Malygos is great if you like combo decks. He's absolutely irreplaceable to the point that nearly every deck that runs him names the deck after him. It'll open up Malylock, Malyrogue, miracle druid and otk shaman decks. Probably my favorite legendary because I like that play style but they are pretty specific decks that use him so he's not quite as versatile as some others.

You absolutely will not regret crafting Tirion or Justicar though so I'd probably start there.

Playing what you know best is the best way to get legend. From 5-l skill and understanding of the matchups is more important than which deck. When I was facing a lot of Druids I used tempo mage though, played druid before that myself. Just about every class has a strong deck right now so I would say play what you're most comfortable with.

edit: as for deck lists, check out Tempo Storms Meta Snapshot, the matchup section I find particularly useful when climbing but they have deck lists too, not always the best deck for the archetype because they highlight 1 each week but a great resource regardless.

I like your list and the changes you've made. Velen's is the most important card in the mirror match and getting it on a deathlord can be game over for aggro. 2x Museum Curators is a must, it is your early and late game. What I love about priest right now is that there is no wrong answer as far as deck lists go. If you like blademasters run them. like Velen's better? Have at it! 1x pyro, 1x chow, whatever you are most comfortable with. Winning with the deck is more about your skill than what is in a few slots, all of the variations are viable. If you ever watch Zeta's stream he is constantly changing things in and out and he consistently wins no matter what he's playing with.

I'm going to have to go with using Harrison Jones on Doomhammer or Blood Fury. Huge tempo swing, fill your hand, put a 5/4 on the board and crush dreams all in one 5 mana card!

Actually, if you destroy either you just wreck yourself (before you check yourself), because drawing 5-6-7 cards in late game is pretty much suicide.
I completely  disagree. If you don't fill your hand and start pushing once the opponent becomes Jax you WILL lose the long game and if you don't destroy aggro shamans doomhammer you are dead in just a couple of turns if that. It swings losses into wins even if it burns a couple of cards.

Personally I think she works better as a last resort win condition rather than having the entire deck build around her.And  I wouldn't call a card terrible just because it does not work in x amount of decks ,as long as a card works fine in at least one semi-viable deck, then I would not call the card trash.

Finally someone understands! This turned into more than I expected but I'll post this one more way and I'm done.
The 3/5 that you play proactively is good enough. The bonus is she gives you a free panic button. Similar to Deathwing or dropping Rag on a full board in the slight chance it wins you a game you otherwise would have lost. I'll repeat, you play the card when you would have otherwise already lost the game. I'll take a small chance of pulling off a comeback over the 0% chance any day.
Again, I'm not saying the card is op or an auto-include but many people underrate the card and others see the flashy effect and overrate the card. She falls somewhere in the middle.

Good review as usual but I think you are seriously underestimating Elise. As a 3/5 for 4 mana her stats are already decent, she has no drawback and her potential upside is immense. Control decks can play her proactively putting a good body on the board to trade. She also adds +1 card to your deck which can help in the fatigue game, also the golden monkey is put in your deck before so you can use the map when you are already in fatigue. Now for the upside, it's true you may not want to play the monkey right away but what it is is an incredibly powerful panic button, imo second only to Deathwing. Again, not using the monkey if you don't have to isn't a big deal but if you need it it can completely turn a game for you. Oh, did I mention the monkey is a 6/6 taunt for only 4 mana?

I personally think Elise is superior to shredder in control and fatigue decks. I'm having great success with it in a healadin I put together, it runs 2 LoH's so I draw it more reliably and if the game goes to or near fatigue Elise turns a useless LoH into a legendary.

Totally agree : just being a 4 mana 3/5 with an upside means she can't be "Savagery Tier", and should at worst be "Meh Tier" (according to OP ranking).
Personnally, i believe she can be more than that, as she allows Control-ish deck to lower their curve to better fight faster decks, while still having a win condition against Control Warrior. Also, the Map give you extra fuel for spell-triggered effects, which can be very handy for Mage or Control Priest.
I honestly believe that you're overrating Elise, because in a lot of match-ups you won't even play the golden monkey as you will be needing some of the spells in your hand/deck + that in these control decks you actually need to make space for her, which is usually pretty difficult.
I can't be overrating her, she's just a solid 4 drop for some decks.  I don't get the hype or the hate.

I agree with a lot of what you said but I think you're missing a big part of my point. It's true that you don't always want to play the golden monkey but you're not including the monkey in your deck, you're including Elise which is a 4 mana 3/5, already a decent body that isn't conditional and has no drawback. you play the golden monkey when you've basically already lost the game and this gives you a Hail Mary to pull out of a win when the game would have otherwise been lost.

I'm not saying the card is op or an auto-include but I think it has a place in a lot of control decks. Many Control decks are packed with removal and conditional cards so having a body to play proactively is certainly welcomed and if you cheese a win or two out of it here and there then all the better. Again, there is no real downside, just a potential way to swing a loss into a win.

    Quote from Geck >>

Honestly, I feel like Oil Rogue would be the single worst deck type for Sir Finley.  The whole deck revolves around having a weapon!

This. He's great in raptor rogue though. I out valued a midrange Pali by grabbing life tap and and beat a few control decks with the help of steady shot.
