posted a message on Why do people not take the most obvious clues?

No one likes when rich people talk about their wealth. No one likes with attractive people talk about their attractiveness. No one likes when smart people talk about how smart they are.

Same thing happens to me all the time. Considering my IQ is in the top 1% and my education level is much higher than most as well, I chop it up to the fact that most people just don't function at the same level.

I tried to bring this up earlier but people just argue back. Penicillin wasnt created b/c someone was trying to make it. But they used reason, logic, and human ingenuity to discover an answer for a question that wasn't asked.

It's 100% reasonable to expect that there is an ability to understand that a standard game of hearthstone isnt happening. However people will just say, "they don't know about your achievement" or "they dont care" but the first point doesn't matter. We are the most intelligent species on earth. FIGURE IT OUT. And the idea that people dont care you are giving them a free win is silly. Some don't sure. But most are just not thinking on the same level.

posted a message on New feature idea - auto "skip" (lose) matchup

The time and programing required to add a feature that would be used by few and save only seconds for those people is ridiculous. The idea is fine, but easily shot down as not worth the effort and time that could be put to other resources.

posted a message on XP Achievement Guide - Forged in the Barrens

Copy 5 Secrets with a single Horde Operative:  There is a much easier way then trying to get lucky. Play paladin with Lorewalker Cho. Put in atleast 5 secrets. On turn 7 you can give them 5 secrets. Then assuming they play them, you can steal them back with Horde Operative. I also included the neutral legendary that draws all your secrets and time outs to stall. I got it vs a Jade Druid after 5 tries with a terrible deck.

**** The hardest part I ran into was that the opponent has to have 5 or less cards in hand to do it, but since you have to survive until turn 8 it has to be a control or midrange opponent that has the room in their hands. Be careful not to play any early secrets like Hidden Wisdom that the opponent may not trigger. If you have a secret already active before Cho, you cannot give the opponent all 5.

I got a tad lucky b/c the opponent had 6 cards in hand but got Desperate Measures after trying to play a Jade Idol when I had Oh My Yogg! secret active.

The OP is being EXTREMLY biased how he counts cards. He came up with an idea, and then FOUND data that supported his idea. Confirmation Bias. You count Scholomance Academy as only 5 of them need synergy with other cards but that simply isnt true.

If you have trouble understanding the concept just check this to see what I mean:

    Soulciologist Malicia

    Disciplinarian Gandling

    High Abbess Alura

    Doctor Krastinov

    Ras Frostwhisper

    Shan'do Wildclaw

    Archwitch Willow

    Mindrender Illucia

    Mozaki, Master Duelist

    Professor Slate

    Headmaster Kel'Thuzad

    Vectus

I think the bigger issue is people arent very intelligent. I tried playing with Lorewalker Cho and GIVING them Oh My Yogg right before death, they STILL dont even try.

Intelligence has nothing to do with it. 99% of the players probably don’t even know this achievement exists, while the other 1% don’t care if the opponent gets it or not.

That literally is what intelligence is... Unbelievable this response is considered an adequate answer in some peoples mind. Not knowing something exists but understanding there is a bigger picture is a part of what intelligence is, you know,,, deduction? Sometimes people figure out answers to questions they didn't even know existed. People on forums want to be politically correct and act as if certain people arent more intelligent than others.

OP, you're the one out here on an inconsequential internet forum beating your fists against a wall..... I wouldn't cast aspersions about the intelligence of others, you dig?  :)

I can't remember the best way to respond to this argument. I skipped Troll class in Grad School because I could ace it without going. But now I cant remember if I am suppose to acknowledge your argument works not only against any post but your own post as well. Or maybe I am suppose to purposely get upset and make fun of you later? Crap now I think I am suppose to 100% just ignore you. I mean, logically I feel like I should explain that I am not beating my fist against the wall but then I think that leads others to making fun of me for defending myself.

Crap I think we learned about this right after the chapter on "it's just a game." I'm not sure how I got an A in that class now that I'm stressing over this response. Actually now I am remembering that even if I was able to prove your argument wrong, I immediately LOSE by hitting reply. Crap well played man. I lost this time. But not like a "fake loss" where you say something like, "have a nice day" but you really want them to get hit by a card. I mean I legit lost.

Don't hate the player, hate the game, bro. You're attacking a lot of harmless civilians with those comments.

It's not our fault they made the achievement so difficult to trigger and it's nobody's responsibility to play along with what you're doing except yours.

    So...

Thank you, I was begining to feel bad for my post but you reminded me who I was talking to. You know, people who think I believe it's their "responsibility."

You remind me of a pet. Can't think any further than what jumps to your mind immediately.

Hey man, I put a lot of thought into that comment. I even went and found that picture. I am really proud of it.

Just don't go complain on forums and call everyone an idiot and expect any sympathy. Be nice, and maybe people will be nice to you.

There's some guy out there that was also looking to try and get this achievement, had this whole plan to try and queue up games at the same time to try and match with another person on purpose... maybe they would like to help you. If it's even possible.

How many times are you going to put words in my mouth and expect me to keep interested? Again, you ARE the person that never gets it... I didnt call everyone an idiot and I also didn't read past the part you lied. Good bye sir.

Word of advice. When you grow up and have to talk to people in the real world, if you treat them like this you will get your neck knocked in.

You aren't wrong. You can also be walking down the street and have someone shoot you in the head for no reason. Intelligence trumps strength now-a-days. Not always, but usually. Problem is nothing beats crazy.

What do you want me to say. I haven't attacked all game, I play 2 weapons back to back that deal 10 damage to me. Then I play a card that plays all my secrets and it only plays one. Then the other player tries as hard as they can to play around my secret to "seal the deal" and get their win...

Yeah, they won't be getting their neck knocked in. Nether will you or Pherosizm. But I'm guessing you guys also won't be confused for Sherlock Holmes anytime soon.

It blows my mind how often I get in situations where I OBVIOUSLY do not care about wining and people still play like their life depends on it. I'll go down to 1 health vs 30; I havent attacked ALL game; I play Lorewalker Cho and give them Oh My Yogg as well as a lethal spell; yet still they play around my secret and then kill me. Over and over and over again.

Of course I don't anticipate people on this forum being any more intelligent. In the past people respond with arguments like, "of course they are going for lethal, they are playing a game to win." Yeah... thats how my cat thinks... Every time I go to feed them they act like if they dont hurry they wont get it. "OH FOOD, BETTER EAT!" Be smarter people, observe what is happening, think more, react less.

I will say I do get maybe 1 in 25 who either understand or atleast friend request and ask what is going on. On a side note, how many years are we now where sending a friend request crashes IOS games?

People dont ever accept friend request from my experience. This past month I sent out 37 consecutive friend request and not a single person accepted. I wonder if maybe friend request don't always work.

That is one of those achivements that you are not supposed to chase, it's more have an "Get rewarded for a memorable moment" Achivement.

     This. C'mon guys.

Why should I be suprised with these kinds of ignorant responses... Look at the player base. Where to start?

First, even IF you are correct, it doesn't address the argument or complaint. So I hope you don't plan on being a lawyer, although a politician would work great for you. Second, the quest rewards XP as well as all the other similar quest are not insanely difficult indicating its not the type of quest you believe it is. Third, you didnt address the argument or complaint, which in and of itself is worth like 100 reasons this reply is dumb.
