in the last 10 months I mostly played wild (and arena). every month I went to rank 5 or better. last month I stopped at rank 10, this month I'm at rank 14 and I dont know if I will play more or not... I mostly see locks and priests with some paladins. If you want to have fun with weaker decks then just forget it. I really thought that we will have a few more expansions before wild gets unplayable but I'm not sure about it anymore. It's almost at that point already.
so I played my first warrior arena in this expansion (I had one warrior arena in KotFT and 2 in Ungoro...) and it was surprisingly refreshing. I really liked it until I encountered 3 mages and the deck ended at 5-3. :) after this I had a mage deck and at 11-1 the endboss was a warrior. That was my easiest win with that deck... poor warrior seems really weak against mages.
in January I've already seen more warriors than in December, it seems more ppl are trying it and overall it feels totally playable. did Blizzard changed something in the offering rates again?
Hunter>Lock/priest/pally>>all others, pretty much, at the moment.
Not true lately. Hunter fell of the grace after some more microadjustments that scaled back some drafting rates on certain class cards.
Warlock and Priest r top dogs right now, so from what OP has as a choice, WL it is.
Huh, must have missed that they'd made adjustments. When was that? Must have been smothered by all of the 'news' posts on here about pro decks and the like. Thanks for mentioning that!
no news/updates about it, it was the usual micro-adjustment they never announce but stats never lie so usually within a few days its pretty obvious if they change something.
the real problem with this is the lack of communication. an average player will never hear about this.
but yeah, you are free to insert all the usual comments here like small indie company and other shits. :)
dunno, mage is still flawless for me. I have to admit that the 2nd run is much easier for all the classes, even though I try to pick the interesting things, not the most powerful ones.
idk, after I finished my first complete run I started another one instanly...
a few heroes were really easy and I had problems with 2 or 3, I just want to check it again to see if I was lucky for the first time.
the only thing bothers me that I have less time to arena because of this. :D
and yeah I havent see the treasure vault yet, only saw the fishing toad once and I didnt know that you can fatigue him to get some extra boost, etc etc. still a lot of things to try.
so I've just started to check the last Lightforge podcast and they are saying that the offering bonuses are different than what they promised... again...
so yeah, thats why rogue suxx right now and thats why hunter can perform OKish. I guess for an average casual player its fine because they dont know anything about this anyway, but tbh when you expect something and you draft your first 10-15 decks according to what they promised and the whole thing is wrong then it can be a bit annoying. at least I know now that I wasnt just extremely unlucky with my runs. :)
anyway, if/when they change the numbers again, someone will get some nice runs before everyone else will notice it. :/
I was doing dungeon runs so I only played a few arenas but yeah, my average went down to 5ish from 6ish... Thats mainly because I tried to test everything though, so its still fine. Had 2 rogue runs (3 wins average) and rogue felt week. Played against them 12 times, only lost once...
So far my best is paladin (3 runs, 6.67 wins). The divine shield+card draw thing is awesome and the new weapon with mass divine shield is just game winning.
Played against warlocks 13 times and only won twice!!! Doing my very first lock run now, its at 6-1.
For me it seems that warlock and paladin are the best, priest and mage after them, hunter and druid very close to them and the rest is... well, just dont speak about them. :)

wild is just priest now.
when you start thinking about a deck, then the first question should be: can I beat priests with this? nope? then proceed to the next deck.

the play a minion, cast a spell with the same cost version is better but this one is still one of the best brawls :)

its almost 2018. all these things should be real time updated ingame and on their homepage if you log in there.
just like arena offering bonuses (the real numbers, not the fake ones they announce), lists of banned cards, etc.
but yeah... small indie company, blahblahblah...

I've just recieved a mail from Blizzard about my November in HS with some funny numbers.:
"You knocked 7 players out of Arena in one run! Players in your region knocked 1.8 players out of Arena on average.
You knocked 86 players out of Arena! Players in your region knocked 4.6 players out of Arena on average."
Anyone else recieved this?
