posted a message on [Curse of Naxxramas] [Nuba]Constructed Analysis of Curse of Naxxramas Cards

i think most of nubas remarks were true to the expected meta in the end of july , where it was higly agresive . Now the meta is slightly slower making the 1 turn later sludger butcher more viable or the deathlord not an autoinclude and also letting place to some reincarnate shamans ( that are quite slow and vs zoo or shockadin reincarnate is a dead card). But still we would wait until the end of the naxx realease and 1 month more for the meta to solidify before checking if he was wrong .

posted a message on Hearthstone: Easy way to make more gold (NA)

but come on NA accounts pay 30% less for cards with REAL money than us EU players. (i have bought packs in eu and NA and yep 45Euros 40packs  instead of 50$for na players). So yep prizes are unfair accros regions. (also salaries in europe are slightly less than in US ... so no reason for it to be more expensive...)

posted a message on Farming golden shaman

So far i am at 250 wins with the shaman is the class i mostly used from season 1.

My problem is to get the matches take me too much to complete. even with a good % of wins (around 60-70 %) i feel i take to long each match it take me 10-20 mins. I have tried midrange, rebirth combo and bloodlost swamp shaman so far but all of them takes a long time to finish a match.

Anyone know any other archetype to how to make a faster shaman  ( this season i try to farm it at around rank 10)?

posted a message on Comparing Skill/Luck Between Hearthstone and Magic:The Gathering

To all of that .... just to remeber than in Magic random effects are quite common, but because of unreliability most of this cards do not see much competitive play except some exceptions ( like the discard 2 cards at random of hymn). There is even a card that can make you win the game by wining coin flips come on!!! Or even some time seeing the bigest joke ever the infamous 1 mana tutor Gamble. or the tipical man clash when if extremely lucky for one mana you can kill your oponent.... And do nto forget that thousands of goblins with a coin flip xd

Yep rng exist in every card game , and in my opinion is the funniest part of casual play. but so far the card pool of HS is so thin that you need to include rng cards

Also some rng abilites are so overly underpriced because of rng that it becomes atractive. (charge and inmune for just random selection of the target attacked?? who could say no!!) and this is principally the problem with rng in HS it deduce too much of the cost of the card. Charging rag with immune while attacking? even at 12 it would not be fair! 2 3/2 (like a vnailla card of same cost) with 1 freee damage each time you play a creature... compared to the 3 mana 2/2 with one one damage.... and etc... so yep one problem is that rng effects are too good

posted a message on Comparing Skill/Luck Between Hearthstone and Magic:The Gathering

i feel exactly like twistedspine. The rng in MAGiC is much more brutal. i rember some seasons in the mocs losing in the semifinals because of land flood...

Also the amount of options is big but you saw 95% the same decks.  I played legacy , and all the games you faced one of the 6-8 archetipes that existed ( so barely LESS variety than hearstone). Also the price was so big each viable deck except one (dredge) costed 1000 dollars +. and if you want to draft (like arena) 3-4 times a week you need to invest 180-240$ each month!

Even if i need to pay the european price of  hearstone cards (much more expensive that us ones) with like 500$ (half a MTGO deck or 4 rishadians ports) and some play i got a full colection and 2 fully viable golden decks. (golden beeing muuuch nicer that magic foil and i never thought of making a legacy foil deck easily 3-4k $)

So yes even paying in hearstone you get a better gameplay as twistedspine Droptimal explained. Personally i already sold my mtgo collecction on december. i think hearstone would eat mtgo in some years,

posted a message on Bots - An estimate of their skill level, prevalency and what that means for Hearthstone

still in wow there is a high number of bots specially in pvp, the bot  problem would remain. the better solution in hearstone for the comunity is to promote more tourneys . So far we are at less than 10 each week with 10 000 000 acounts compared to the more than 20 dailies in MTGO with less than 300 000 players and a max of 4000 playing at the same time.

about zoo i am much more worried of the nerub'ar weblord so far i used a shaman midrange with two of them and when i arrive to play them in turn 1-2 vs zoo in most of the cases or they get soulfire or they loose so much tempo.

PS: i love 5 mana flame imp

posted a message on UTH Nerf!

I think this nerf was quite obvious. And The Chiv already predicted it. See his "no release the hounds hunters control deck" from nearly two months ago. I think hunter is still viable without realease because at 3 mana is a waste against some of the current decks : warior legendary; druid ramp....At 2 it looked like a overcosted tuskar boar against them; but at 3 is just useless. I know it destroys paladins and shamans; but even without it the direct damage of their hero power is quite powerful against them; so i see the realease now more a one of instead of two off in a midrange one.
