molten rune pretty strong if forged, mediocre if unforged.

wisdom of whatever is a pretty strong card draw in endgame, unplayable in early game.

seems like an interesting archetype for the meta game but also a archetype which saw we really often for mage, bla bla bla tempo, bla bla bla spell damage burn finisher win con.

only cool thing that you can discover cards feom other classes on top of that really easy.

Molten rune is absolutely bananas when forged.

    Quote from Thanatos2k >>

Seriously mediocre, especially because its effect only applies to your equipped weapon, and you can't even queue up something that would allow you to have more charges because it forcibly replaces your weapon with its mediocre 3/3.  Even in a perfect world where it lives to use all its abilities, you'll get a single swing with one ability, a single swing with two abilities, and a single swing with three.  Plus they can remove the weapon to negate the abilities and then this is just crap.

This card needed to be "for the rest of the game, your weapons have" and the same effects.

You’re WAY off the Mark here. 6 mana 3/7 with an either immediate 5/3 IWA. Or a draw 3. Or summon 9/9 taunt worth of stats (and all of this at the very minimum barring it doesn’t survive) are all nuts for 3 mana.

posted a message on Jailer druid decks need some nerfs here
    Quote from greenwolf13 >>

So i came across this druid build that involves a jailer card destroying an opponents deck making their monsters immune....but at the same time they are able to silence their own minions to reverse a deck swap thus destroying an opponents deck while keeping their own intact yet nothing i do can actually kill these minions? for one....if they can silence an IMMUNUE minion....other people should be able to silence one or all of them.....2nd there is no reason that even silencing a battle cry minion should be reversing this deck swap when its not even listed in the cards tooltips....Tony, King of Piracy should have this effect be a 1 time thing as this is wildly unfair to combo this with Anub Rekan and simply destroying the opponents deck while keeping theirs....now my issue is....AGAIN they are capable of altering an IMMUNE minion to reverse this deck swap....yet opponents arent able to do anything of the same? something needs a rework and Tony needs to be made a battlecry only not a reversable thing or something....being on turn 8 or 9 to have your entire deck destroyed by this combo seems like its just simply destroying the fun factor in this game for me crap like this is why i havent even tried to push ladder content at all in a couple years thinking things had changed but nope....yall still have some stupid cancer decks that you do nothing about except let em run rampant with no way to counter it at all

I often wonder if people even look at data before just blabbing on about nerfs. God it’s so cringe. Complain about literally anything that you lose to. The only thing that loses to that Druid is super greedy control. And even then, AoE like whirlpool, twisting nether, soul stealer is an instant win against it.

    Aggro is counterplay.

Non damage board wipes are counter play.

Destroy random enemy minion is counterplay.

Don’t just emotionally lob out some whiny, cringe post about a deck you probably have rarely played and instantly say it has no counter play/needs to be nerfed, when it’s not even a great deck and DEFINITELY has counterplay.

Why do you guys want to nerf tripple blood? It already sucks enough (literally every class has at least one deck which stomps over it with ease).

Name me 3 of those decks please, without mentioning pala or dh

Menarie warrior, thief priest, that endless spells mage whatever it is called, undead warlock unless it's really unlucky, totem shaman

     Menagerie warrior lol? No

You  can lol as much as you like but that's probably the only matchup I win consistantly. 3x blood just doesn't have enough draw to keep up.

I'll be happy to play BDK vs your menagerie warrior 5 games. If you win a single one I will revoke my statement.

Deal. BlackDragon#2664, look for me after 8 p.m. CEST (Europe server obviously).

Was this obvious and I missed it? Only have N/A.

I guess you could post your win history against BDK/your rank. (Screenshots of course).

So we don’t do anything until soulstealer is played? You faking stupid? Nearly every card even without soulstealer is OP in DK. You basically say to just sit there and be killed. You absolute clown 🤡

Look, you’ve clearly indicated that you’re coming from a place of emotion, so really having any sort of back and forth is frivolous on that basis alone, but there’s a reason BDK representation at high legend is low.

    Data>Your feelings.

I like how people pretend to make a point by comparing Soulstealer to Twisting Nether like Gigafin Lord Godfrey and Plague of Flames never existed.

And yes op this thread is ridiculous indeed, thanks for letting us know in the title.

Comparing a card of equal cost and identical effect is more valid than comparing a card to those of different cost and situational restrictions. There’s no closer comparison point to SS than TN.

You can’t play godfrey into a single 8/8 and clear it if needed. As for plague, well that’s not even remotely the same thing.

