Any room for Cult Master or Divine Favor? Card draw is vital if you don't want to run out of steam against the slower opponents.

What are your thoughts on Hogger and Black Knight?

With only one Equality, I kind of feel pressured at times to find additional answers against big Taunts.

Plus, I kind of love how Hogger pops out for me free Taunts every turn. :D

What's your opinion of Black Knight and Hogger for Control Paladin?

With only one Equality, wouldn't you want more options against big Taunt minions after expending the first Equality just to survive?

Also, Hogger gives you free Taunts! :D

Guys, if a token minion (e.g. from Violet Teacher or Illidan Stormrage) were to die, it still counts towards reducing the cost of Dragon's Breath.

With Spare Parts and cheap spells like Arcane Missiles and Mirror Image, getting token fodder for Dragon's Breath won't be too hard.

Another token factory minion that could help with Dragon's Breath is Hogger, who pretty much repeatedly poops taunts for free if you can protect him.

What do you think of including Black Knight in this deck? Could really give you an edge against Ramp Druid (Ancient of War), Control Pally (Sunwalker or Tirion), and Handlock (Molten or Mountain).

Besides, even without my above niche examples, I'm seeing tons of Belchers in almost every midrange/control deck I've faced, giving Black Knight a target most of the time.

Magicianeer Wolf is frankly overpowered for Hunter, especially if combining it with Unleash the Hounds against Paladin and Shaman, the two most minion-reliant classes.

Given how prominent Deathrattle is in this meta, I don't feel comfortable with having only one Owl. Also, even though Zombie Chow is the ideal turn one for control decks these days, it's pretty much a dead card in the late game, ruining your attempts to reach fatal once you attempt to race against Hunter or Mech Mage with your taunted fatties. (Then again, did you deliberately include Zombie Chow as a way to screw over Mage's Mirror Entity?)

I also disagree with only having one Siphon Soul, since being able to play two is what usually guarantees my victory against control and midrange.

As for the Hellfire Shadowflame ratio, I have 1 Hellfire and 2 Shadowflame so that I can consistently perform turn 10 Sylvanas Shadowflame combos. Is Ragnaros' burst damage worth the lost opportunity to perform that combo?

Is there any room for Sorcerer's Apprentice? Reducing the spare parts cost from 1 to 0 mana would be significant, allowing you to get immediate value from Antonidas and Illidan during the respective turns you play them.

Does that mean the definition of "playing around MCT" will change from "only 3 minions on your board" to "only 2 minions on your board"?

But isn't a control deck supposed to have room for answers to all of the opponent's threats?

I'm not denying the usefulness of Aldor or Equality, but what happens when you don't draw them on the exact turns that you desperately need them?  (and let's face it, your deck is sorely lacking in terms of reliable card draw, aside from the lone Lay on Hands, maybe we could make room for a Cult Master in response?)

Anyway, returning to my point, by then, you would want a backup plan, right? In this case, I'm arguing that BGH and BK should be your backup plans.

posted a message on Stealth Mage (NEW MAGE)

What about making room for at least one Ancient Mage? There are two common problems with Spell Damage minions:

    1) they are immediately killed by your opponent the turn after you summon them alone and unprotected

    2) if you try hoarding the Spell Damage minion and board clear in your hand until the right moment to play them on the same turn, that means usually waiting for another two or three turns before your shining moment to board clear; by then, you'll probably have lost too much tempo and health against faster decks.

Thankfully, since your deck is primarily focused on out-of-range-of-AOE Stealth minions, Ancient Mage has potential to shine in your deck and solve the above addressed problems. If you actually manage to pull off my suggested advice, there will be no way to get rid of your newfound +2 Spell Damage without the opponent conveniently having Brawl, Twisting Nether, Deathwing, an Equality combo, or a lucky steal from Mind Control Tech.

"And all I see in the meta is mech mage"

Regardless of whether your deck is control, aggro, or midrange, almost everyone and their grandmother is running Dr. Boom, so wouldn't you want to make room for a BGH?

Plus, there's also Black Knight to consider putting in, since Sludge Belcher seems to be another must-have in every control/midrange deck too (as well as a bonus against Druid and Handlock).

posted a message on [S11 LEGEND] Midrange Paladin

Since people are getting smarter on how to play around Mind Control Tech (or since you're probably dead if you don't get the right steal from MCT), would it be wise to swap it out for a Blood Knight?

Damn Annoy-a-Tron and Enhance-o-Mechano are everywhere these days, especially with Mech Mage, Mech Shaman, and Mech Rogue.  We might as well fight back with Blood Knight.

Of course, if you wanted to draw Blood Knight more consistently, could we take out BGH for a second Blood Knight? Or, would that be too much of a tradeoff?
