Currently Rank 9 and this deck has done well for me. I wanted to share it. I never really noticed all the one-ofs in the deck until I wrote it down. Seems to work. I have Stormforged axe in for Spirit claws as a place holder.
Tirion, Chillmaw, and Sylvanas alone make N'Zoth worth it. I have only had Chillmaw and Abom both trigger twice in 60+ games. Rately at that point in the game do you have a dragon in hand or have seen both die before playing N'Zoth. That said I have subbed out Abom recently in favor of Harrison as a meta call with the popularity of all the weapons classes.
Couple minor tweaks. 80%+ winrate over 60 games played so far. Abom is kind of a meta call, I took it out in favor of Harrison because of all the weapons class being played. If aggro is popular at your rank then i would keep it in. Rag the Lightlord as won me 75% of the games I have played him, huge improvement over Thaurissan
80% winrate- Record is 28-5 through mid ladder so far. Doing really well against all archetypes. 2 losses vs face shaman, 1 vs zoo, 1 vs deathrattle rogue, and last c'thun warrior.
Thanks for the feedback. The deck as done well so far and I just subbed out Humility for Keeper of Uldaman. The deck is 28-5 so far so it definitely needs more play time. Peacekeeper is on the active mulligan list so that is fine for T3. Occasionally I will play a naked Pyro if the match needs the board but I have found that most of the time some patience is fine given how strong the mid-late game is and recovery of the deck. One of the losses is to face shaman so you're not wrong. But I have had great match ups so far beating shaman and zoo multiple times. The deck draws 6+ cards as is and that is plenty given the quality/ body of the drops. It almost always up values trades. I chose LoH instead of Rag since it is missing the card draw by not having vigil. It doesn't need Rag since the rest of the board is so strong. The other benefit of LoH is that I can target what I want rather than relying on luck to get the heal to the right place. There are alot of N'Zoth pally decks and this is just my take given the strong dragon tempo synergies of Paladin. Deathwing on 10 even with N'Zoth in hand isn't bad and adds value to N'Zoth. Also, you don't always get one or the other by that time and this gives you 2 options which adds to the consistency that you have a value 10 drop to swing the board.
Edit* I'll also add that Freeze Mage has no 3, 4, 5, or 6 drops an is still a top 5 competitive deck. You don't need the tempo if you can out value an opponent. This deck has 4 board clears, 4 AOEs, 4 taunts, and 3 cards that mitigate damage as well as 2 of the best heals in the game. Not to say it's perfect, I'm no pro, but I can say it has performed admirably so far.
You know I was seriously considering includingThe Beast, but with Sylvannas and Cairne already at 6-mana, I wanted to curve out a bit more. I decided on 2 Abominations, which is nice because it puts everything behind a super Taunt when N'Zoth is summoned.
My only concern with 2 aboms is that odds are that the 4 aoe will just wipe your whole board you just worked so hard for nzoth to drop. Chillmaw is a bigger body to boot.
Hey guys, could you help me with my n'zoth deck that I've been running ? The biggest problems so far have been deathrattle hunter, aggro shaman sometimes, and mosly: n'zoth priest! Priest just entomb all of my bigger deathrattle minions, and then deal with the smaller ones, but anyway, I can't get value out of n'zoth in the end, and they also cabal my Twilight summoners. As for my collection : I don't own cairne, harrison, rag. lightlord and solemn vigil, so i tried replacing them. Any help appreciated :)
Yea I can see how priest would be a pain with your deck. Have you tried Corrupted Healbot for a little more beef later?
From experience I've found that solely relying on N'Zoth in the deck isn't the best way to go. He's fantastic if you revive a legendary deathrattle, but you're screwed if they save an answer for him, which more and more decks are starting to do. I'd really recommend adding some dragon synergy if you have some. Deathwing, Dragonlord and Chillmaw bring two more strong deathrattles, and Deathwing alone will win the game if you set him up right.
Otherwise try adding some other late game legendaries so you're not completely lost if N'Zoth doesn't show, might bait out an Entomb and save a deathrattle too. Maybe Ysera? Dream + N'Zoth is tasty.
I used Lay on Hands instead if Ragnaros. Its the same single turn heal but can be directed rather than random and the 3 card draw is fantastic late game. Both are good just depends on the rest of the deck and how much you want to draw.
Looks good. How are the Twilight Summoners? I've yet to try them with dragons. Same goes for Abomination actually.
They work really nicely. After dropping N'Zoth when the summoners and abom come up they have no choice but to attack abom which pops them. Also good anti aoe vs control decks. They also are good when you Pyro + Equality because it clears the board and leaves you a 5/5. Abom is great against all the rush and zoo decks also. I like having another taunt pop from N'Zoth along with Chillmaw. I haven't had a ton of test time with the deck yet but I'm 5-2 with the deck and one of the losses was a complete missplay on my side in hind sight.

To be fair its mid ladder over two months. I dont have time to play all the way to legend. Rank 9 and the deck was still winning 80%+

Abom works great in my list. Helps trigger Twilight Summoners.
