It will not choose an ability it already has, so it can't waste a turn. -

DoubleSummon posted a message on What do you think the sleeper card of the expansion is going to be?Posted in: Card DiscussionIsn't it obvious? It's Dozing Marksman, as his flavour text suggests.
But in all honesty I think there are many cards with great potential and we can't really decide which will be the most played one, until we actually test them and compare the power levels of the decks they are used in. I personally think, that Gurubashi Offering is one of the underrated cards. I am not saying it's 5 stars or anything, but I just think people are downgrading it due to its effect not being an immediate one. I think, that we can easily play it on turn 1, behind a taunt or after a clear and we will get the health bonus. But even if someone decides to throw a charger at it, it would act as a soft taunt.
and then you gain.. 8 armor and lose the minion too.. that card is horrendously bad 0/2 taunt for 1 is also terrible

Xrazoc posted a message on The Headless Horseman Rides is This Week's Brawl!Posted in: NewsAs a veteran player Cat is the one that I pick for the win.
I always win with cat on 1st try.
Tundra Rhino is the key for making more cats, check the hp on each enemy minion (except for boss minion) and play Tundra Rhino after the boss has used up Shadow Word: Pain and Fear, unless you got another Tundra Rhino from Infest

Xman682 posted a message on How High Can I Climb? A Casual Player’s Attempts to Climb the LadderPosted in: NewsTip for casual players: always keep in mind what your opponent can do. Ask yourself “If I play this, what’s the worst case scenario?” “What does the deck my opponent is playing want to do next turn?” I found that my games got a lot easier when I started considering my opponent’s plan. Good luck, future climbers!

My tip for the more casual players is just to make sure the deck you are playing isn't putting you on tilt when you are climbing. Lose a bunch of games in a row? Switch decks, or take a break. When you play tilted you play worse.

sadly this doesn't work. many decks now tech in cards to help in the cubelock matchup, or they play decks that just counter it. Definitely tough to play in the higher ranks when there is a lot of Quest Rogue and Spiteful Druid

C'mon this isn't really fair. I don't agree with his point, but if you don't agree with the way the game is going, the way to show is definitely not buying packs. The casual players that rarely buys packs vastly outnumber the people who whale and buy thousands worth of packs.

oh my god...

You'd have like $50

I think Corridor Creeper is just 100% of the time a better card than the Crystal Lion

is it really worth it to run Val'anyr?

Wow... it's almost like hard removal punishes all big threats like this...

They weren't intended to be equally easy I don't think. They wanted people to be able to get the free pack (Priest) as well as be able to have a challenge (Warrior, Mage).

Really don't feel like the card is good enough to deserve this nerf.
