I have seen such deck few days ago when was on my mid-paladin. This druid loosed absolutely easily, all game he had just few cards in hand (he got tree and nourish card draws twice but after 10 turn), and using of reno and tree of life didn't help him at all.
Quite good effect for control decks, as it helps clear the board and has 2 mitigation from enemy damage. But it is too expensive and no other effects. If it say had additionally 5 armor on battlecry or say gives 2 armor to hero on each attack it would be good card. But for current I dont think it will be playable in constructed decks.
Finally removed acolytes for deathlords. Actually you are not allways go out of cards, and deathlords helps against aggro and give more opportunity to play Brawl.
Also changed Boom for Geddon. I feel it is better removal against aggro, paladins, zoo.
And lately changed Sylvana for Gorehowl. Sylvana+Brawl is perfect, but very slow to play. And axe can act as an additional finisher quite often.
Elise is a single card and this is just win condition for mirror and priest. So you don't need to remove your threat cards like Grommash or think that you should draw Elise for sure in case it is in your deck.
Guys, afeter long testing I got some quite successful for me decklist of CW. But still can't get opinion, which card is better for surviving under aggro decks like faceshaman or zoo. 2x Slam or 2x Armorsmith? For now I think that armorsmith is better, for first turns removals we are usually trying to muligan for axe and armorsmiths can give significial armor buff, with early revenge or death's bite especially. And looks like Slam more often used as an activator for execute+draw, but not as pure survival card.
Playing on rank5 fine now, but priests (both dragon and control with entomb) wins me in near 80% games.
How to play with them? Controling board is not a way, he will anyway use lightbomb and board again goes to him. Just trying to rush without killing his minions with our weapons? It can work only with equality-concentrate at the end, and even that not guaranteed.
I was able to kill them only when they dont have lightbomb in hand after Quartemaster was used with my Loatheb next turn. But usualy he has 6-7 cards in hand and allways has an answer.
Edit: Suppose Justicar may be musthave card for that matchup, I dont have this legendray yet :(
Huh, mid hunter is not so allways difficult on my experience. Attack on traps with a guys, so not frost trap belcher or shredder. Loatheb also is perfect move on turn 5-6, when you have table and want to prevent dogs or kill kommand. And yea, you actually should have peacekeeper in hand when he moves his lion, or everything will be difficult :) Dispel also plays good with their lion or belcher
Most matches are winable and not difficult. But anyway he can oneshot you with lucky spell totem and 2-3 spells, so this matchup is one of those, where healbot can help (together with frost mage and aggro mage, against hunters on my experience there was allways better to put taunts on curve). So if you face too much aggro shamans, mages and druids it is a way to put healbot in a list. On other matchups it is dead card mostly.
Midrange paladin is really decent now. I have started to play it not so far ago. Actually just second week :) Last season I was playing aggro pal for some time but finished at rank 5 with my midrange hunter. This season hunt play is real pain so after lurking on Tempostorm midrange pal was my decision (I allways loved paladins gameplay, but never-ever will play secretadins :D). A week ago I crafted all needed epics, but I hadn't Tirion Fordring. And even without this key card I was easily sitting on rank 13-11. Today I finally did Tirion (1600 dust for a week, was lucky on good packs %) and climb to so far rang 9 just in several games.
Imo midpal is very strong against any aggro deck. Current control priests are also not so difficult if avoid Lightbomb and make good burst under Loatheb, at least easier then their dragon version.
But list Im running is not regular, it has more aggressive potential. No Justicar, no Murloc Knight, but running 2xJugler, 1xBlessing of Kings and 1x Spellbreaker for dispel. I found this card pretty decent, it has strong body and gives good threat compared to owl.
One Violet Teacher? Not a way to go. Teacher is one of the best dangers nearly in every match, and if first got instakilled by some fireball second will play much better, compared to Southsea Deckhand for example.

Anyway Elise is a good body for her cost.

I would replace Boom for Ysera. Boom is common BGH target and rarely plays good nowadays.
Even in my Druid deck I have replaced Boom with Ancient of War and without 7 attack minions deck plays better.

Or am I actually wrong and double slam is better?

Playing on EU rang 7-8 today. Near 60% of mutchups are aggro shams and hunters, healbot was really card of win in most of games :)
