To add I jut noticed the remainder of my 1st place wins where cobalt guardian decks, so let me add to that. Highroll demons or cobalt guardians or lose.
Since updates my 1st place finishes are 93% demon comps. My 4th place and higher finishes are 84% demon comps. My lower than 4th finishes are 27% demon comps,
There will always be a best build and yes it’s all about the rng of what is offered to you assuming everyone plays optimally, there will never be no rng in battlegrounds or hearthstone for that matter.
Haven’t played the others to have an opinion on “lamest” but no doubt it’s rng heavy, over the holidays with free time played at least 2 hrs every days I climbed to around 8200. Since I’ve gone back to work sparse play has dropped me to around 6800, similar to ladder it’s absolutely a situation where you have to Play ALOT to mitigate bad rng streaks.
Started tracking my games and My win percentage climbs after updates and then sinks right before them, seems this might be because once everyone “figures out the meta” you find comps less consistently,
or to put another way after fresh changes most people don’t know what to pick so those that do win more, once everyone has been told what’s strong it comes down to who gets those minions offered to them first.
Just had this happen again today, sitting around 7800 MMR and hit losing streak down to 6744, so weird. Running into the worst RNG in long streaks. Anyone else? Next to no triples, opponents have god sniping skills, losing damn near every attack roll to worst case trade.
anyone? Is there a battleground tracking app out yet?
The ability to vent frustration in a healthy and safe manner is a good thing, You make a post raging about some bad rng roll and then you move on.
Cruising forums specifically about “salt” only to call people names like “retard” is not healthy. Creating a new profile to do so is pathological, I hope you find a healthy and safe space to vent your frustrations without attacking others.
Not sure if confirmation bias, probably is, but lately it feels really streaky. barely into 7k MMR and I’ll hit 7-8 matches in a row where I am offered only 1 or no triples. I’ll eventually hit a game where I’m handed the win. I Watch many streamers and notice the same thing, they will go 7-8 matches where they finish between 4-8 and then slam out a couple 1st or 2nd places I. A streak and then back again. Do you think this is jut rng rearing it’s head? I haven’t been recording any hard data so this is just anecdotal.
just curious, thanks for the constructive comments ahead of time
Just finished second in a match where I had less than 10 seconds each turn during the final fights. My client each time hung for at least another 30 seconds after my recruit phase was deemed over. The final time my hero power wasn’t registered, I was nefarian. My opponent meanwhile each time showed up with multipal upgrades and new minions. No way they managed this in less than 10 seconds.

remove gold rewards from casual wins and you remove a lot of the aggro decks.

Had timer go from 9 seconds to recruit, allowed me to continue selling but not buy and place. Cost me a top 2. Anyone else see this?
