Wow you're totally right. i didnt even think about the specfic wording on the card dictating the order of operations as it were. Ty for pointing that out.
Doesn't change much for my opinion of it in this deck, just the the outlook that it ever gets "fixed" is much worse. Since its not broken, just poorly worded (unless you value drawing into fatigue).
Lay on Hands and Lesser Pearl Spellstone should have great synergy together. However, LPS doesn't upgrade when you draw it from a LoH. Unlike Druids drawing Lesser Jasper Spellstone off of Ultimate Infestation, which will always upgrade it. This is an inconsistency I hope to see fixed someday, but until then I have to agree that LoH is simply too slow and weak to warrant here.
Kinda like Tirion Fordring and Val'anyr, where what you would like to happen is: When Tirion dies, you equip Val first, then Ashbringer, to continue your chain and potentially gain a huge tempo swing. Instead, Ashbringer pops first, then gets destroyed by Val, which is a huge loss in value and means you have to use Val for 2 more turns again. This is something else I wish they'd change, but until then the two don't belong in the same deck imo.
Token or aggro shaman sure, but a control shaman has just the right tools to stop cubelocks train of demons. Plus some pretty sizable aoe removal and great healing. I've done pretty decent against cubelock with my giants shaman, for example, where I'm also pulling huge sticky minions and theirs keep getting removed from their deadpools.
Looks like another 6 months of cubelock. It's a fairly new deck and the class needed some new tools to see more play so I'm not disappointed it's not getting nerfed. Hell, maybe these nerfs can finally allow shaman to step up and save us from all the cubelock hijinks.
Actually I'd rather see the AoE freezes and Ice Block nerfed rather than moved. Really fed up playing against them. Always seem to get one when I'm playing any control deck. Just my opinion.
Probably just a bit too tilted right now thinking about the match up. It's the one archetype (obviously I'm talking about Quest Mage) that has seen a few new cards introduced to support it every expansion last year. Yet still never saw much competitive success. Just sucks when I feel like I'm the guy giving this deck life. That praying on off meta control decks is your bnb bothers me.
I honestly don't want to see any nerfs to new cards. I like where the meta is right now.
One deck in the meta that shuts aggro down hasn't been enough to make aggro see no play or even not be a top tier deck.
Priest had a lot of cards that were deemed too broken right now (by myself as well) that turned out only okay. Psychic Scream is very good, but as you noted, its not too good and we need to see where things are headed before we look to nerf it.
Corridor Creeper, I think, is a conscious effort by blizzard, along with the likes of Bonemare and even Primordial Drake (remember that card?) that blizzard makes to even out the playing field. It's huge tempo swings with Corridor Creeper that give aggro a chance against the Cubelock early on. Bonemare on 7 was essentially a kingmaker for rogue and without it, tempo rogue would probably go away. Primordial Drake was and still is a great anti aggro tool. Even Patches the Pirate has remained a staple aggro tool since inception. All these were to help archetypes battle other archetypes.
Ice Block definitely needs to go away though. It's that or all the AoE freezes. All of them! Oh how I miss you Kezan Mystic.
So glad I voted for pretty boy Surrender. Such a professional. Yet he wasn't on most's radar before the games. Now he's the only one undefeated!
All I can do is ad lib one of my favorite Billy Talent songs.

I made a few changes myself and have had a pretty good 10-5 winrate at rank 8-9.
I solidified it as a midrange deck, adding more cards that can't be ignored with normal aggro tools.

I just made a deck where I put them all together as well. 10-5 so far. Your deck was an inspiration for sure, so thanks and sorry for negativity.

Is it time for the valiant return of Mr. Dodds?

i think that guy hung himself.
j/k! That joke was too ripe.
I honestly have been having a lot of fun with the experimentation's shaman has had. This deck is no exception.

ill take that to have a bunch of new class cards with new abilities/identities. Bring on the DK's/Monks/DH's.

I would be too. Mostly because I packed and already dusted 2 golden ones. But also what you said!

Brilliant. Love that at least as far as the song is concerned, definitely not "come and past" as we've proved!
Honestly its hard not to think of it whenever he plays!
