If you like big EZ druid Lich King is a great large minion that is in many decks right now and for the foreseeable future. (except face decks obviously)
However I recommend you craft Aya Blackpaw, she is another great option to help with your evolve shaman and will let you play a competitive jade druid list, which is the best ladder deck right now.
Preparation because it limits how powerful they can make rogue spells,
Fiery War Axe, has the highest win rate of any card played on turn 2,
Ice Block will rotate out with quest mage I would guess,
Stonetusk Boar is potentially a dangerous card for design space. \
They only rotate classic cards and I don't believe too many more will make the hall of fame with each passing year but the 6 options above are the leading candidates.
I run a very similar deck, only subs were I cut one divine favor and one secret keeper for a second haunted creeper and a cog hammer. Im currently undefeated at rank 8. Ill give your version a try when i lose a game
Thank you for the great work, your meta snapshot is now included in the opening post as the second meta snapshot. I only combined tiers 4 and 5 since tier 4 was small and when you get past tier 3 there really isnt a noticeable difference in power.
with my deck? Be as brutally honest as can be. I don't care. Tell me what sucks and what I should add. And if it's an okay deck then that means I just suck at HS. I don't care.
Hi there, I used a control priest deck to climb to rank 4 last season in wild. I would make the following changes:
Cut: Lightwell (it sucks), Shadoboxer (usually just a 2/3), Lightspawn (strictly weak due to zoo decks being popular), Temple enforcer (not a bad card but better options), Holy Champion (weak) , Shrinkmeister (Useless without cabal shadow priest), Mindcontrol (too slow), Resurrect (too unreliable), Holyfire (bad at both being removal and healing), Mindgames (too risky with zoo decks around), and one thoughtsteal (too greedy). While this is a lot the new 11 deck slots would be better filled with, 2 museum curators, another piloted shredder, 2 deathlords, another shadow word pain, N'zoth, Excovated Evil (or 2 and swap a holynova), Sludgebelcher X2, and Lightbomb. Also potentailly swap Dr.Boom and Ysera for entomb(s).
Yeah this is basically a total overhaul but you made what I would call an OK arena priest deck but its a tempo priest deck which would lose to most other decks out there. Priest has some of the best removal tools in the game so use the and play the control game with this class. You will often not win the tempo game due to the lack of solid 2 drops for priest.
Aggro Shaman takes close to no skill, you cant get a bad draw since 50% of the deck is less than 3 mana, so you should always curve out with the hardest turn for this deck usually being turn 2, should you play flametounge totem and trade or totem golem or two more 1 drops and often all will be fine because you will have out tempoed your opponent anyway.
Zoo takes a moderate amount of skill, arguable a lot of skill to hit high legend ranks with it and to be played perfectly, however its also designed so that if you screw up its ok because you can just draw more crap to throw on the board and hope it sticks. It also has a few really broken cards right now in darkshire councilman and power overwhelming. Every class would love a 1 mana deal 4 damage card with essentially no drawback mechanism. CW also takes a moderate amount of skill. Of all the control decks this is the easiest to play in my opinion because of the forgiving nature of its removal, the removal spells being so cheap allows for faster tempo flips, which is why it is often the best choice against aggro decks right now. Priest are suffering from the opposite problem their removal is often more expensive than the minon they are trying to remove or about the same. Its when they find huge difference between the cost of removal and the minion they are killing that they can finally flip the game.
Midrange decks are usually on the more simple side of things (i.e. secret paladin) however midrange hunter takes some thought and good luck with midrange druid right now.
Freeze Mage, Miracle Rouge, Control Priest, Patron Warrior all take real skill to achieve high win rates but can also beat almost any deck when played correctly other than their hard counters and when they get unlucky.
I like to think ingenuity. Two win conditions and you only need 1 to win. Against certain match ups that can heal you need to burst them down in one turn with malygos and a select spells being discounted by the emperor (which is hard to do but what this deck is designed for) against decks without healing you can though out the game send damage spells to face and finish as soon as you draw pyroblast helping with the more aggressive match ups. Most decks run antonidas and a pyroblast and as i said before malygos is often better than antonidas right now. Id say try it for yourself and let me know how many ranks you climb.

Yeah I still think Aya is the best bang for your buck

Not really closest would be your draw card of choice but genzo is great because he is a tempo threat that wins games if unanswered

no its only a 1/5 taunt poisonous with fandral

Gadgetzan Auctioneer because it is too big of a staple card engine for too long,
Malygos because it limits design space,
Preparation because it limits how powerful they can make rogue spells,
Fiery War Axe, has the highest win rate of any card played on turn 2,
Ice Block will rotate out with quest mage I would guess,

Just went from 15-5 losing a total of 3 games. great work

lol 90% win rate from 25 wild to 11. This deck is stupid but it works. Constantly killing my opponents so quickly

I also play 2 flamestrikes in my tempo mage and am having no problems with aggro decks.

Hey there I am in agreement for the most part but I would move tempo mage to tier 2 and put N'zoth Priest in tier 1.
