 you are probably winning anyways.
Honestly I am most excited about this card versus Handlock or something else that was usually difficult to deal with in the late game.
Also the Chromaggus dream is real. If Varian draws him first, the value is over 9000.

No hate intended here, trying to be constructive.

N'zoth for sure, after that its questionable IMO.

I didn't believe a short response to my post could be so accurate, but here we are.

Doesn't it just say "restore 7 health" like how healing touch says. Which can be targeted on minions and heroes?
Maybe this has already been clarified but with the current wording it sounds like you can target it.
