I have countless wins on like 14/14 vancleefs and twilight summoners on their own (and mainly against warriors).

Twilight summoner is SLOW indeed. But it counters brawl, it is a very pesky minion to remove, and when you manage to play one and a raptor just after, its just dominating. They are here to deal with warrios (and a lot of people are playing tempo / cthun warrior, and they are gold in this match.

If you don't like twilight summoner you can just switch them for tomb pillagers or even shadow casters. But it will hurt you against warriors and mages (our worse matchups).

You don't have a win condition. You snowball into a win, almost always. You control their board, outtempo them, in a way you are always ahead. N'zoth is more for close games (were neither him or you can keep a dominating board presence). In those cases you can call N'zoth a "win condition" but that is often unecessary.

I strongly recommend you watch the videos. You are going to see that 90% of the time i win by turn 10 because the opponent is behind and can never recover.

We win by tempo. Honestly, if you find backstab + si:7, coin + si:7, or combos like huckster + eviscerate by turn 4, you will dominate the board, mitigate damage and win.

Sometimes aggro decks get the perfect opener (double mana wyrm, trogg into totem golem, flame imp into 2 drop into councilman) don't be worried if you lose in that cases (almost everyone does, except for mirror decks with same good draws). But if you open well you can keep them behind the entire game.

I woudl go Hoarder because his tiny board presence is better than nothing. But that is if you already have enough value cards (it will be ok if you already have the 29 other cards).
Anyway, both choices won't hurt your winrate too much, so don't be too worried about it!

    Good luck and grind on!

    Always keep 1x backstab (because it is soo good against flame imp);
    Always keep SI:7 with backstab.

Other than that, i always keep hucksters, and raptors if i have a huckster.

Oh, and finally, i don't mind keeping a shadow strike / sap to deal with darkshire councilman if i already have a good curve for turns 1/2!

Yeah it is a great card, and i'm also thinking on inserting it. Glad to know you are having a good winrate so high up the ladder! Keep it up!!

So guys, tested the list a bit more today: 9-1 record, From rank 14 to 10 in one session. I know this is not sustainable, but feels good anyway.
New video talking about it and featuring two games @ rank 10 is in the main post! Check it out!

    Cheers everyone!

Uploaded a game against a tempo mage, with some insight about this matchup. I'm right now editing a video of a match against a fellow rogue (that was likely playing a version of Twopenny Valeera!) Hope you guys enjoy!

Mages are hard but winnable. It's all about who draws the best mulligan really. If they start with the upper hand you never get the tempo back, and this is also true for the other way around. Freeze is about who can kill the other faster, with lots of RNG involved too.

Hey man! Dark iron has no similar card, neither do VanCleef, so i would just throw in +1 Tomb Pillager and +1 Journey below to keep the flow of the deck! And YES, Harrison is great and the only reason i don't use it is because i don't have it =P
