I feel spell damage should be changed to "Spell Power" and should affect healing spells as well.
How does this sit with the community?

You're correct and it's why I now only really visit if I'm having a smoke or something and have run out of things to read or visit, or it's coming up to a new expansion. It's very rare there's any sort of interesting discussion or debate, strategy sharing or even all that much genuine game discussion. You can almost guarantee that when you load onto the homepage there's something bitchy, whiny article complaining and spreading conspiracies. I suppose its typical of whete society seems to be heading in general but yeah, this is not a place to come and discuss hearthstone really. It would help if people used the salt thread instead of attention seeking and thinking that their complaint is so special and unique that it deserves its own thread. Maybe a clamp down on that might help.

10. If it were different I wouldn't play hearthstone anymore.

As a Shaman main, Shaman's mechanics are fine. It's just variance that it usually is weak or strong, not in between. (But not always. Even Shaman in Standard was in a great spot back in the day, as someone who used it to get Legend for the first time -- my winrate was 57%, but I was very dedicated to the deck. Seems like an ok balance spot to me.)
I think Quest Shaman with the new C'Thun might be overhyped as card draw is what C'Thun needs and that's Shaman's greatest weakness. But Shaman is soooo close to being awesome, it just needs someone to find something clever with the new cards and it will break into being fine.
I think people are really overlooking Dunk Tank. Non-symmetric, non-overload, before-late-game AoE in Shaman? That's really good with the synergies in the class (like Spell Damage). And face burn at the same time. Yikes.
Depending what Corrupt cards they reveal today, I may craft Y'Shaarj, the Defiler day 1, and Shaman is the class I'm most excited to use it with. Control Shaman can really use it as a win con, particularly if they can generate/duplicate + upgrade lots of copies of Dunk Tank and deal a lot of face burn the turn they play Y'Shaarj.

O rly ?! Tell us more ....
the old gods are what shaman need to be viable...
Fair point this. Shaman already has some of the best control tools in the game. Just completely lacking a late game win condition.

R.I.P. SHAMAN AGAIN?

Comparing HS to real sports? lmao what a sad argument.

Yes, Blizzard just hates you personally. Should not have pissed them off.

So, basically, normal duels are worth nothing, not even the 3 wins 10 gold, and the heroic is gona cost gold, for a chance of reward?
Honestly, I've been playing duels and it's fun, but pay to play? No away. It's even more random than arena. You pay, build a deck, than get a crap treasure. GG. It feels like money grabbing bullshit.
Another thing, arena rewards seems bad to me. It feels much more worth to save gold for expansions release. In arena you're getting decks you already own, just doesn't feel worth to me.

if the card does not say it is a rush minion then it is not a rush minion
2
E.T.C., God of Metal Animated Broomstick
it says after a friendly rush minion attack deal 2 damage, that means only cards with the word "rush" written on should trigger the effect, not a minion that has been given rush, they are not rush minions and should therefor not trigger the effect.

I don't think they are able to break out of bronze

let it be done!

the joke is that demon hunter even have value options, they simply just don't play them because their aggro and midrange options are so over powered that it would be to gimp themselves not to play them

Do blizzard pay people to do damage control on forums?
sometimes it seems like it when you watch people defend their greedy business actions and horrible game design mistakes.
people are upset about the huge price of playing the game and then some blizzard spy makes an attack on f2p players to switch the discussion.
obviously I cannot prove anything, I don't think however that is beneath them with how they are acting

what I will attempt to do in this thread is explain why I think "forced synergies" which I define as cards like Cloud Prince and Counterspell, cards who have a symbiotic bound written in text fx (if you control a secret) is not only unjust powercreep but also bad play expirence.
I am an old school guy, I played from the day the game launched, took a break and came back a while back and it is a very different game.
(I realize ill sound very old but here goes) back in the days a secret would not just be played because it was a secret and was a part of the "package of forced synergies" freeze mage would run iceblock and ice barrier for survival and tempo mage would run mirror entity and counterspell for tempo.
there was little to no incentive to just JAM all the secrets and cards with a symbiotic relationship to secrets into a deck and call it a day as we see today, when I face a secret mage and they play a secret I have little to no idea what sort of secret they could have played, they just stuff all the secrets that don't suck "dunkyass" into the deck and it makes it a clusterfuck to play agents and if that was not enough, they can even generate additional secrets which makes it such that even if you have popped counterspell 2 times, they can still have a 3th 4th and so on.
I dislike this very much and the playstyle is only possible because it is enabled by lazy blizzard card designers with the game philosophy that says - derp herp erm, it has a requirement so it can be powercreeped"
this could be fine if there was a limited pool of required cards to enable these power creeped cards but for secrets fx there are 16 not counting Ting Toss secrets and 17 cards with symbiotic relationship to secrets and that is just in standard, it is forced, uninventive and very disrupting to play versus.
what I think should be done by this is limiting the amount of playable secrets so you have a chance to guess which one it could be based on playstyle or knowledge of meta decks and also I would like to see a nerf to Counterspell, it punishes big spells too much compared to smaller spells, make it so it that it stops the spell and consumes the card but not the mana to cast it so fx if you bloodlust you lose to bloodlust but you dont loose the 5 mana.
tldr: secrets are not fun to play versus

how much money does one have to spend on the game in order to be able to complain?
