Just a thought on skull of gul'dan. Its strength is that it does fit the lore however the weakness is that, as Nurgling says, there is no reason for it to be limited to one per deck beyond the fact that there is only one of its namesake. If it was another week and it was called demonbuff no one would call it op as a rare. I also think you are assigning too much value to tagging something as a demon. There is not much synergy that I can think of to warrant usin a card to make something a demon. When would an opponent allow you to use a three card combo to buff a minion? Most decks running demons would prefer a card that buffs demons over one that doesn't.
this weeks concept is a hard one to grasp and I think that is because we have no real examples to look at so when you use existing spells as a template their effects are not going to produce a card that has the uniqueness required. It took me quite some time to come up with something that actually made sense lore wise and mechanically to be limited to one. Whether it is actually a good idea or not is up to everyone else but I am satisfied that my entry fits the criteria now. What do people think
As as for classic pack I agree wholeheartedly with Nurgling. The way Agithore has behaved over it is unacceptable. Most people would be mortified that they had accidentally used someone else's idea if indeed it was accidental. This guy is revelling in it. You may get the most votes mate but the voters are more discerning in the final. I have faith in the system. Let's see if it proves worthy.
Btw, that's the maelstrom, not the well of eternity -_-
So I don't know how unlucky have you people been, but I was playing arena the other day, thought i got a decent deck, was hoping for 10+. And then I come across a palading with Justicar + 3xSteward + Tirion... And a warlock with a zoo deck, identical almost to the one I play in constructed - Leeroy, - Gormok... Can you please teach me how to draft like that?
Going to take out po's, maybe both, and soulfire. Out of 60 games played, it hasn't won me a single one, and out for the 19 losses, I lost at least 12 times thanks to double spell in opening hand.
Infuriating and way too rng dependant. What's that? You're playing against a nzoth pally? Of course you won't get ooze for the entire 20 turn duration. What's that? You're playing against shaman? Of course you won't draw doomsayer ever. What's that? You're playing against zoo? Of course you won't draw a single clear...
Roping is an effective technique . Not only do you tilt your opponent, but also you think your turn through and contemplate on the possible following turns. If you get easily tilted by such simple things, you shouldn't be playing a card game...
