posted a message on Bad News about HearthPwn

So it seems that the BEST hearthstone community site is shutting down at the end of June. This is devastating news to the HS community. Has to why they are closing we dont know yet. Is there anyway we can keep the site alive? Is the site for sale? What will curse/fandom do with it? I'm sad. But, we finally learned Fluxs name, Thanks Robert for taking the time to bring us such awesome content. Hopefully you stay around somehow or move to a different site so we can still enjoy reading your articles.

Until then, it's been a pleasure Flux as well as everyone behind the scenes at Hearthpwn. Hope to see you around. Take care and Thanks!!

Imagine the Life of those Who watch an "event" like a HS tournament, to begin with.

What about it?  My life is awesome and I love watching the old version of hearthstone tournaments ;) imagine the life of a guy who's writers comments like this on a website devoted to a game. Touché

posted a message on Poll: Why the hate for Control decks?

Started in 2015 playing control.. Still play control everyday, my favorite, more difficult decisions and play making. Not just play 1 and 2 mana cost minions and smack face.  I still love playing control matchups, they take a little while but alot of enjoyment in them. Nowadays everyone is looking for quick wins no1 cares about control, especially that certain control vs control matchups can take over 40kins to complete 1 game

posted a message on Does Blizzard hear us?

I always wondered if Blizzards Hearthstone Team or Blizzard themselves read these forums. I've heard they do for Reddit, but, for HearthPwn I dont know. I would hope so considering the amount of community on this site. I for one love Hearthpwn, I read new articles and forums everyday. Shout out to Flux!

So in case Blizzard is listening, here is what the community wants. In case I miss anything please feel free to comment down below and maybe out of some miracle we can get some clarification from the creators. I will also do my best to explain why and what I'm trying to convey.  Maybe by some miracle we can get a response as to what's cooking in the minds of the great HS Team at Blizzard, keeper of cards, defender of the hearth.

    **Drum roll please**

    1) Achievements - probably the biggest thing and 1 I've heard alot about, more achievements! Collect every card from this set, get a prize (gold, dust etc) , have 500 rank wins with all heroes, get this prize. This will give players more reason to play and maybe spend more real $. The more enticing the game, the more likely customers/players will continue playing and spending $

    2) 500 Rank Wins - We know 500 rank wins gives you a golden hero. What happens after?  Maybe we can add at 1000 ranked wins you get a new shiny border showing your accomplishments. Diamond, platinum border?

    3) Contests and Pricing - maybe not lower the price, but, maybe offer rewards to get discounts on future expansions. For some people but not all, hearthstone can be expensive! If you open whatever it is 400 packs to guarantee a full set that could equate to alot of money + 3 expansions per year.. that's a small fortune for some people just to keep playing the game they love. Offer discounts or prizes to ease the burden for your customers.

    4) Player Participation - let us vote for new cards, cardbacks and card designs. Give us the text for the card and let the players design the card, most votes win? Get the players more involved in the actual game they play. Example - Give us 3 designs, let us vote and print that design onto the card. If you get the Ayers more involved they are more likely to keep playing and more importantly more likely to spend $$.

On a side note to #4, if you win the competition to design, they will recieve something. 20% of next pre expansion bundle or something like that.

Things less likely and most likely impossible - But, I'll throw then out there anyway just to hear some opinions and critiques.

    1) Tournament Mode - Maybe a different client (like ESEA for CSGO) where they host tournaments. Basically a Victorious Gaming, Battlefy website, made into a separate client for the game. How it would work is basically download the client (maybe a small fee to download, I wouldnt mind) and have access to rooms where small tournaments are being held where you join and play?)

    2) Trading/Borrowing -This topic I know is very sensitive because of Blizzards motto to keep the $$ in house. Maybe limit the amount of trades per season where my friend and I can switch/trade/borrow cards so I can play other decks without actually borrowing the full deck from my friend and playing strictly him/her with it. This way I can test the  new Harbinger Celestia deck without crafting it and regretting it in the future.

So I know my grammar might not be the best, I really didnt have time to proofread this today. I would love to hear the communities ideas and I will edit this post and add the good ones until we get some flavorful responses... maybe from the legends themselves.. Blizzard.

Thanks for listening and as always GL HF!

posted a message on The true state of druid has been revealed

1 card counters the whole archetype in token druid, I figured it out day 1 of RoS. That 1 card is the dreaded, feared Wild Pyromancer!!

posted a message on Rise of Shadows Card Nerfs - What Do Pros Want To See Smacked?

    My opinions on Warrior -

think warrior is super strong with there generation of cards.  I think its way to much for 1 class.. 2 omega assemblies, 2 dragon roar, the DK discover a mech.. and Elysiana... that's 10+ new cards that were never in your deck to start... tone down the free cards for warrior or Change Dr Boom DK -  give your mechs rush for next turn only.

    My opinions on Rogue-

Change prep that's the problem... it allows to make super crazy Edwin's very early in the game and also allowing card draw with cards like raiding party on turn 0 to refill after you spent all your cards making the Edwin. If this isnt it then look Myras and Waggle Pick which can also be potential problems.

In my games I feel like its play Myras and next turn have lethal.. Every.Single.Game. For waggle pick.. well that card with leeroy is just stupid. Leeroy + waggle hit to face + leeroy + all the other rogue bs..

Evil Miscreant I dont have a problem dealing with nor do I see a problem with it. Other than it being annoying that Rogue will always have combo activators with the little 1/1 lackey's. I think that adding more lackeys that are bad will be enough to curb evil miscreant. All the lackeys now are actually pretty good considering.. we need at least 1 or 2 bad ones

The Carpet.. eh.. I dont see much of it on ladder but, it can be a future problem if anything lower its health by 1

My odd elemental mage I designed destroyed every big priest I've raced off against this week. Went from rank 15 to 7 with it. Good luck
