You guys are kinda crazy to call this bad.

Control Pally I'd play 1 copy of this, even though brann unfortunately won't be with us, it still has a high value in control games. Plus it works well with handbuffs!

Warrior quest and Pally it'll definitely see some play, obviously depends how aggro based the game's gonna turn out to be

Nah I've done that change in my list and it works completely fine, all about preference

You're very right, thats a replacement I made since I made this change. No downside to losing battlecry now :) Thanks for reminding me to make the change to the decklist though.

Sylvanas and Chillmaw (Makes N'zoth good enough, like seriously)

    Shifting Shade

Museum Curator x2 (With brann ability even more)

    Entomb Targets

Give it a shot and you'll see!

Tell me the decks you've played against, and where your issues were! I'll try and break down those matchups to the best of my ability, sorry you don't seem to be finding success.

I KNOW I KNOW! You don't know how much I love Deathwing man, It's just unfortunately not a high enough impact on the board until your opponent kills him, which they usually just won't do. and if he gets sapped its over,

I replaced him for a different new card though! It's not the same but still I tried /:

    Yeah the matchups are essentially
    Grim Patron 100% win Rate

    Aggro Shaman 30-40% win Rate

    Tempo Mage 40% win Rate

Those are the important ones. Aggro Shaman makes this deck so difficult to succeed, because with every 4-5 games I play I often find one Aggro Shaman to screw my day or boost my confidence. But it's really a streak killer and since its so common I really see issues.

Tempo mage pretty much wins when they face it the whole time and you don't draw excavated evil.

The rest of the matchups aren't very difficult for me, and I don't really find myself losing to any other decks besides the occasional Zoo or rogue aggros I see when I don't have excavated evil.

I will begin streaming with this deck ove rthe weekend, I hope you can stay tuned and watch, I will highlight them if any of you guys miss the games, but I want to see y'all succeed. Besides that Ysera is a really amazing card that would be great to have, I will respond again when I finally get some sleep, and have advice to give. If you want/have any specifics then let me know

Replace Dragonlord with N'zoth then if you think so. I mean, I'm basing this off of how i've been playing and how its worked out, you need 3 boardclears. You also can get Dragonlord out of Museum Curator, and though It's fun you don't need it and I'd rather have N'zoth, because it actually makes an insane impact when on the board.

And check my comment below, but 2 northshire clerics aren't needed in this deck, in my opinion (haven't played control priest yet) but Northshire isn't as good as it was now and also it has its specific purpose, it get rekt by flame imp, and way too many other early game cards for me to make space for 2 of them in this deck,

You can also just play 2 northshire clerics... Its a free card. Just put it instead of a couple other cards and see how it works out for ya man. Best of luck

Say less! I've been drowning in school work and have been trying to appease these critics in the comments so I couldn't really do anything, but since its the weekend I will do everything I can to put an in depth video guide out by the end of it so you guys can see the playstyle and important choices you need to make versus matchups!

Extra win-condition, helps you contest with the much slower decks and pretty much is why my win percentage versus nearly all control decks has been extremely high 90s.  It is a high impact card that creates a huge presence on board that can't just be ridden with a board clear.

Brings back the 2-4 curator targets, Chillmaws, Shifting Shade, Sylvanas, and then you opponents cards that you could get from sylvanas and entomb.

it sounds gimmicky, but vs the N'zoth Pally matchup I always save my entomb for their tirion if I can and then not only does their n'zoth lose value but mine gains huge value.

Its a great power play in the late game, and once you play it the things that can deal with it are - Vanish, Brawl, Doom, and Twisting Nether

It also has a huge surprise factor, because when they go against dragon priest, they see oh okay, I just need to dismantle their board control and they can't really come back. They use resources like the cards I listed above in attempt to make it so once you're out of big dragons and everything that the game is over, but as soon as you play N'zoth and they've got nothing, you put the control matchup in a near impossible state of return.

Give it a shot and let me know what ya think!

How has shadow word horror been working for you, I'm curious. I didn't think it would be good. I essentially play this exact list, the lack of Chromaggus does make me sad, but I just don't play the second northshire and instead play excavated evil. If you think Shadow Word: Horror's been doing you good then by all means use that instead.

Also if you haven't yet give nefarian a chance in Chromaggus' place, having a dragon in hand is important and so are the big minions, so yeah! Plus the reason I played chromaggus was also because Deathwing didn't let battlecries activate, taking huge amounts of value from Nefarian if you played it.

As amazing as they were in the original dragon priest decks with Velen's Chosen, they don't impact the board well enough, they aren't a good turn one play versus almost every match up I've played against, and you really just use northshire cleric when you can secure a draw, or when you know it is safe, to bait a removal spell, or to fill your curve,

Dragon priest unfortunately had transformed to a much slower playstyle than before, because the aggro deck that is most popular right now (aggro Shaman) has minions that just handle all of the early game now.

And you don't often get to draw from northshire cleric to begin with because I play only one holy nova, and thats essentially the only healing spell that i play. I love northshire, but right now isn't good in my dragon priest deck

Hey man, I still haven't made it to rank 2-3 so haven't been able to test at that rank yet, though this deck struggles against aggro shaman decks, I don't find it too difficult with this deck at my rank (early rank 7 and still climbing)

I'm curious what types of decks you're facing and losing too at rank 2-3, and what specific aspects of the matchup lead to your loss.

There aren't many recent changes to the decklist, I just added a new aspect and win condition to the list because originally it was just a regular dragon -priest deck which just didn't have enough power to the minions played. Before I posted the changes I played 70 games on ladder, and realized this version is more successful, and I spent those 70 games refining this new list before posting it to make sure it succeeded, and it let me climb from 19 to where I am now. (not as impressive as your rank but still)

Anyways please PM me or reply with the info about where it's failing at the higher ranks, thank you for the feedback !
