I've also been tinkering with a Meeting Stone rally deck. Have you considered Darkmoon Statue as a 3-drop? I guess it depends how often you have a full board but it works well in my list.
Oh! I really like that idea! Will definitely try it out!
Any thoughts? With the Adventurers, I've been having a lot of fun with this build! Very, very, VERY much a meme deck, but can pull off a lot of fun wins. I've been trolling D5 with this deck all day, mainly to complete the adventurers achievement, but I've been pleasantly surprised with how well it does.
Oh boy, a period of turn one shenanigans where people draw their entire deck and take down their opponent in one turn, where the winner is decided by who goes first.
At least it’s an easy pack.
This is very true. I made a Recruit Druid deck and had 30 armor on turn 1, and a board full of huge minions thanks to getting Zzeraku the Warped from Cenarion Ward. I actually felt really bad for my opponent. I'm so sorry, whoever you were.
That's a great point. But I feel like if you're facing a Priest, for instance, the majority of cards in their hand will be spells or important minions, though, so truly any target is a good target. I think the same goes for Ramp Druid and Control Warrior, but perhaps to a slightly lesser extent than Priest. Maybe against Warlock it's a bit trickier because of their cheap minions, specifically Luckysoul Hoarder.
idk, i think it's pretty cool. definitely depends on the matchup. obviously against no minion mage or paladin, it's not great, but against warlock, corrupt priest, control warrior, primordial druid - it's amazing. imagine if it eats y'shaarj or n'zoth. (or tickatus!) high chance that by turn 7 it's going to eat a win condition card against those kinds of decks, i think.
I fully agree, but have an obsession with trying to use him. Ultimately, I might take him out in favor of The Nameless One or something else. Any suggestions for what to replace him with?
Recently updated the deck to include Caravans - and that's been incredibly fun and rewarding. Thanks to Dragonmaw Overseer, I can often get them to stick for a while, and the value they generate is much needed for this deck.

This could lead to some very interesting Celestial Alignment plays...

true, but because of its mana cost, i don't see this being used in aggro decks. and you're absolutely right, it's definitely got dirty rat vibes.

I've tried this actually! And it's fun but not incredibly successful...

That was pretty epic man!

I don't know to break this to you lightly, but Priest is not what's making this meta unplayable...
(tbh the lack of card diversity is what's making this meta awful across the board, which is to be expected with the first expansion of the year.)
