Here's my idea, cranked it out in 15 minutes so really not balance patched.
So that'll be the card, I'll post his profile and hero power too.

The following balance change will be made in an upcoming patch:
Warsong Commander now reads: Your Charge minions have +1 Attack.
Over the course of the short but impactful history of Hearthstone, we’ve taken a strong stance that we’d like to make changes to cards only when they are completely necessary. The direction of gameplay and the metagame should be defined by our players, and as the meta is evolving, many different types of decks can emerge. Cards that were once impactful in the meta can be less so once new strategies emerge, and that change is brought on by the constant need and drive for innovation by our players.
Innovation is just one way a game can evolve, and the best way to shake up the meta and innovate in Hearthstone is by introducing new cards into the game. Introducing new cards to Hearthstone is our preferred method of changing the current state of the game. It’s exciting to discover a deck that may have an advantage over a popular deck out there, and new cards lead to the discovery of new combinations, and new conversations. Hearthstone thrives off of stories about enjoying a fast-paced, fun game with friends that’s full of delightful surprises.
Going forward, we will continue to stand by our stance that we will only make adjustments to cards when we feel it is completely necessary and allow the injection of new cards into the game help our players define what the meta evolves into. In the case of Warsong Commander, we felt this change was necessary to help expand both future design space and to stand by our overarching game philosophy that battles between minions and fighting for board control is what makes Hearthstone fun and compelling.
RIP patron!

Looks like Secretdin will be hanging around for a while longer.
The only thing that is bugging me is the nature of the nerf. Instead of increasing cost, decreasing stats, or decreasing the power level of ability, this nerf completely changes the nature of Warsong Commander's ability.
This must be one of those very rare cases where the original card was broken beyong belief, warranting a completely change in ability.
It begs the question: If the card was THAT broken, what took Blizzard so long?
The answer: They were too busy coming up with money-grabbing ideas like TGT and Hero Skins to bother about balance.

Not glad about it. As much as I see Patron as challenging and fun to fight against as well as to use, the nerf just overkilled it.

At least they could buff her to a 3/3 or 4/3. Otherwise it's just too big a nerf.
However, I don't think that this is gonna call more secret paladins and face hunters. At least not the second ones, the times where patron reigned over all things (Blackrock) was also the one with more face hunting, so I doubt less patrons change a thing.
However, I would like not to see Grim Patron completely removed, I guess some deck with Grim Patron and Bouncing Blade could really shine, specially against classes like secret paladins.

They keep overly nerfing cards when all they need to do is change the word "summon" to "play"
patron needed a nerf because it was a consistent way to deal ridiculous damage in a turn that couldn't hardly be played around
this way only the first one gets charge, ones you summon don't gain charge
this doesn't nerf any of the other combos with this card because they don't need to be, this card hardly saw play before patron
Frothing Berserker is extremely easy to play around and can be activated just as easily with Charge
only reason this card was a problem was Unleash the Hounds
change it to play and it takes away the insane draw potential but still keeps it playable in beast decks
won't trigger off unleash, snake trap, Ram Wrangler, Ball of Spiders deathrattle from Savannah Highmane. odds are you'll rarely even get 3 cards off it the first turn (you'd have to hold onto a really cheap hand of beasts) and it is highly unlikely a 1 hp minion will survive a turn
solves the problems, keeps beast playable rather than give them this crap Call Pet
even Knife Juggler has too high value for a 2 drop with all the cheap token spawns these days, change it to play and problem solved (Muster for Battle Snake Trap Unleash the Hounds Imp-losion Living Roots)

I'll not read the whole topic (18 pages), idk if someone had the same idea. If blizzard likes rng so much, why not make warsong commander "whenever you play a minion with 3 or less attack, it has 50% chance to give it charge"

Warsong kills archetypes, nerfing thaurisan ends the broken things Such as the patron+frothing+warsong, but the deck si still insane vs aggro and has a bad matchup vs control like D Priest, hand lock and Cw. If you make thaurisan a 5 mana 5/5 with his effect at the start of the turn, he isnt completely unplayable but no longer makes patron, druid, and hand lock insane.

Yes, they are having issues. Servers blew up or something.

no FS gatherings in my area, so nothing.

Started playing since day one, but now I only play to get the card back each month. Haven't missed one since day one, not going to stop now.

It's not just Hearthstone. So many streamers are quitting all Blizzard games, WoW, Overwatch, HoTS. I think people are finally going to stand up to Blizzard and let them know that their games are turning to crap and will just stop playing them.

Well, of course everything is going to seem good on the first day.

So many cards that are just reprints from past expansions.

Let the disappointments begin!

Who is this "Ben" imposter? There is only one BEN that can be a part of Hearthstone!

Wish they would have brought this guy to play

Whoever designs this stuff really needs to be fired. Those jackets are terrible looking and most everything else is pretty bad looking. That Hearthstone backpack is pretty nice looking, but like someone else said, it didn't need to say Hearthstone on it, the symbols for the game would have been good enough.
