I have stolen 2 minions in the same direction in a game a few days ago where Silas stayed on my side of the board, and the direction could be chosen twice , 2 other minions moved to the opponent's board.
This particular other case where the second rotation was random, very likely was caused because Silas moved to the opponent's side, opponent had 3 minions, I had just Silas on board so he was the one that rotated first.
