A lot of these decks look the same. I was kind of hoping the best of the best in the competitive scene would come up with something more creative or as-of-yet-unseen than the usual blah.
I don't really like playing against secret mages. They just aren't fun to play against due to the nature of their play style (also, RNG being RNG, I never draw my Flares or Eater of Secrets in time, lol).
I think people are underestimating the power of this card, simply because the threat of having a Paladin suddenly turn one of their already standing 1/1 hero power minions into a 10/10 is a very real possibility. Opponents will second guess and/or think twice about just going for your face in the late game when you have one of your little knight minions on the field. Hearthstone is as much a mind game as any other TCG despite not being able to see the opponent's facial expressions.
Also, as mentioned before, this is a huge boon for Ivory Knight.
This deck is very effective by budget standards. I've played about 7 or 8 games and have only lost to pirate warrior - literally everyone expects the deck to be aggro until you toss out that sweet Evolved Kobold + Frost Bolt + Ice Lance x2 combo. I did sub in my Bloodmage Thalnos for Cult Sorcerer, though the deck I've used is otherwise identical to the one posted here.

Honestly, I feel like Saronite Chain Gang would be a better, more economical choice if you're lacking Living Mana.

The artist for this card is Ralph Horsely.
There's a joke in there somewhere.

"Battlecry: Remove Leeroy Jenkins, Tirion Fordring, or the exact Shadow Word your opponent is praying for next turn from your opponent's deck."

It's a bear, but it's also a shark. Bearshark! Practical and safe. For kids.

Really solid budget deck. It's good to see budget options because not all of us have the time and/or money available to build up a huge card library.

Lani changed her resume around noon today, so it's very likely Blizz sent her a little letter this morning:
