It doesn't go well together with Call to Arms which is going against this card. However if dragon paladin will see a play in standard one day, this will be undoubtly one of the best 2-mana slot picks.
This might be a really powerfull control deck card. However I don't feel I like this continuos idea of your win chance being significantly raised if you draw a certain one card from your deck (Looking at you Prince Keleseth!).
This card is not a trash. It might see play in decks which utilize from cheap minions/handsize/tokens and also in arena (even though i'm not the arena specialist, so I am open to your opinion).
However what I wanted to say is that this is possibly the most interesting reveal video I've seen so far. Great job Allie!
Guys this is not The Boogeymonster! This one can actually be triggered and it also has one extra stat comparing prices. It may find a spot in some kind of midrangy deck if it will be a thing, in my opinion.
Kingsbane Rogue has 0.3% popularity while meta decks usualy have over 1.5%, thus it's not even close to being a meta deck. Moreover I rarely meet one on ladder outside floor ranks which just confirms these stats.
Deck being well known doesn't mean it's a meta.
Kingsbane is in 3.5% of all Standard Ranked decks played in the last month.
I was talking about the popularity of the most popular deck on hsreplay as well, but if you want to compare cards okay I did some research, Skull of the Man'ari has over10% usage, Spiteful Summoner8.3%, Aluneth8.7% and Sunkeeper Tarimover 16%.
Do you still think that your 3.5% Kingsbane is even close to meta?
Edit: Jade Idol has 3.5% too and I am pretty sure it is not in ladder meta since Kobolds, also Thrall, Deathseer has almost 3%, so according to your logic it is meta too, right?
I don't want to be offensive or something, I just want to say that niche deck like Kingsbane Rogue is not and due to its situationality and inconsistent early to mid game will never be a ladder meta deck. It may be a thorn in your side and it can beat you consistently if you are a control/value player but it is not what meta means.
I'm using YOUR logic. You stated indicated 1.5% as a threshold for meta status. I've shown by your own definition that Kingsbane-based decks have meta status. You are disagreeing with yourself.
Did you even read my comment? Percentage i stated in original post is popularity of the most popular deck of archetype. What you brought was usage of certain card in % of decks. Those are completely different stats!

"Aaaand surprise ... there's a rank 1 ..." - Best video intro I've seen for a long time!
To deck structure. I play Control Mage hell of a lot myself and it got me to Legend as well (not rank 1 though) so here is my little contribution.
- Baron Geddon is not a substitution for Alexstrasza, I would still include her. -Skulking Geist is a tech against Combo Priest as well, not only against extinct Jade Druid, keep that in mind and smash it in if you faced a bunch of priests in last games. - I would use Plated Beetle over Medivh's Valet, but its matter of taste (Valet being better against murlocs though) - Dirty Rat is meh in the world without Raza Priest, at least for me. I prefer Tar Creeper
However, give it a try, it is fun and skilltesting deck and also viable in this meta, which is rare combination!

Girls are very decent, flexible for almost any deck and f2p friendly. I like this!
Gilnean Royal Guard is actually "deal 8 damage to a minion and summon 8/3". Not bad, not bad at all.

Obsidian Shard haven't seen much of play yet, so I am a bit sceptical about this one.

Hey Flux, Zetalot's Priest shouldn't be taged as Razakus, I guess.
