it says after a friendly rush minion attack deal 2 damage, that means only cards with the word "rush" written on should trigger the effect, not a minion that has been given rush, they are not rush minions and should therefor not trigger the effect.
I see a lot of people talking about how they struggle with demon hunter and as a seasoned control and combo player who don't struggle I just wanna give the community of demon hunter oppressed souls an understanding of what it takes to play control and beat demon hunter damn near every time.
An huge part of what makes demon hunter so strong is not only their high damage, but also their high amount of healing, what this means is that you need to be able to outlast the demon hunter, attacking the demon hunters face is pretty much meaningless till he is out of soul fragments / lifesteal options, so never choose to go face over clearing a minion from the demon hunters board.
A demon hunter runs a lot of draw, this means that they will reach fatigue much sooner than the average control deck, basically they are the ones that need to win the game before their cards run out, so don't feel bad about skipping a turn of play if they develop nothing on the board after you clear it, they need to win you just need not to lose.
you need to have an answer for their only value card soulciologist malicia.
HEALING you need healing a lot of healing, the demon hunter burst potential is huge and you should never be below 16 hp versus one for that very reason, taunts don't make you safe
cards that are very good if can find place for them is both kobold stickyfingers and hecklebot (a lot of cards find their strength from their battlecry or from being low curved and easily slowballed and this is where hecklebot shines, don't play it carelessly tho, always be ready for what he can bring it, as a bonus he helps a lot vs other control decks and combo decks, not only ruining their value generation but also putting them 1 step closer to fatique and possibly giving you something to spend one of your 10 cards in your hand on, if it is one of those types of fights.
tldr: play control if you want to beat demon hunter
a solid way to beat demon hunter that works is playing control shaman with all the heals and removal spells, basically you just remove their cards the entire game and use the heals to have a decent health pool you feel safe at till they are out of resources
only works vs "midrange" and aggro demon hunters, the new otk demon hunter you got no chance versus
"DH has no value" If there wasn't SO MUCH card draw in the class, players would have a reason to include value cards like: Felosophy , Netherwalker , Zai, the Incredible But they don't need to, since they can simply gain huge card advantage via drawing. (not to mention that the ability or lack of card generation was not a metric back when designing the core classes)
"DH isn't able to deal with huge minions" DH can get huge attack easily: check DH has access to Blade Dance : check DH has a decent amount of cards to heal himself/make himself invunerable even if he spends his attack to kill said minion: check DH has a large amount of cards (silence, negate taunt) to make him not care about a problematic minion on board: check
I think that establishing real class weaknesses and toning down the overblown class cards mana and effect-wise would help DH feel real and align itself better with the rest of the classes. Cheers
the joke is that demon hunter even have value options, they simply just don't play them because their aggro and midrange options are so over powered that it would be to gimp themselves not to play them
I liked the idea of making demon hunter for the concept of giving new or returning players a class with all the cards they could play and not be so fare behind everyone els who have playede for a long time, but yes they simply over tuned demon hunter massively with both midrange and aggro...
That is quite possibly the most delusional thing I've ever read. Just because you think the new system is absolute garbage ( that's more of a fact to be honest, but ehh ) doesn't mean others will see it the same way, every argument always has two sides exactly because of that. The system does have some horrible things, but it did improve in some as well, such as cosmetics.

I wish we where able to make decks with cards we don't own, ofc not be able to play it before we own every card in it, just make them
1
if the card does not say it is a rush minion then it is not a rush minion

made a thread about blizzard using paid employees to do damage control and they found an excuse to close down the thread
