It's nice IMO. I wanted to try this card but not necessarily craft it, so I was lucky for it to be my second legend drop from packs.
Anyhoo, works well in Patron (still tweaking), but it's also a good defense in some other decks, especially when facing C'Thun decks, play it on turn 9 to make your opponent think twice before they drop Cthun, as I've had Dr. Hogger spawn multiple gnolls to soak up the C'thun pew pews.
Technical response, I know. But I think this highly underrated card is going to be top tier before long.
Having great results, has yet to pyroblast my face or astral communion but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. In fact, two games I had no business winning, played Yogg as a hail mary and won both games from way behind.
I have never even seen sorry as BM. It's probably the only emote that I have witnessed being used only when it's appropriate (like when you top deck or get top rng etc).
Seriously? You never played a mage that spammed the "Sorry" emote after every spell they cast? You are lucky, my friend. In fact, That's Incredible!
Got most of the rares and commons though, plus a ton of dust from duplicates and goldens, so I can't complain really because I can just craft what I want now.
Hmm, funny i have the exact opposite experience... had a game when I received Healing Touch, and 8 armor buff on my face, while sapping two of my opponents minions and dealing face damage to him.
Just because you see a pattern doesn't mean it's there.
I've only managed to play him twice in matches, but both times I was basically at lethal, and he completely won me the games.
Best outcome so far, opponent has a board with 4 Grim Patrons & Armorsmith, and one of Yogg's spells is Mass Dispel! Thank you!! Warrior conceded next turn... /cackle
Yea, I'm not saying it's a hard deck to beat (except some of the crazy taunt-filled druid versions), but I just see Beckoner of Evil on turn 2 and just think "oh great, here we go again".. and long comes the stream of vanilla C'Thun minions for the next 15 minutes.
More of a visual annoyance for me, not an issue of gameplay... I'm enjoying the games overall.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the new expansion so far, but every single deck seems to be C'Thun.
I realize, yes, we are all trying out the new legendary and the synergies, and yes, eventually new decks will come forward as top decks, but is anyone else *not* playing C'Thun and trying some really fun, or off the wall, or Shaman, decks?
I was fortunate enough to get Hallazeal in one of my packs, so I guess that's why I'm not playing C'Thun decks... otherwise just seems like a C'Thun race coinflip, not much fun in that from my perspective.

You guys are losing to C'Thun decks? Just play a strong midrange deck and GG.

It was polymorphed, which means, it is no longer C'Thun.
Working as intended

I just think hearing all these minions say "C'thun is my co-pilot" or whatever emotes, etc - got stuck in my head from playing last night.
So, it's like having a bad song stuck in your head, "C;thun, C'thun!!" etc.
On the flip side, my current favorite new minion intro is Undercity Huckster! lmao every time he offers his FUNNEL CAKES!!

Ahh, evolved a totem into Doomsayer today... that's always fun

Hmm, sucks.
For those who said they got one in 47, or something, that still fits within the "pity timer'.
1 in 40, or 2 in 80, means it's possible to get 1 in 79, and the 2nd on your 80th pack "of the same type".
As far as the OP's issue... maybe it was a bug, as everyone else seems to get at least 1 in 40, and often an overage of 1 in 25.
I got 4 legendaries in 97 packs so far.
