Recently I have been trying to screw around with some decks that ive made by myself, mainly Control Paladin and Big Hand Mage, yet im not able to get past rank 7 because of all the aggro insanity thats going on in there, and my decks just cant keep up.
Considering I have a respectable collection, missing only the epics and legendaries and some dust to work with, what is the best deck to commit to creating in order to get into the higher ranks?
Its due to one, very simple fact. Im f2p and I barely have any golden cards. Its a very comfortable way to craft one expensive card but it actually gives a lot of value.
So here it is. A new expansion has come, and with it, my usual crafting anxiety is striking with full power. Its tough to be f2p in a game like this.
I have been playing hearthstone for more than 4 years now and Boomsday has given me a rather weird consideration, that I never even thought about before. Usually, when I craft a card, I do it because the card is really strong and in the meta.
But when I saw the new Whizbang card, and realized its depth I was immediately like '' I'm going to craft a golden Whizbang '', mainly because it turns the whole deck into golden copies, and the deck recipes are solid (of course that they are not meta strong) and fun- a thing I usually dont consider when I play HS.
So, considering that I have about 5k dust availible, should I just go ahead and screw around casual and ranked HS with a golden Whizbang deck or to just go ahead and craft something like a Malygos Druid deck (or any other meta deck like Zoolock or Odd pally, you get the idea...).
On the one hand, I really want to hit a high rank, but I really want to do it with a fun and not repeatitive deck.
-another thing that might help- I have a pretty respectful card collection, mainly for Warlock, Mage and Paladin.
During Kobolds and Catacombs I mainly played a CubeLock deck. I have most of the cards and the deck is truly powerful. Yet the deck is repetitive so at some point it becomes reallly boring . Even Pally does seem like a solid choice and Ill try to find a list that could work. Thanks!
So recently I decided that I want to hit that sweet rank 5 mark (or even below if things will work nicely) . There was only one time before that I hit this achievement, which was during the Murloc Knight madness. Ive been playing HS since the very beginning yet it was mainly for having fun and playing casually, yet I do think Im an above average player.
Now, usually I can find myself a deck that I like and enjoy, yet during TWW it didnt happen, and I want to be sure that I invest my dust properly. Can anyone please recommend me a deck that a deck that could work?
Would like to thank you guys for the overwhelming support and idea- sharing.
The main idea behind the thread was to share the feeling that I now know a lot suffer from, which is the "feeling" for a deck. There is nothing more satisfying, for me at least, to outplay your opponent after a well- thought game. Thats why I like to play the midrange-control type of decks, and thats why im attracted towards even pally and some-kind-of-druid deck.
I do also think that Even Pally outclasses the Odd versions. Since I have more dust than usual, about 6k, I think that I will eventually go for Druid or Paladin. the question is, Since there are so many versions of Even-Midrange Paladin and Druid decks and I am willing to use most of my dust, what do I go for. Its a really tough question
I have been thinking mainly about making a druid or paladin decks, because none of the other options seem viable. furthermore, pally and drood and classes that I barely play and I surprisingly have a respectable amount of the important cards for each. Since both of them seem equally attractive for me, I dont know what should I pick
Since the release of the new expansion I'm having a lot of tough time. Mainly because, I cant find myself a deck that I enjoy playing. I find myself on losing streaks, frustrated after losing games I should have won and surrounded by the feeling of being lost
I know that its a very special time in HS, with the meta not being fully known. Yet because I usually reach high ranks on ladder, not surpassing rank 15 feels very weird to me.
Would love to see any of your suggestions, mainly decks that one could enjoy through a period of time without getting burnt out (for example, I have a full CubeLock deck that I played *a lot* during the time between C&C and TWW, yet because of its repetitivness I stopped using it). Dust isnt much of a problem.
I have most of the cards for this deck, yet im missing two mysterious challengers and Tirion, and you just cant play this deck without them. Appreciate your help!
I need some help with the new Wildbrawl. What I mean is, that since im a f2p player i dont see myself doing it again. so I really want to maximize the run that im going to do. I have seen that there is a nice version of CubeLock and this is a deck that I have almost everything for, except for spiritsinger umbra. I have been playing HS for about three years so I have multiple "powerhouse" cards from the wild set.
I would really appreciate your help about what deck I should be using (but dont include all of the Malygos decks that are being run right now... i disenchanted him a while ago and it makes me feel sad)
Honestly my conflict got nailed down to CubeLock or some version of Aggro Paladin. I tend to go for CubeLock because I already own most of the cards, and I only miss Spiritsinger Umbra and Taldaram, which I really don’t know whether I should craft them or not. I know it’s a more difficult deck to play, but I think mastering it which I know that with time I could do, and then I’ll be able to get up the ranks.
I haven’t done still any crafting for any of these two types of decks, because I’m lacking only the legendary cards, which are a huge investment for me.

"honestly in the same boat. Not only am I having trouble finding a fun deck, but I'm also having trouble finding a deck I can consistently win with. "
describes exactly how I feel

would you say that those decks are Odd, Even and Murloc Paladin, Spideful Drood, Cubelock and control warlock?
And I guess that some taunt warrior and miracle rogue