8 mana summons 5/5 and kills everything as well as gives corpses. I never said Twisting nether needs taking out the game but that as it is only 8 mana and doesn’t summon a 5/5.
You clearly a fan of Deathknight to think this card doesn’t need nerfing 🤡

So your ideology is that you think then twisting nether should be 4 mana?

If you can get 12 mana soul stealer should be 12 mana it’s that BS!

I never said you said twisting nether did, I said that because twisting nether is also not overpowered.

You need to realize that the rune restrictions are.....restrictions, and thus the cards requiring 3 of any one rune should be stronger than those that don’t (twisting vs. SS.)

And again, no one was complaining about this before BDK became viable, nothing changed about the card. You just overcommit boards and SS blows you out.

Soul stealer needs removing out the game without a doubt.

No it doesn’t, just like twisting nether doesn’t.

A 5/5 in exchange for being locked behind triple blood is fine.

That, and no one complained about it until now, because the deck is viable now.

    Quote from Truenorth >>

Construct Quarter BALANCE, 3mana, summon 3/3 rush

Destroy Minion spells for 3 mana. Problem here is DK AOE damage kills useless minions, then these spells pick off your biggest threats with literally no drawback. Makes it too difficult to get ahead of Blood DK. Siphon Soul for 5 mana is legit interaction for instance

Vampiric Blood NERF/DELETE or BALANCE; 3 Mana, +5 life, spend 5 Corpses to +5 and draw

Gnome Muncher BALANCE, 5mana, 3/5 Taunt Lifesteal, attack HIGHEST health enemy

Soul Stealer, NERF/DELETE. 8mana, 3/3, LOSE a corpse for each minion destroyed

Frostwyrm 7 mana; NERF TO 4 DAMAGE 4/4 TOKEN

Discover Rune Cards, NERF to only usable Rune cards

The entire game would be in a better place except for Pure Paladin needs nerf list too. You want a community that expands, that buys products like candy. The problem with DK is the power trade off for mana cost per turn. It's too cheap and easy to negate your opponent and stuff their entire deck's strategy.
Instance; turn 5 opponent has managed to get 3-4x cheap minions on battlefield. DK just wipes it and gains health back (+vampiric blood interaction makes this more miserable). Opponent's turn 6 they play a big minion to offset the setback they just had turn 5.. the DK just spends 3 mana and removes that. Now opponent is screwed for most part waiting for 12 turns for game to end.

    Enjoyable product= more player base
More player base = more $$
    More $$ = better product

You can make changes @BlizzardActvision, just use your free-will and get er done.

Construct quarter: Is completely fine now at 2 charges.

Vampiric blood: is fine as a trip blood rune card.

Gnome muncher: You want to kill the card.

Soul stealer: You want to make the card worse than twisting nether even though it’s 9 years newer and requires trip blood.

Frostwyrm: You want to kill the card.

Discover rune cards: A change I actually support.

There’s tuning something, and then there’s making it unplayable. Your suggestions would kill it. You being happy about that or not does not warrant it, and thank goodness emotion doesn’t dictate balance.

Also, you should know that complaining about the meta, or the decks that arise within the first few weeks means little as it has anything but settled.

posted a message on Marvel Snap vs Hearthstone
    Quote from Shipmen >>

I am not here to discuss whether this is better than HS or not. Anyway, I am very very surprised that this game already passed HS in terms of interest (measured by Google Trends). Yes, HS is going badly, but I didn't think so deeply badly. We can argue if this is a good way to measure the interest. It is anyway a good measure the Google searches based on a topic. I also added Diablo Immortal as comparison.

So, in conclusion, gg Blizzard, it seems that Ben Brode is doing a far better work than you. Marvel Snap is generating more interest than Hearthstone + Diablo Immortal, combined.

This is very funny considering that Ben Brode before was working for you. It is even funnier considering that this game, Marvel Snap, costed 2 cents compared to HS and Diablo Immortal. But probably people here don't feel scammed. So, nice strategy, Blizzard. Let's develop more cash grab, things will go perfectly, into the abyss.

This is an absolutely awful comparison. Almost every single video game with a half decent marketing campaign is extremely popular for a couple of weeks after release. This is reflected in Google data and twitch interest. Look at Nickelodeon all star brawl. It had tens of thousands of viewers for the first week or so, and if you look today, it often has absolute zero.

Longevity is far and away the key here, not momentary FOTM fuel. Could marvel snap hold interest? Anything is possible. But just because a cars exterior is shiny and flashy doesn’t mean it can handle the long road.
