posted a message on libram and soul fragment packages are op

I'm really astonished how much hate paladin has been getting for actually having a playable archetype. It wasn't long ago that everyone was making fun of Paladin because they kept getting half-baked garbage archetypes in each set and now that they have something that works reasonably well, people start to complain about it. Librams are totally fair, especially compared to things other classes can do. Libram of Wisdom gives a +1/+1 buff, which isn't exactly insane, and can be ruined via silence or transformation effects. Libram of Justice is just a viable paladin board wipe since consecration and equality are both garbage. Libram of Hope is strong, but can be dealt with via removal. Considering the capability of other classes to drop huge threats ahead of curve (druid ramp, Flesh giant in Warlock/Priest, Mana Giant in mage, etc...) what Paladin does with its libram package is totally fair.

posted a message on You people deserve sweet f all - Opinion on the community

I generally agree with this sentiment. As someone who's played Hearthstone since the beginning, I can honestly say two things: 1) People will always take part in the circle jerk of hating on Blizzard for anything and everything; and 2) the game has gotten much, much better since its launch. Nowadays, we get duplicate protections, free packs with tavern brawls each week, guaranteed legendaries, seasonal events with extra rewards, continuous balance changes, and increased quality in overall aesthetics and card design. I honestly don't know how the haters could be satisfied: if no new sets are released, or if new sets are underpowered, they complain about the stale meta game; if a new set is released and shakes up the metagame, they complain that their old decks are useless and it's too expensive to keep up. If control is dominant, they complain that games take forever; if aggro is dominant, they complain that games are over by turns 3-5; if midrange is dominant, they complain that it's "curvestone;" if combo is dominant, they complain about the game being solitaire.

Ultimately, the Hearthstone community is shockingly toxic, and it's infuriating how entitled people generally behave. Right now, people can't seem to refute the calculations that some people have made noting that rewards are equivalent or greater under the new system for most people and instead say they're upset about Blizzard "lying," as if the system didn't undergo changes during development and the comment period. I don't like dishonesty, but it's apparent that people are simply using this as a pretext to justify their complaints.

Is this thread dead? It hasn't been updated in nearly two months even though a new expansion releases in only a few days.

The Wild description for Kayn should be  changed, as it  currently reads that Odd Demon Hunters can run him. It should say "excluding odd," rather than "including odd."

I have to say that I've been pretty impressed by Galakrond the Unbreakable and Deathwing, Mad Aspect in my tempo warrior shell. Deathwing is a great card, acting as either a board clear or a piece of single target removal that leaves a sizable body behind. I definitely think it's being slept on right now.

posted a message on Rise of Shadows Card Nerfs - What Do Pros Want To See Smacked?

Ugh, I'm tired of people complaining about standard cards. The meta is quite healthy right now, and nerfs are only going to neuter the most popular/most optimal decks rather than fixing any kind of brokenness. The only things that really need to be looked at right now are in wild. Big Priest is getting extremely out of hand and something needs to be hit in order to balance it out. Darkest Hour Warlock might not be as consistent as other strategies, but it's still too easy to pull off a 0 counterplay win. Not sure what to do to fix it, but these two need to be looked at.

I'm personally not a fan of seeing King Mosh in Tier 5. It may have changed since RoS's release, but it was a great card in Wild Odd Warrior as a way to both clear the board and add an additional threat.

Got my first golden legendary... its Cenarius! Should i disenchant him or is it any good in some Druid deck? I wanted to craft Alex for it.. not sure if its worth..

I would say it depends on what you already have in your collection. Cenarius is a decently strong and versatile card, but he just doesn’t really fit into any of the modern Druid archetypes. If you have other legendaries or cards for decks that you want to play, and aren’t strapped for dust, I’d say hold on to Cenarius, because it might eventually see some play. Also, if you care at all about golden cards, since golden legendaries are so rare that might be another reason to keep him.
On another note, Alexstrasza is currently seeing play in Kibler’s N’zoth Kazakus Mage, which is surprisingly strong. If you have the cards for it, and enjoy the singleton or control archetype, I’d suggest giving it a shot. I just hit rank 3 with it earlier this evening, and it’s an absolute blast to play (I just swapped out Elise for Skulking Geist to deal with several otherwise unfavorable matchups).

If you have him, Tinkmaster Overspark, maybe? I haven’t had a chance to try it out, but it provides a neutral polymorph effect to punish cube and resurrect plays.

So, I'm sitting at just short of 13,200 dust, and want to craft Rin. Is it worth crafting her in golden, or is it safer to craft a regular version of her?

Edit: For reference, I already have every listed Staple Tier legendary with the exception of Prince Keleseth.
