Omnislash_7777 posted a message on Introducing the Core Set, Classic Format, Legacy Set & More!Posted in: NewsThis is a fantastic change in my opinion. I've been saying for years that they should just completely rotate the classic set out and allow players to play it in all of its un-nerfed glory. Most of the broken classic cards that have withstood the test of time have either been hall of famed or nerfed into irrelevance and the rest of the set has been completely power creeped.
I look forward to climbing with old miracle rogue and face hunter. -

Popeye123 posted a message on Control is dead because...Posted in: General DiscussionTickatus is one of my favorite cards because I love burning my opponents 16-attack kingsbanes and their wretched tillers. Sorry bro but f**k your deck that you copy and pasted off the internet. Specifically why I play tickatus, so I can watch my brain dead opponents playing rez priest cry when I burn their spell stone and 9 mana rez card (forgot the name). And most of the time he doesn’t win the game on the spot against a control deck, more against a combo deck that has combo pieces in which case, that is exactly what tickatus’s effect is supposed to be, a combo tech in a strong control deck; which is control’s weakness. and I think he accomplishes that role brilliantly. One of my favorite cards hands down, next to lorewalker cho and nozdormu (the classic). People that say he’s bad design dont understand design, especially if their argument is that he’s an anti-control card.

chottomatte posted a message on The misconception of the Tavern PassPosted in: General DiscussionI cannot say I like the new skins (even those at level 50), as they feel too cheap.
When it comes to the Tavern Pass and the +20% EXP increase, it amounts to 20€ for 15-25 packs (~20 packs depending on how much time you spend on the game). And honestly, 20€ even for 25 (2500G) packs is nothing to brag home about (considering you actually have to play to get the extra experience). I passed on the "Tavern Pass" and will pass again. I'm at level 60, and almost 4K gold after purchasing the "mini-expansion".Overall, I'm sure it appeals to the collectors, and that's what Blizzard had in mind. But I can't imagine as much for most people who spend a reasonable amount of time and money on this game.
It simply boils down to "cosmetics" that everyone with the pass receives or actual value. And I can't find the value in 25 (2500G) packs for 20€ over the course of 3-4 months, where I'm forced to play to earn my rewards. Sometimes I take a break from Hearthstone, other times I don't, but that would diminish my gains on the pass. -

TicTacTimeHS posted a message on The misconception of the Tavern PassPosted in: General DiscussionActually, the cosmetics are all pretty mediocre except for the warrior one.
Also, doesn't matter how much more exp you get, the level cap is still 350, so the people who bot or auto-click don't need the 20% boost.
In addition, the extra packs (assuming you spend the extra gold for packs) you get from the 20% boost don't necessarily translate to as much value as you might think, because of duplicate protection and diminishing returns.
However, it is slightly more efficient if you enjoy paying blizzard every now and then, but keep in mind this is on top of your pre-orders every four month, so if you are rich or have no other hobbies, go for it.
So all in all, nice try blizzard employee. =-)

Pherosizm posted a message on NEW PALADIN LIBRAM WEAPONPosted in: Card DiscussionPaladin be looking pretty strong. Reduce it, corrupt it, swing it. Big damage and healing all packed into one.
If only paladin had some big taunts or board clears to keep the minions in check... oh wait...
Oh, and want to get 2 more? If this ends up being better in non-pure decks, you got Y'Shaarj, the Defiler to top it off.

Plahtica posted a message on Kirin Tor Mage to 4 manaPosted in: General DiscussionHi people,
I think this change is much needed to slow down the overpowered Secret mage deck without completely killing it. a mana nerf to Kirin Tor Mage would mean the deck can't that consistently have a secret and a body going into turn 3
This deck has been OP for too long and we wild players could get some peace with it being toned down just a bit.
Thoughts?

Nope.

That works great! What do you do with next turn's 2x 4/5 taunt divine shield though? And milliom wisdoms on top just after that? And the 4mana x2 librams of hope again 3 turns later?

Consacration plus 4/3 body? 5stars.will be in all warlock decks no matter the type, zoo, control, combo

Thats juicy .. and can be played earlier than shirvallah the tiger!

hard to feel the sarcasm in what i said , right?
3
play some pally , we talk later about it
-2
Its funny cause its true
-7
The card doesnt fit pally nowadays.its too expensive. At 6 mana pally summom 2 of 8/8 taunts with divine shield , play 2 of 4/5taunts with divine shield, clear the board and still have 2 mana leftover.so if this would cost 2,would make sense.meh
-5
Nobody will ever play these 2 new cards..they sinergise at 6 mana... hunters end the game till then too many other ways.1 star both of them

One poison murloc, one big divine shielded mech , one huge golden grubber... easy job to deal with it
