 So much agree with you. Lack of game modes is the problem. Seasonal bans, adding cards to standard, voting for cards. At least in Wild.

7-8 years ago I was playing browser collectible card game, and it had so much more variety in it starting from tournaments, endings with seasonal votes for bans and unbans. And depending on how well you performed on the ladder, they gave you votes. Guilds we’re discussing which card to ban and unban.

Being adult is better than being child.

Wild ladder is harder than Standard.

Played tutorial and didn’t like it. Didn’t like the idea that minions can’t block, left the game with unfinished tutorial. Came back few months later

But what if they are not going to announce new expansion, but a new game mod instead? Because that hand has nothing in common with ethereal portal from the year of the raven. And the hand is painted inside of the ingame frame. Mb new players mode - the hand is green and new players are also green (fresh). The fruit is lime a reward. Or pauper mod - only the half of the fruit - playing without legendaries and epics.

But ofc most probably it is going to be new expansion announcement.

Here is my idea of a Rebel leader. This card is made for players with low budget and new players, which can provide flexibility in making deck with only basic or common card.

Here are the 5 orders.

The first order is made for budget token decks, while with the 2nd order can provide a good defensive deck with Divine Shield and Deathrattle minions. The 3rd order may be able support Mage and Rogue who have cheap and strong basic spells. With the fourth order, budget players can stay a chance to play against expensive combo deck by taking their core cards if they are lucky enough. And the last order can bring some fun, RNG while also give budget players chances to play some legendaries they may never have :)

I find it hard to design this card in the most balance way possible, like whether should the 1st order give minions 1 or 2 attack, or if the last order which gives the player 3 Legendary card is too much. After a while, I think those designs are good enough, as the setback of only putting low rarity card is enough to offset the valuable effects of these orders.
