 I think yes, a computer can be made to play a nice game of poker.  But, what separates poker from battlegrounds is that in poker you can bluff.  That makes a game within the game possible to exploit, and probably is a lot more important than simply making the best play every turn in like a computer algorithm.

 The original analogy I was going to use was blackjack because if you play a consistent perfect line you can stretch out a small advantage against the house. BUT I figured the first nay sayers I would get would point out that in blackjack you’re just playing against the house and other players poor play isn’t a factor,.....I would argue that point though, as if you ever had a shitty player feeding the dealer cards cause they don’t know how to play a bad player can absolutely cause problems for good players.....basically anyone that keeps feeding rafaam strong minions,

im not saying this is poker just that there is a system you can use consistently to minimize rng.

This has extended itself to 35 rolls and 2 instances of poison.

Not sure if this is satire.....don’t need another salt thread though. 

Last 14 rolls with megasaur only 1 instance of poison? Jut had a game where with brain rolled megasaur 3 times, out of 9 choices never saw poison. Stealth nerf or just horrible luck? Anyone else tracking battleground stats?

 This, zephyrs is only aware of board state. Playing zephyrs after buffing rat but before first attack would be lethal with wind fury,

Attempted this today and gained about 1500mmr, conceding matches without early synergy lost me on average 37 MMR, quickly getting to lucky runs on average got me positive 84 on average. Though at higher MMR the gains barely kept me past the losses. Which simply means to not play at higher ranks cause you need significantly more matches to gain rank. Activision is in a bad place here they have to keep adding rng so the kids can win sometimes but too much reduces the replay-ability for those that recognize what’s going on.

Better for everyone. No need to wait for animations battlegrounds is high roll or lose blizzard has kept it in beta to maximize RNG just like standard. Want proof watch any 10k+ streamer place 8th until they high roll synergies  When battle grounds first released I got up to 10k playing just 5-6 matches a day. Now you needs hours and hours to minimize RNG and gain rank,

This reminds me of WoW. It just became unfun. You’d post hoping that blizzard would somehow recapture the old magic. Other people would aggressively yell at you and claim you’re bad for not liking the game or some other invalid drivel that only people online say. Then you slowly realize that blizzard is gone and only activision remains, all of the time and money you’ve invested is gone. The game has shifted its focus. You’re angry and eventually you just accept it. This hasn’t been the game you fell in love with fir a very very long time,
