First of all, I don't believe you when you say you faced 24 shamans in 30 games.

Secondly, if you are facing them so much, why not make a deck that stomps on Shaman?

Lastly: aggro shaman is extremely overrated. If you pack any kind of removal, it just rolls over.

I agree that aggro shaman is overrated but that isn't the deck anyone is talking about. Xixo's list is a totem midrange monster. Very hard for most classes to deal with the board state they create...then recreate. You sound pretentious while talking out of your ass.

I agree, I can only play decks that counter xixo's shaman or slight variants of it. I give him credit though, really strong deck, I just hate seeing the same deck all the time.

Sylvanas is a must have, especially right now in a meta basically devoid of silence. She's great in control priest and I'm willing to bet she makes more sense in your other decks than might have initially thought.

I also don't ever remember a snapshot that I disagreed with more. Tempo warrior should be rated higher, c'thun druid lower, I already mentioned the shamans in my previous post as well as zoo. They were all over the place as far as I got but before I could even finish the whole thing the site seemed to crash so I'll have to check back. As I mentioned before though, the meta is still in flux so I'll definitely give them a pass on the first rankings of standard. It's just too early to have any hard data so everyone's rankings will be personal and purely opinion for awhile.

I very strongly disagree with their assessment of Aggro Shaman. I find it strictly inferior to his Midrange counterpart and easy to counter. I'd bump it down around Freeze Mage or Midrange Hunter and bump everything else one step up, which would conveniently put Patron in tier 1, where I feel it belongs.

Zoo is clearly the deck to beat right now - it's the fun police of the format, much more than Aggro Shaman.

I agree that aggro shaman is overrated, I've definitely seen a lot more mr shamans this week too. (US)
i disagree about zoo though. This is the most overrated deck in the game to me. Over the last week I haven't lost a single game to this new weenie zoo. This could be that I play classes and decks that counter it well but I generally play all classes. It might also be that I just don't personally like this new version of zoo so I might be negatively biased against it.
It goes to show you how inexact a science ranking decks is this early in the xpac. I think it's more opinion than science at this point.

Yogg would suck in arena. You can't reliably draft enough spells to make him work. He is a constructed card if I've ever seen one. I personally like him but from a competitive stand point he's not very good. I'll be rank 5+ or legend even in the next week and I'll be playing troll Yogg decks to get there. That card is so much fun.

I still use those so I'd rather not but I wouldn't blame anyone for dusting the regular ones too. I'm sitting on 5500+ dust, let's not get greedy.

I didn't even think about this but I ended up with over 4k dust last night dusting golden copies of all the changed cards! I was looking at my collection when I noticed my golden keeper otg said I could dust it for 800! Commons like leper gnome are worth 400 dust. That's value. There were some I didn't even realize we're changed like master of disguise so if you are like me and keep golden copies of playable cards you could be sitting on a dust mine.

RNG is looked at as negative so all those cards are stronger than they should be to make up for it. You can manipulate it in your favor and then add in your hero power if something doesn't go perfectly. It's not a deck for people that don't understand probability but it's one of my favorite decks to rank up with every month.

The only rng card that I don't like is spellslinger. I thought I would like that card more but it has just burned me too many times, so I don't run it.

I like Deathwing but it only fits in some niche decks, if you are missing staples craft those first. Rag will find his way into a lot of your decks while you build your collection, a solid craft overall.

Lot looks like you have a lot of decks you want to play and only so much dust to work with so I would find one or two decks you really want to play and start crafting that, hopefully there is some overlap so your legendaries get use in other decks too.

posted a message on Too Many Crazy Decks

I agree with a lot of what you said but I don't think this is an aggro meta at all. Most of my games go at least 10 turns unless I'm also playing a tempo deck that aims to win around turn 8. Im seeing more mr shaman than aggro, zoo has been no trouble to me at all, regardless of what deck I'm playing. I see lots of c'thun decks that aren't great decks and they are control. Tempo Warriors also are not aggro. The only hunters I see are mr or are running n'Zoth, certainly not face. Tempo mages are a pretty rare sight and they are an aggressive deck but not a face deck.

I don't understand people saying it's an aggro meta, people just call every meta an aggro meta because they don't track games and because they dislike them, there is a bias and they remember it more. The human brain is notoriously bad at keeping count of things like this.

As far as councilman and flamewreathe, every class has answers. It's not like either of those cards are secrets, every deck runs them, you have to prepare for them starting at mulligan. Every once in a while you won't have an answer but that's probability and it is everywhere in HS. Just because owl and bgh were nerfed (correctly nerfed mind you) doesn't make them unplayable. People overreact to nerfs, all you can do is take advantage of it.

Think in terms of percentages and play the best odds. Similar to poker, you usually aren't 100% to win a hand but you get your chips in when the odds are in your favor. Even if you have a 99% chance to win, that means 1 game in a 100 you are supposed to lose. Keep playing the same way and don't go on tilt.

You know, the more I think about it the more I wouldnt dust the twins. You mentioned that you like wild and the more cards that get released the better the twins become. They are already good cards, they have decent stats for their cost and their effect is just gravy. In the future there will definitely be wild decks where they can really shine.

I wouldn't blame anyone for de'ing any of those but I do think the twins are a little underrated, they just don't have a great deck to go in yet. I don't have y'shaarj but he seems underwhelming to me for 10 mana. He might be good in an astral communion deck or some really heavy warrior or priest lists but he's nowhere near the top of my list of things to craft.

I don't like giving de advice because I personally don't dust legendaries so I'd feel like a hypocrite. I play a good amount of arena and within a week or two I have enough dust for another legendary. But again, I totally understand if you want to dust any of those for something better that you can use now.
