I think you should cut Vargoth the deadly poisons and maybe the weapons. You probably need some 2 drops like Bloodsail Raider - I think that card is really good in pirate rogue even when you don't really buff your weapons.
I play a slight variant of the deck recipe pirate rogue deck and it's doing okayish
Anything is manageable in Wild, even without the nerfs. Although important, it's not a sufficient criterion.
Well there was the short reign of druid after Boomsday Project was released. The Aviana nerf was much needed though I have to say I enjoyed playing in that peticular meta we had there (I was not playing druid).
Indeed, despite how oppressive SA Druid was, the meta was 'manageable'.
That goes showing that 'manageable' applied to more popular or top tier decks is not enough to tell if the game mode is in a good state or not.
There is currently no deck as opressive as SA (or the other combo druid decks). Wild is in a good state. We have aggro, control, midrange and combo decks in the meta and imo none of them is too strong.

Think about what wild is right now, mostly Genn and Baku decks and Barnes/Rez priest. All of these are three cards that the community has been complaining about and begging blizz to fix for a while..
I disagree. Big priest is an often appearing deck but it is managable. As for Genn and Baku decks they are not as dominant as they used to be before the cold blood/flametounge nerf. There is the occasional even Shaman and odd Paladin but the decks are fair and have clear counters. Genn and Baku are strong cards but not op and not as op as they were in standard last year (or in wild before the nerfs).
wild is pretty balanced every class has at least one playable deck.
Some classes even have multiple good decks. I think it is in a very good spot atm. The nerfs last year helped alot. I don't really think that new nerfs are necessary
Ragnaros and Lich King should be your safest bets. Both are playable in almost every midrange or control deck. Personally I prefer Ragnaros over Lich King but both should be good choices.
I mainly play wild ranked for rank 5 chest, then some standard ranked the ocasional TB for the pack or quests and some solo pve content (dungeon runs and witch hunt).
I don't play casual because there is no need for me to do so. Once I've hit rank 5 in wild I don't care about losing stars in either mode and climbing from rank 7-9 to rank 5 in wild is easy enough if you have the right deck so I usually achieve it pretty early in the season.
Whizbang moving to standard makes sense. Toki not so much. Toki is fine as a wild legendary that generates another wild legendary. She won't see much play but then again she also sees next to no play in standard. I. as a mage player, also see no reason why mage should have an additional legendary in standard when the other classes have not.
big priest is imo a bad matchup for Reno mage. My suggestion is playing a more aggressive deck. Personaly I have great success with my secret/aggro mage against it.
I play Secret Mage in wild and so far I have no problems with playing against big priest. Have yet to encounter a DH WL but I think the matchup should be doable as most WLs are
Mage's defense is freezing the enemy. We got Ray of Frost as a new defensive tool and frost nova + doomsayer is still a thing (board clear at turn 5). Zilliax is also a good turn 5 minion which heals you and is a taunt.
Though I have to say I am kinda disappointed that there was no 1 drop for mage in this set. It was kinda needed and I hope that the next set has one
Ray of frost is a good card but only usable on tempo mage to be honest. I actually think it can fall into a midrange/control type of deck if only those types get support.
Zilliax good yes, i forgot about him.
Yeah I agree. A nice 1 drop would help a ton!!
I have to disagree on ray of frost only being good on tempo mage. I currently play a light variant of the deck recipe deck (took out Malacrass and added an acidic swamp ooze) and ray of frost has been amazing for me so far. It's versatile, cheap and I mainly use it for freezing, not for damaging. It's also great that when you use it the first time it doesnt shrink your hand size so that you can have a better astromancer turn. You don't actually have to remove the enemy minions. As long as I get to survive the first 5 turns with about half my health and I have a blizzard in my hand games tend to get won by the sheer amount of value you get from turn 7+ with astromancer, tools of creation and conjurer's calling.
Though I have to admit so far I didn't really face that many board swarm decks. Most of my enemies are bomb warriors or some kind of rogue (thief or lackey) and those enemies don't really go wide that often and when they do it's in turn 6+ when I can blizzard and flamestrike the board.

I play a little variation of the deck recipe deck, conjurer's calling is definitely strong. I took out Malacrass and added an ooze for all those warriors and rogues. I have good results with the deck and climbing the ladder is ok, deck is a little bit slow but you have so much value with conjurer's calling, astromancer, Khadgar and the tools of creation spell. Most decks I faced so far couldnot deal with multiple 7+ drops. Getting 4 reckless rocketeers on turn 10 with Khadgar and tools of creation is a great finisher.

but that is wrong. Genn, Baku and the juicy psychmelon were meta defining in wild and led to multiple nerfs

Was playing Whizbang, Murloc Shaman seems strong, haven't lost a game with it.
Kalecgos is probably also strong, as is the conjurer's calling spell.
Mixed results with Paladin.
I don't really like the heal druid deck.
Can't say much about the other classes.
