Hoo boy, bundling. A 1/2 taunt is Goldshire Footman, a 2/4 taunt is Squirming Tentacle, and a 4/8 taunt is close enough to Violet Warden. Adding it all up, you get 10 mana added to the + two card bundling bonus, which is 12 mana in total. To be fair, though, all three of the cards listed are underpowered cards that never saw play. Even so, you're still getting solid value from this - at the lowest estimate, maybe 9 mana worth of taunt. If a more value or spell based control paladin deck starts to rise, you'll definitely see this card as a stable part of the holy package.

This powercreeps Forbidden Healing, but I personally don't think that card was ever actually good to begin with. Even though it saw play, it really only did so because paladin didn't have better options. Where this card really shines is with synergies - enabling Shimmering Sunfish and Wild Pyromancer, as well as having its effects magnified while under the effects of Lightforged Cariel and her The Immovable Object. By itself though, the card is very fair. Nice design, and I'm happy to see control paladin using it to the despair of aggro decks!

This one's an easy rating - 3 mana 4/2 divine shield is right smack average as a 5/10, and the battlecry adds a point. It pairs very nicely with Seafloor Savior in particular, as the copy created by Sunken Mooncatcher will also be buffed. Unsurprisingly, it's a solid card in mech paladin.

Sure, why not? Lone Champion is now a fish, isn't so lonely anymore (although you will often be playing this alone on turn 3), and has gained +1 health and a love of holy spells. This is a solid card both on defense and offense, and you can expect it to be good whenever even just a few holy spells are playable. This gets a bump above Kotori Lightblade and The Garden's Grace for just being really reliable.

Okay - this isn't quite 2 mana draw 5, but it's usually drawing you 3-4 cards, comparing favorably with Book of Specters and Fungal Fortunes. Add in dredge synergy and a tutor in the form of Stonehearth Vindicator, and you've got a strong card that is almost-singlehandedly keeping mech paladin in the competition.

An pretty cool card with a high potential upside, Kotori Lightblade joins the ranks of cards like Raj Naz'jan and Lady S'theno from this set that really shouldn't be played on curve. Instead, Kotori wants you to combo this with buffing holy spells, of which there currently isn't enough support for. However, synergy-reliant cards do tend to get better as the year progresses, so look out for more holy spells (preferably cheap ones) that could make this card work in a variety of paladin decks.

As with the other colossi, this compares favorably with the once-overpowered Firelands Portal. At the cost of not being able to go face the turn you play it, you deal 4 damage twice instead of 5 damage once, get a 4/5 and a 4/2 rather than a random 5 drop, and also both dredge once and draw once, with the threat of doing so on future turns. Add on top of this the fact that this card is a mech, and you have a card that is seeing play in literally every single paladin deck in standard. This card is gated only by the fact that the rest of the paladin cards are pretty medium at time of writing. Once again, I'm baffled by how a card in this expansion got past testing.

This is a strong card in any tempo mage, and indeed, it currently has a place in Naga Mage. This card also feels like cheating when you go second and start with The Coin. Reasonable stats, and relevant typeline, and a solid effect all make this quite appealing.

Solid card in mech mage. On the base, it's like a Sightless Watcher, which is fair and a 5/10. It gets a point bump for the synergy with bottom-of-deck cards like Ambassador Faelin and mechs, which mage has plenty of.

Sure, "conditional" 2 mana draw two. This is pretty good, and is basically exactly what the mage naga deck wants. The play pattern is to start with a spell/naga that doesn't have a prerequisite of spells or nagas, like First Flame or Vicious Slitherspear. From there, you can use your payoffs to also trigger the conditions of your other payoffs, meaning basically nothing has a condition, including this card. Overall, it's pretty solid, even if the wording is a little strange.

Drawing comparisons with Queen Azshara, this card really shows the internal synergy in the set - spells get you nagas and empower them, nagas get you spells and empower them, and so on and so forth. Commander Sivara might be gated by the fact that you only get spells that you've cast (which are likely to be cheap, low-value ones), but that might just be exactly what you want to turn on your other nagas quickly, such as Queen Azshara. You do need to put in the work to make this worthwhile, but it's pretty good when it's good.

Assuming no synergy whatsoever, this is approximately corrupted Dunk Tank + a 5/7. That's pretty medium, but still good in packaging. Where this really shines is when you build a whole deck around mech mage, which has been done, in which case it gets pretty nuts the moment a single mech sticks on the board. That's surprisingly not hard when many mechs have higher health than attack, and others have divine shield (see Annoy-o-Tron for both!). Thus, this is a solid finisher and value piece in an aggro/midrange mech mage.

This is 1 mana deal 4/deal 2 twice, with basically the condition that this can't be played on turn 1. Thing is, you never wanted to play Arcane Shot on turn 1, anyway, even if it was the only thing you could do, and even in face hunter. Thus, it's really not even a condition, as all the nagas in the set are above-average creatures, making this a great card in both quest and face hunter.

With plenty of cheap nagas and multiple naga hunter supporting cards, it's no surprise that Landscaping with upside is an extremely potent and important card in the current interations of face/aggro hunter. There's not much to be said here = two 3/3s for 3, with almost no prep needed, is just good. Even the fail-state of two 2/2s isn't bad, it's just average.

Well then. It seems like all that was needed to fix the Trump 1 star custom HS rating was to add a little wave particle effect to the hero portrait. Anyhow, cheating mana is really scary, and this doesn't need to stick on the board to do it. Twinbow interestingly enough doesn't see play in the current quest hunter deck, perhaps because it's too slow, and it's one of the lowest winrate options in face hunter. Perhaps, then, the real home for this is some sort of value hunter in the future, as the effect is still inherently powerful. Imagine if Call of the Wild had been in standard with this!
