most of them are netdecking and dont know how to keep playing when they cant use their precious kazakus and reno :) i win 90% of the time against any reno deck
Oooh, evil. Good idea to stick it to the Kazakus/Reno decks! What kind of rogue are you running that in? Jades or something else?
Not to mention just plain bad luck when Reno is stuck in your bottom 5 cards, or when you get off to a terrible start and have all your late game stuff and nothing for early turns.
Good point. I guess in a way, renolock is its own counter. Requires a good level of skill and luck (key cards buried at the bottom). So I guess there's that.
but why is no one asking how to beat Renolock? (sorry renolock players but your time is up)
Hah, I think it's funny everyone asking how to beat this or that... Or claiming that it's rock>scissors>paper (i.e: dragon priest > pirate warrior > jade druid)... But no one is asking about dealing with all the Renolocks??
They are tech'ed to handle the pirates, they innately own priest, and have a burst finisher to kill druids.
Full disclosure: I love playing renolock, but just find it odd to see no recent salt threads on renolock.
My guess you have four types of players right now:
1) people experimenting with new cards, new ideas, having fun and trying to fine tune those ideas.
2) people not sure what to do so they're playing midrange shaman because well, you can beat up on the unrefined new stuff, and it's still the 'ol reliable *for now*.
3) people countering midrange shaman
4) face decks
- so do what makes you happy. and/or just play arena for now. or something else. or complain, i guess
so they get it first with reset and get cards from gadgetzan for their rank from last month gg blizzard still not out in eu
No, I'm in NA, and waited until the release to login. My rewards from rank are both WOG cards. so no worries - sure there may be a chance but also a chance to get other cards?
Does the wording work the same as Reno, as in, you 'could' have duplicates, but just as long as they are "no longer in the unused deck", then this applies (like Reno?).
Or is running 1 copy of shadowform 'good enough'? Seems most shadow priests want mind shatter-3dmg hero power, but obviously requires duplicates.
Also, sounds like you have to play this card "After" you have played one or both shadowforms? Or does the "cost (0)" apply even after something like Justicar/shadowform takes place?
Don't have him, but got one via Dark Peddler. Didn't help that game, but I'm sure he can sometimes... kind of like Yogg... sometimes great, sometimes bad, and sometimes just fizzles into mediocrity.
Shaman is absolutely dominating the ladder right now. Aggro shaman has almost no counter play to it at the moment. It almost boggles my mind that Blizz didnt nerf doomhammer..but on top of that they create a 4 mana 7/7 while nerfing BGH to 5 mana to guarantee there 0 counterplay to an obviously broken card...and to add on top of that take away all good healing and defensive minions. This has 100% ruined my experience so far because I know 1 week from now the ladder is going to be all aggro shamans because there is no reason to play anything else because it cant be stopped. Anyone else feel the same???
It does have counters, just don't play your C'Thun deck and figure it out

Wow, thanks for sharing and the detailed write-up!
I've been playing a version of evolve shaman and I agree it is the most-fun deck. I'll try this version out and see if I can improve my results.
Have you tried using big-time racketeer at all? I've had some nice evolves with that, it's like the 6-mana pantry spider.
I've won a few games at turn 6 with the doppelgangster-evolve play out of nowhere = they concede!
I'm also running a nzoth evolve in wild which adds a second win condition to long games.
cheers

If you aren't having fun, you haven't tried doppelganster evolve shaman.
Fun, yes. Unreliable & inconsistent, yes. But when it works? lolz

There's apparently a chance, but not set in stone.
I'm in NA, and just opened my chest, and the goldens are WOG, so no big deal.
